Beach house holiday rentals in Stockholm archipelago

We had a fantastic stay at the place - super nice and quiet surroundings in the middle of nature! Christina and her husband were also there - we had a very nice and extensive conversation and felt very comfortable. Individually furnished accommodation, typically Scandinavian - everything you need. The island is quite easy to explore - everyone on site was consistently friendly and open and the nature really seeks its equal. We fell in love - we will be happy to come back for the Swedish summer as in the picture book. Only tip: take a close look at how ferries travel to and from the island (but Christina is/was also very flexible and accommodating). We will be happy to come back!!

House is lovely. Mix of very old and some modern renovations. Sometimes more atmospheric than high standard. Location is artsy and great.

Our stay at Hans and Lena's place was very pleasant. The house exactly matches the photographs and description, it is very welcoming and equipped with every comfort. It is easy to get around by public transport: a few minutes' walk from the house there is in fact the bus stop that takes 30/40 minutes to Stockholm. The surroundings of the house are quiet and the view of the canal is very evocative. Unfortunately, due to schedules, we didn't have the pleasure of meeting Hans and Lena in person, but we met the son, very helpful. In any case, hosts were always available via phone and provided us with all the necessary information.

Heaven on earth

For the third year in a row, I have enjoyed the fantastic little cottage by the lake! The host Ulrich received me as kindly and helpfully as usual. Here you can really relax and enjoy the beautiful nature. If you sit on the balcony by the jetty, you are guaranteed to see a variety of birds swimming by and in the surrounding forest, there are squirrels and deer that come close. The cottage is incredibly cozy and has everything you could need during your stay. The bed is very comfortable, the kitchen is equipped and charcoal is available if you want to grill outside instead. The little cottage on Vättersö has become a nice annual tradition for me and I am already looking forward to next year!

We stayed 4 nights in this beautiful house. The location is ideal for those seeking peace and quiet. Nevertheless, Stockholm and some nature reserves are easily accessible by car or bus. However, we used the well-equipped kitchen and the grill, so we cannot comment on restaurants. From our point of view, we can only recommend a stay!

Johan and Laila's beautiful house meets all the requirements. Super spacious and nicely located on the waterfront with running trail. We had a wonderful time thanks to the very good care of the hosts. Highly recommended!

Excellent house with incredible views, outside space was spacious and south-facing, very peaceful. Inside, very modern and great space for larger groups. Perfect for our family reunion and had everything we needed. Adam was a great host, even picked up our luggage on arrival from ferry, very much appreciated. Sauna on the jetty is a major highlight too, lovely evenings spent watching the sunset. The island shop is also well stocked and a short walk. Thank you to Adam for making our holiday a truly memorable experience.

We had 2 very nice days and nights in the cottage. Our little girl had so much fun at the pool and was so happy she could use the toys of the family! The airbnb is equipped with everything we needed. It is close to the water and there is a nice beach and playground closeby. It was very relaxing and the hosts were very nice and always available when we had questions.

Thank you for a super nice stay. We will definitely come back and I already have several friends who want to book after they have seen the pictures and description of our stay. Great place!

Everyone who was there was completely shocked and positively surprised. It was like a dream come true. 🔥

A view we will never forget! Beautiful summer house, equipped with hot tub, sauna and pool, cozy fireplace and Kamado Joe Grill we loved! Our kids enjoyed the pool, the small treehouse and the outdoor toys. Enough space with 7 people and retreats, surrounded by great nature. 3 min walk to the sea with diving board and swimming spot, as well as 20 min to a small lake (fishing and swimming). On the island there is a small grocery store and about 25 minutes the nearest large supermarket (Lidl, ICA, etc.) We had great evenings in our own pool house with fantastic sunsets! We fully recommend Niklas's place. He was always available and often inquired about our well-being. Even when we had a problem with the toilet, he organized someone who was immediately on hand despite the weekend within a few moments. Great host with a nice touch to the reception.

We had a lovely stay at Roberts and Sandra house. Everything we need was there. Great transport links in and out of Stockholm. Highly recommend.

We had a fantastic stay! Magdalena and Oscar were super friendly, responsive, and welcoming, so everything was easy and smooth. The house is beautiful, with a spacious garden, lovely pool, and a charming greenhouse we really enjoyed. Surrounded by stunning nature, it was the perfect place to relax and recharge. Would love to come back!

Pelle and Simone’s house is everything they show. Can’t recommend it enough if you’re in for a stunning view of the archipelago and a peaceful retreat just 30 minutes away from Stockholm.

Great place to be in a week! Cozy cottage with glassed-in patio, lovely terrace and divine view! Equipped with everything you need. The cottage is very private even though the hosts also have a cottage on the island. The hosts are available, but have left us alone in the cottage. The hosts were very nice and helpful both before we arrived and during the stay. Bruno the dog also became our favourite! We had kayaks with us. Nice paddle water from the island and very easy to store three kayaks on the dock. We would very much love to come back and enjoy more days in this paradise.

Absolutely amazing place with welcoming and relaxed hosts! We were here for a writing retreat, for which the place was wonderful, but I could definitely see myself spending a week or two during the holidays. Go there, stay there!

The beach house is fantastic! The pictures do not make justice to the beauty of this place. It is the perfect retreat for a couple or a solo traveler. Malin is a fantastic host and the breakfast she prepared was outstanding! I would definitely recommend and come back!

Unfortunately there are so many nice things to do in the archipelago that we didn´t come around to fully enjoy this little gem. The pictures don´t lie; this is a great accomodation with a beautiful terrace in the trees. Our host also provided us with helpfull tips of what to do and where to find it so we fully recommend their stay.

We received a very nice welcome and a little tour. Ann was an incredibly nice and helpful host🌹. We really lacked nothing.

Lovely peaceful place. Short drive to bus into Stockholm. No restaurants close by but we were happy to cook at home. A few more condiments would have been very handy. Because we were resting, it would have been nice to have some footstools and coffee tables. All in all very nice. And very good communication with host.

We really enjoyed our stay at Lars‘ place. The area is beautiful and the view from the living area and balcony is outstanding. The house is modern and clean and also well equipped with everything needed. Check-in and communication was easy.

Great place to stay with easy access to the bus and Stockholm. Quiet, and plenty of space to spread out. We had four of us and then asked to have some exchange students join us for dinner, Felix graciously allowed our dinner. It was a great stay and I highly recommend it. Will definitely stay again when we return to Stockholm.
