This place was an amazing getaway for my girlfriend and I. The setting was awesome and really made us feel like we took a step back in time to a more simple way of living. The house was great and the decor inside and out was what made this place so intriguing. We stayed for 4 days and didn’t want to leave, this truly is a special place and a great atmosphere to unwind in. The owner was great and I would recommend staying here to anyone that appreciates history and the simple life of years past.

We had a truly unforgettable stay at Barbara’s place. The house is one-of-a-kind, built into the rocks with a cozy and artistic vibe. Our family loved dining outdoors, surrounded by nature, and cooking in the open-air kitchen was a unique experience. The landscape is stunning — perfect for peaceful walks and exploring with our kids and even our dog! Barbara was a warm and welcoming host, and everything was thoughtfully prepared. We felt completely at home and deeply connected to the beautiful desert surroundings. Highly recommended for anyone looking to unwind and reconnect.

Tucked away from busy roads, but very easy to access, this very comfortable home was just what I needed to relax and enjoy.

The land in the sky is a gem! We had everything we needed and space to spare. I would 11/10 come back to stay. Know that you will be on a dirt road to get here, just like Nathan describes. And that the park is about a 25 min drive just to get to the gates. It was so, so worth it though. We captured every sunrise and sunset just by staying here. Not to mention EPIC skies at night that are truly undisturbed by any surrounding light. We did leave early for one morning hike and it all worked out perfectly. The record player skips but it still played some of the albums and really brought the place to life!

We had a great time staying at Esther's place. It was a great location and walkable to coffee shops and restaurants, and we loved sitting on the nice, shaded backyard patio. My dog liked the park just across the street as well. Would definitely stay here again!

Oh my gosh. I loved the creativity and authenticity of the old best B&B. It is clear that this has been a passion project for Curtis. He has spent many many many hours creating these handmade Adobe without power tools. I loved walking through the cabin to get to the old West campus. It was like a portal going from conventional Tucson to 1800s Tucson. I liked having a separate cabin to myself. I really didn’t wanna leave. It’s so rustic and clever. It really reminded me of my Peace corps service in West Africa in the sub-Saharan desert. Water and electricity are limited and it’s a super rustic, authentic travel experience that everybody should try. Make sure you get trained on the compostable toilets before you arrive. I might not recommend this for the luxury traveler. But they could probably use the experience! :-)

Stayed for a week and it was super relaxing and peaceful. I loved the fireplace in the backyard, and sitting in front of it at night with the moon out. Such a beautiful setting. Saw a bunch of roadrunners, quails and rabbits running around. The space is big with great decor that felt one-of-a-kind and not generic.

Incredibly unique and peaceful Airbnb. Beautiful surrounding views. A must stay.

Samuel’s place was great for our weekend in Mesilla/Las Cruces. We have two dogs and prefer to travel with them, and his place was perfect! Not only a great yard, but also a large beautiful (and typically empty) park RIGHT next to the home. The house is all you need and temperature was always comfortable. Instructions were clear once we got there. The only note I would say is that the home is shorter because of its traditional style, so if you are on the taller side, I would move through the house carefully. Last thing we loved — there were very quiet and peaceful goats next door, and my dog treated it like TV. It was the most entertaining thing we could’ve done for the them. Thanks again! We will definitely stay here next time.

Monk and Simonne truly hosted me with care, and the courtyard of exquisite desert flora and fauna kept me captivated during quiet morning and evening reflections. This is the perfect spot for someone who wants a walkable neighborhood on a peaceful street, short drives to downtown and the U of A, and quiet space for reflection. The colors of the adobe interior are luscious. The kitchen was set up for someone who, like me, ACTUALLY intends to cook most of their meals. What a gem.

Worth every penny! Susan was great, met me at the door and was extremely hospitable! This place is perfect for a single person or a a couple of people.

Had a great weekend here! Was exactly as described and shown in the listing. Had everything we needed for the weekend. Trung was responsive and checked in throughout our stay. Great location in a quiet neighborhood but close to downtown and all the places we wanted to visit. Would definitely stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay. We were looking for somewhere peaceful and secluded. The house was very comfy. We slept well in the bed. The bathroom was awesome. I really liked all the big windows in the bathroom. It was a really a different experience to take a warm shower with a beautiful view. I loved it!! The first night, We lit the pit by the hot tub. And it REALLY warmed up the water. It was too cold outside by the time it was ready so we didnt get in. We'll plan it better next time. The second night, we BBQ'd and we had everything we needed for the grill. Lucas really thought of everything. We will definitely be back when it's a little warmer at night so we can appreciate the dark sky and beautiful stars.

My whole family gathered for Thanksgiving here. The house was even more beautiful than the pictures! It was like an oasis and we found everything one needed to feel right at home. We highly recommend this stay.

We spent just a few days at Nicole’s place and wished we could have moved in - it was a great layout for two friends, with the most comfortable beds, simple and beautiful furnishings everywhere, a perfectly stocked kitchen, an awesome backyard, easy off-street parking, and even on some unseasonably hot April days the whole home stayed cool and comfy. Already trying to figure out when we can come back. I also loved Nicole’s recommendations - so many of my favorites plus some cool new local spots to explore (the nearby bakery - sooo good!).

Gloria’s desert hideaway provided the most peaceful and tranquil stay imaginable. It is located right next to the West Saguaro National Park with amazing views and tons of wildlife to enjoy. The home itself is super comfortable with beautifully appointed furnishings and a well stocked kitchen. The dark skies are perfect for stargazing.

Me and my boyfriend had an amazing time. We liked how clean, private it was and also the ambiance. The host was very nice and friendly. Thank you so much for making our experience amazing.
