Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Stratford-upon-Avon

We had a lovely weekend stay at Gary's place. The location was perfect, a 5 minute walk to all the main attractions and the cottage was so well stocked and beautifully clean and cosy. Gary sorted out parking which was right outside the cottage, and helped with all our other queries. I forgot my kindle and he posted it onto me straight away with tracked delivery. We could not ask for a better host. Definitely a 5 star stay, and highly recommend.

What a gorgeous Airbnb! The location gives you a perfect base to get to the popular Cotswold villages and the view from the bedroom window is stunning! The flat was very clean and spacious with a comfortable bed and a lovely shower, we would definitely stay here again!

The barn was just like the pictures and very clean which was perfect as we was travelling with a baby. It’s very peaceful with lovely views from the garden and would definitely recommend. If you are travelling with dogs just note there is not direct access to the garden from inside the property as it is accessed through a gate round the front of barn.

Simply perfect! The hamlet is a haven of unparalleled tranquility. In Lantern Cottage itself we marvelled at the tasteful design and a ceaseless feast of wonderful quirkiness. The beautifully tended garden is a delightful place to find solitude. One of the highlights of our many travels this idyllic cottage is a definite revisit.

The great thing about the house is that it's less than a 5 minute walk to the pedestrianised area in the center of Stratford-upon-Avon, but is still in a quiet little side street with a parking space. The interior is good, particularly the kitchen and bathroom. There is also a lovely garden with comfortable outdoor seating. All the attractions of Stratford-upon-Avon are an easy walk away.

This is my third time visiting Badgers Bothy and we've made it 4 for next year! It is a little peace of heaven, set in the most gorgeous setting. If you are looking for a place to relax, unwind and forget about things for a few days then Joe's place is perfect for this. It's beautifully decorated, beautifully clean and feels like a second home from the second you walk through the door. The wildlife is an additional bonus - sat in the living room watching a Muntjac walk past was just the cherry on the top. Thanks Joe for another lovely visit, we are very much looking forward to coming back next year x

Lovely place to stay. Very homely and perfect for the two of us when we were wanting visit further into the Cotswolds and Stratford-Upon-Avon. Alexandra was super responsive when we contacted her! I would recommend to anyone wanting a quiet stay.

Stratford has no shortage of places to stay, but this property is far superior to most. The host has modelled the accommodation perfectly, to give it a modern, clean appeal, while feeling relaxed and homely. The location is ideal for anyone wanting to explore the town on foot - the RSC is only a short walk away, the Birthplace, even closer. Nearby restaurants abound, although remember, this is Stratford, so everything does close a little earlier. That said, there are lots of takeaways and supermarkets in close proximity if you prefer to eat at home, using the apartment’s well appointed, modern kitchen. The host is extremely helpful, offering detailed instructions pre-arrival, and was friendly and responsive at all times. I will most certainly return to this lovely apartment.

Great space and beautiful surroundings. Peaceful private garden area. Lesley left a nice cake, fresh milk and eggs for us - so considerate, would highly recommend host and accommodation.

We absolutely loved our stay at Globe House — the photos truly don’t do it justice. The apartment was even more beautiful in person: light, spacious, and filled with thoughtful touches that made it feel like a home away from home. The small private garden was a real highlight for us — such a peaceful suntrap, perfect for relaxing with a morning coffee or evening glass of wine. Everything was so well equipped, from the generously sized family kitchen to the beautifully clean bathrooms. The host provided incredibly clear instructions, from how to access the property to where to park the car — hands down the best Airbnb we’ve ever stayed at for clarity and ease. She even thought ahead and left us fans, which were much appreciated during the hot weather. The mix of modern comfort and Victorian charm throughout the space was beautifully done, and the location couldn’t have been better — just a short stroll across the street and you’re right in the heart of Stratford-upon-Avon.

My second stay at the flat, so already knew how to find the flat, access etc. Great location for working near Banbury. Brilliant kitchen, lovely lounge area and separate bedroom. Lovely stay again, have already booked to stay again :)

Really peaceful and comfortable stay. Check-in was really easy. Felt really private and relaxing. Good value. Will be back the next time I’m on tour in the area :)

I stayed at Amanda's place for a work trip an the location was perfect, quiet and peaceful but still only 5 minutes from the M40. Amanda and her husband could not have been more friendly. It's a working farm but not noisy in the slightest, if anything it adds to the tranquil vibe of the property. About 2 miles off the beaten track, plenty of dog walkers use the lane leading to the property plus Amanda's 4 very friendly and well behaved dogs give the place a very homely feel, with plenty of privacy. The garden and views over the countryside are perfect. The ideal escape from the city.

Great stay with Jane. They went above and beyond. We hope to be invited to stay again in September. Great location. Great apartment. Loved it all. One of the best places we have stayed with the nicest hosts.

The Loft House is on a main road and easy to find. We stayed 3 nights here as it was ideally situated to meet up with friends in Kenilworth and from Worcestershire. So it was a great base for us. Besides that we really enjoyed visiting nearby Packwood House and Coughton Court. The weather was pretty hot while we were staying but this lovely little home was very comfortable - plenty of windows and doors can be opened and we enjoyed a nice gentle breeze coming through. This also let us look out over the adjacent field and the garden area. This seemed to be frequented often by tiny rabbits, squirrels, small deer and even a fox (not all at the same time!). Very peaceful and delightful! The place is very neatly designed and the furniture and beds very comfortable. We didn't miss anything at all and the kitchen contained all the necessities. It is decorated to a good standard and homely and relaxing. If we travel to this area again we would love to stay here again.

John was very friendly and helpful! He stocked the kitchen with very nice snacks, drinks, and treats for our stay and gave us very helpful info for our travels. the space was so special and charming, one of our favorites fo sure!! the front yard garden is just gorgeous! 10/10 would stay again!

Perfect location for walking trips into Stratford Upon Avon, could leave the car behind for a few days. Comfortable and clean accommodation. Absolutely great find, will stay again.

Victoria's property is exquisitely decorated and furnished throughout. The location is perfect for a short stroll into the town centre and access to the disused railway walking trail opposite. The living room is large and very light and airy with a high ceiling. Although at first floor level, the back door opens out onto a lovely enclosed garden. Ideal for our dog. Above all, we were very surprised as to how peaceful and quiet the location was. Thoroughly recommend it, couldn't have wished for any more, Victoria had thought of everything.

A great place to stay to explore Upton and the surrounding areas. Apartment is great in a central location right in town, easy walk to anywhere in Upton. Carola and Rick were great hosts, good clear instructions and helpful information. Apartment was spotless (thank you to their housekeeper Emma), and would highly recommended both the Regency Apartment and Carola and Rick as hosts.

We spent a weekend at Claire's and had a lovely time. The place is as described and a perfect location for a stroll into Broadway and for exploring the Cotswold's. Would highly recommend

This is our second time staying at Katie's place, it is such a lovely space, well equipped and in a great, peaceful location. Wouldn't hesitate to recomend if you are looking for a quiet break.

Home away from home the only way to describe this. Amazing location, well furnished. Also had a good mattress and solid water pressure for those that care! Central as it gets but quiet at night. Loved it and would highly recommend
