The loveliest hosts I’ve ever encountered. Sai and his family were so accomodating. Perfect place to stay if you are catching a flight from Heathrow.

Having stayed in the cabin last year, we booked again knowing how amazing it was previously. We were not disappointed and once again had a great time. We even played more games of pool this time! Very convenient for Heathrow airport where we were picking up very early the following morning.

Definitely book if you want to use the trains for travel as is extremely convenient for that. I have to say the beds where incredibly comfortable and I need to know where the mattress and pillows are from, so that I can get them for my home! Spacious and clean, just what we needed for a city break with friends!

Its actually the Thames lodge hotel that's the building you're after, parking was easy , pay at the check in desk, we stay overnight for a trip to thorpe park which was literally 10 mins drive away , rooms was quite modern in a quirky old building with character, the hotel has no lift so anyone that might need a lift probably book a ground floor room, also I've noticed the hot water was not very hot but Luke warm but that's ok, I love that each room has a quirky name to it, I believe long ago the old mayor's use it as a living & working quarters , didn't eat in the restaurant but seem very nice & relaxing place to have a meal, plenty of restaurants within a 5 mins walk away in the town. Reception staff was very helpful & professional, I would stay again if I ever went back to the area.
