Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Spean Bridge

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans ce logement. Tout était propre à notre arrivée. Nous avons apprécié l'emplacement et le calme des lieux, loin des bruits de la ville. Il est proche de la ville d'Oban pour faire les courses et des activités. Nous avons aimé voir des animaux dans le pré, devant le balcon (lièvres, chevaux et oiseaux). Le lit était très confortable. Le logement etait bien équipé. Jo et Rory ont été très accueillants et soucieux de notre bien-être durant le séjour. Nous n'hésiterons pas à revenir si nous revenons dans la région.

We booked this place to climb Ben Nevis which was just over an hour away. Really nice house and quite a peaceful area with great views, would definitely recommend. Thanks

Anna's place was perfect in every way regarding location, facilities, cleanliness and comfort. Although the owners live next door we very much had our own space and privacy. Peaceful setting for sitting outdoors listening to the bird song. We identified 12 different species (with the help of an app!). The eggs provided by the resident hens were delicious. We would happily book here again if in the area.

The cottage was beautifully and thoughtfully presented. Living, dining and sleeping spaces were large, wonderfully furnished and comfortable. Appliances were spotless and of high quality. A welcome package of milk, fresh orange juice, eggs, bread, butter and bottled water was left. Georgina was the perfect host, responding quickly to questions or queries and checking in with us on the second day of our visit to make sure that we were settled. Georgina’s eye for interior design was evident. For people travelling with dogs it should be noted, (that as mentioned in the property listing), the outside space is limited to a paved courtyard, probably not secure for smaller dogs. The property manual does provide details of how to reach walks by foot. We didn’t try either of these despite the short distance we would have had to walk on the road to reach them. We travelled expecting to drive to wooded areas to walk our boys. I’m sure we’ll be back! Thank you 😊

Our stay - 7 adults, 2 children ranging from 8-70yrs with varying health & mobility needs & 2 dogs. This house was just perfect. Situated just up from Banavie, a short drive into Fort William which was our ideal holiday destination. The house was lovely and spacious, lending itself to great socialising & family meals together. The rooms were all nicely presented, with comfy beds, wash basins & plenty of storage. It was ideal having a double bedroom with ensuite downstairs which provided comfort & ease to the grandparents. The house came equipped with everything you could possibly need, a real home from home experience. Our hosts have been amazing, from taking delivery of the oxygen, prior to arrival, to giving tractor rides and entertaining the children playing on the digger. They were on hand if needed. We also got to meet the animals. Spot the lamb, Clive the horse, Hamish the beautiful black doggie & would often see some ducks in the garden too. Well worth a stay! We will return.

David's place was our favourite during this one week holiday in Scotland. The location is amazing and seeing the water from the livingroom and bedroom windows was wonderful. However, what made it stand apart from other accommodations was the interior design: every single space inside the house is tasteful and cosy, and we felt at home from the moment we walked in. Everything was clean and the quality of towels, soaps and shower gels are five star hotel level. David and Amanda are great hosts, very friendly and thoughtful, and it is evident that the comfort of their guests is their priority - also, we were delighted to meet them in person. We were sorry to leave after only one day there and will be happy to go back when next in Scotland.

Calum and Linda's place was spotlessly clean; everything in there was very comfortable and all the necessities were in there for an enjoyable stay. It's a very short drive to Fort William's main street, where pubs/shops etc are - Ben Nevis can be seen from just about everywhere there, so ideal for anyone who wants to go walking/hiking.

Wir waren vier Tage bei Kathryn, und haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Die Zimmer sind schön eingerichtet, alles war blitzsauber. Kathryn hat uns gar schon etwas in den Kühlschrank gestellt, das hat uns sehr gefreut. Die Kommunikation lief bestens, Kathryn war super hilfsbereit. Es waren tolle Tage in den Highlands.

Great accommodation , very clean and homely . Location spot on for walking into town and the views spectacular. Instructions were very detailed and easy to use . Had a wonderful stay and would return at any time . Thanks

Alles war zu unserer vollsten Zufriedenheit. Wir haben gut in den Betten geschlafen. Die Küche war gut ausgestattet. Alles war sehr sauber. Die Lage ist wirklich toll. Vor allem geprägt durch eine unglaubliche Ruhe. Direkt vom Haus weg kann man schöne Wanderungen starten in absolut ruhiger und naturbelassener Gegend. Danke!

Wir wurden von Janet sehr herzlich begrüßt. Sie zeigte uns die Wohnung und hatte und auf Ausflugsziele hingewiesen. Die Wohnung war sehr gut ausgestattet, uns hat nichts gefehlt. Über das frisch von ihr gebackene, sehr lecker Brot, Marmelade, Milch und Schokolade haben wir uns sehr gefreut. Leider waren wir nur drei Nächte dort. Ich hätte stundenlang aus dem Fenster schauen und das Wetter beobachten können. Ich kann die Unterkunft sehr empfehlen und würde jederzeit wieder mieten.

Everything about our stay in the boys dormitory was superb. We would highly recommend to anyone looking for a stay in such a unique accommodation especially with all of the access to the abbeys modern facilities was a huge bonus. Me and my wife couldn’t get enough of the lake views from our sitting room.

Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit der Unterkunft. Florence ist sehr zuvorkommend und hat uns in einer ungewöhnlichen Situation sehr ausgeholfen. Vielen Dank nochmal. :) Alles war sehr sauber und ordentlich und die Betten bequem. Wir können die Wohnung sehr weiterempfehlen.

A really nice cottage in an absolutely stunning location. Easy to find and get into the property from the instructions sent through by Robert and Lin. Inside they'd left a list of local places to eat and other useful information about the local area. The rooms were all clean with towels and bedding provided and the kitchen had everything needed for any length of stay. About 5 minutes drive from Lochcarron where you can get food and fuel. Had a great stay and would highly recommend this accommodation and the hosts.

We had an excellent stay at Cobblerview Apartment! The view was, of course, gorgeous - but the care that Carol & Don took in ensuring our stay was comfortable was greatly appreciated and made our experience especially enjoyable. The apartment is cosy and immediately inviting, with a sizable living room space and dining table positioned next to the window and looking out onto Loch Long. Though the view you have of the loch itself is expansive, we never felt as though we didn’t have enough privacy - aside from this window out onto the water, almost all of the natural light that filters in is through skylights. We never needed for utensils or utilities, Carol & Don provided a full range of crockery, cleaning supplies and towels It’s worth bearing in mind that as this is a waterfront property, the bugs are in abundance around summer and you’ll need to have your spray on if you want to sit out on the balcony this time of year!

Super accueil, avec une superbe maison paisible, propre, on se croirait chez nous. avec un panier rempli de spécialités ecossaisses. Richard est très réactif. la région est magnifique. Nous reviendrons.

Nice stay for one night as we were passing through town. Comfortable for my family of 4. Easy to get in and we drove into town for dinner and breakfast.

A fabulous location for a couple of days in fort William, especially if you like seeing the Jacobite steam train. Wonderful helpful and responsive host, and they provided everything we needed. Our dogs loved the secure patio as they are much more relaxed when they can pop out without having to go on a lead

The place was as described. Good location for things around Fort William. Not far from the city center and with very good parking for a car. Would go there again.
