Laura was very accommodating, considering our last minute request for our stay. She quickly moved into action and got the place prepped for our stay.

We decided to have a mini stay at Derek’s cabin, which looked like the perfect peaceful getaway — and it absolutely was, even though our trip was cut short by something no one could have predicted: a rural water main break. Unfortunately, this meant there was no running water. That said, Derek was incredibly responsive and apologetic about the situation. He offered us a refund or a credit for another weekend, which we really appreciated. We’re definitely planning to come back and enjoy the full experience soon. The cabin itself is rustic, adorable, and just what we love — clean, cozy, and perfectly set up for a quiet, relaxing stay. It had everything we needed, and we can’t wait to return under better circumstances.

Troy’s guest home was a wonderful stay. There was a laundry machine and dryer , which we appreciated. Everything you needed in the kitchen to cook your meal. The beds were comfortable and it was quiet! Would recommend as it is close to The Homestead National Historic Park ( which was very interesting. ) Be aware that the home is on a dirt road about a 1/2 mile .

Had a great, peaceful weekend with a friend at Judy's cottage. The pond was beautiful and we had fun relaxing on the dock and boating around. The cottage was so cute and comfortable and had all we needed to relax and enjoy our time together. The fresh cinnamon rolls were a treat! I will definitely return!
