A quiet, studio-esque space walking-distance to Gascoigne Park (disc golf!), St. Simons Marina, Epworth By the Sea, and a recently added tandem kayak to play on the lake. The space features three beds, a hammock chair, mini-kitchen coffee/tea bar with Berkey water. Also a great spot to enjoy coffee in the morning sun filtering through the live oak trees above.

We absolutely loved our stay! A much needed family vacation! The house was beautiful and we felt right at home. The short walk to the beach was beautiful! We would go back in a heart beat! I would suggest to others to bring shampoo, conditioner and body wash as there was no starter packs in any of the 5 bathrooms. We will return and hope to rent the house again.

This beach house was perfection! It was so great for our family of 5. There were beach chairs, beach toys, and board games. The home was very well laid out to optimize the space. The living room and dining room/kitchen had enough room for us to have an additional 5 family members over. The home is extremely clean and comfortable. The pool is very close by (just about 6 houses down the lane,) as was the beach. We would 100% stay here again.

We had a lovely vacation. This house was very near the beach and a couple of restaurants, so we were able to walk. We were also able to bike to most of the locations we wanted to visit. We were very comfortable and had room to cook, eat, rest, and play games while enjoying the area. The home was just as it was advertised, and we would recommend this stay to other family and friends.

Ocean Oaks 16A Seaside Retreat

We had a wonderful week on Jekyll Island! This unit is perfectly located in a quiet neighborhood. It is beautifully furnished with plenty of room for the whole family. There is a pool and a delightful boardwalk that leads directly to the beach. We took nightly walks along the beach with our little “red” lights and even saw a Loggerhead Turtle coming up to lay her eggs. That was definitely a highlight for the family. There are all sorts of activities and restaurants for the entire family within minutes of this rental. There are a couple unusual things to note. The screened in front porch is shared with the next door rental unit. This seemed a little weird having strangers in the same space we used and constantly walking past our front door. Also you need to come prepared to stock your own toilet paper, shower soap/gel, shampoo, paper towels, laundry detergent, trash bags, etc. We typically stay in Airbnb’s coast to coast and this was a first for us.

Such a beautiful home in a gorgeous neighborhood. The area was quiet and very scenic. Large driveway with garage access. Large, spacious home with lots of room to spread out. Plenty of storage options for clothes, etc. Comfortable furniture. Stunning bathroom with soaking tub, a massive shower, giant walk-in closet, double sinks, separate toilet. The home was stocked with everything we could need. Loved having ice and clean water readily available via the ice-maker and water dispenser in the refrigerator. Large TV in family room. Big, grassy backyard was perfect for our dog. Huyen and her husband Scott were great; so kind and very helpful. We appreciate them for our wonderful stay in Brunswick. Would choose this home again!

This is our 2nd stay at Turtle Cove. We love staying at this condo. It has all the amenities that we could need. Both times it has been exceptionally clean. It is a great location to all activities on SSI. The outdoor shower is perfect after a day at the beach. I loved being able to take a walk in the mornings on the sidewalk just outside the complex. We can not wait to return.
