What a beautiful and well maintained home! The setting was so peaceful, and we found ourselves staring out the window a lot. We were surrounded by nature but grocery stores, etc., were just ten minutes away. The house was perfect for our small family's Thanksgiving. I would definitely rent again and can imagine the home is lovely in warm weather as well. Lesley was very communicative, proactive, and helpful.

I had such a fantastic experience staying at this Airbnb! The home was exactly as described—clean, cozy, and beautifully decorated. The location was perfect—close to everything I needed, but still quiet and peaceful for a relaxing getaway. Waking up and drinking coffee with the beautiful view of Candlewood lake was breathtaking. The host was incredibly welcoming and responsive. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend anyone to stay here. I would also recommend you to take your boat or even rent one near by,absolutely incredible!!!

Quaker Hill Cottage was the perfect getaway from the city. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at peace. The welcome basket was such a sweet and thoughtful touch. The bed was unbelievably comfortable. It was the first time in forever that I got a great night’s sleep. We cooked dinner and enjoyed drinks by the fire. Every little detail was wonderful. The shower was luxurious. In the morning we had breakfast outside on the terrace. Can’t wait to come back!

Spectacular view of the lake. We enjoyed the use of the kayaks and all the games at the cottage. You have to cross a busy road to go to the dock, but it’s worth the price. The cottage was clean. Beds were comfortable. Such a beautiful area to visit!
