Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Scotland

Jordan & Stephanie were amazing hosts! My girlfriend and I enjoyed our stay and appreciated their warm welcome and tips around the area. We found that the property was very well maintained and absolutely pristine!!

Beams Cottage is stunning. The views across the bay are delightful. We spent most mornings sitting outside staring at the sea, the mountains and the little islands. Our 5 1/2 year old son loved looking for boats and birds. Stephanie & Jordan were fabulous hosts and provided helpful info to make our stay smooth. They provided great local recommendations and the house was stocked with lovely design oriented books and magazines about Scotland and Skye. The space itself is comfortable and thoughtfully decorated. The beds were great, the bathrooms well-appointed, the kitchen was fully stocked and there was plenty of room for a group of 3 to 4 to comfortably enjoy the space. Coming back after a day's adventures felt like returning home. Only slight quibble was how bright the loft was in the am. Little kiddos may arise early! The location is gorgeous, but fairly remote to many parts of the island. So be prepared to drive a bit. Happily, the drive to the main road is spectacular.

Great location! What a view, was very fun having the horse and lil pony friend hanging around, good company! The place was well equipt for all cooking and very easy to be in! Would recomend to anyone! Also a great location for lots of day trips!

Really lovely large house in a beautiful setting, perfect for dog walks and with access to the coast. Huge garden with multiple lovely seating areas.

Georgina’s property is stunning with really beautiful decor and soft furnishings. The house is very spacious and works brilliantly with two families having two big bedrooms both with en-suites. The kitchen is wonderfully equipped with quality fixtures and fittings, we all enjoyed cooking in this lovely space! The drawing room is spacious and comfortable a sofa big enough for four is a rare find! Georgina’s personal touches with fresh flowers in the bedrooms and hallway was lovely, not to mention the fresh milk, bread, orange juice and shortbread /jams etc. Thank you Georgina for all your great recommendations and help we loved our time here and hope to be back!

Beautiful views across Loch Dunvegan to the Outer Hebrides. Immaculate cottage which is comfortable & peaceful. We watched dolphins playing in the Loch in the evening.

this was our second stay at Linda & David's wonderful holiday home the Silo. it's absolutely amazing,relaxing with amazing views. Linda & David are very friendly plus very helpful,the hot tub is relaxing in any weather(especially rain 😄),very clean,warm & cosy just what you need to relax & recharge your batteries. hopefully next year we might get some sunshine & sit out on the balcony for breakfast(dry will do). highly recommend the Silo for a relaxing break in amazing surroundings

An absolutely wonderful annex apartment - close to centre with off road parking. Well furnished kitchen to allow cooking in. Lovely bathroom and comfy bed. Everything is to a good standard and well maintained. I hope to stay again when next in the area. Good value and a nice friendly host.

Perfect place to visit Edinburgh. A stone's throw from the center and equipped with all comforts. We had a great time and recommend it to everyone!

We really enjoyed our stay, meeting the family, working sheepdogs and family pets. We were told where and when the best time to view the wild beavers, in the river at the end of their drive, and we were delighted to see several swimming there.

What a fantastic stay! The most beautiful cottage with everything we needed, even some breakfast for our first morning. The setting was magical and so many stunning walks around. We will definitely be back! Elizabeth was so kind in showing us all we needed to know and providing information about must see's in the area. We also loved little Mindy who came for cuddles :)

Highly recommend a stay at The Bay. The location right on the beach is fantastic with picture perfect scenery as far as the eye can see. Accomodation was probably the best equipped we have ever stayed in (special little touches from torches to tupperwares) and a thoughtful welcome pack was a nice surprise. Carol was a communicative host offering us an early check in, greeting us on arrival and messaged us on the eve of our departure to offer a late check out. A perfect stay from beginning to end.

Absolutely stunning accommodation. The view is breathtaking and very comfortable and well furnished. Huge bed, extremely comfortable sofa and footstool in front of the log burning stove. Pristine bathroom and well appointed kitchen area. Despite having neighbours, very private as you are not overlooked at all even with the outdoor space and have private entrance. Would highly recommend as a bucket list worthy place to stay!

We loved our stay at Cobbler View. The setting was beautiful and such a lovely place to come back to after a day exploring. The accommodation was clean and cosy and very well equipped. Carol and Don were excellent hosts and welcomed us on arrival but left us to enjoy our stay. We knew they were available if we needed them. Thank you!

Yeah got to be honest , Patricia was a blast. Very relaxed human being with great communication skills. This Lady is well versed in her local community, offering great advice on nearby and local places of interest. The accommodation was suitable to our needs and Patricia happily welcomed both of us and our 2 Dogs... The accommodation is fully equipped and there's a Costa & Subway literally next door , walking distance 30 feet/2 minutes. House is easy to locate as it's to the right of the local Petrol Station. Morrisons and Co-op walkable and can be reached in under 10 minutes from accommodation. When the tide is out and if you take your dog , your dog is going to be very happy indeed. There is a garden in the rear of the building that your free to use too. All in all a very pleasant experience. Thank you Patricia for the warm and welcome reception , the (still warm) home made bread , the fresh butter and milk. All very welcoming after a long drive...

This is a lovely place to stay with amazing views over the water. It was spotlessly clean and nicely decorated. We were able to park outside no problem and took a bus in to Dundee for the day- there is a bus stop on the street. Would love to come back on a sunny day and sit outside in the garden and look out to the water. There are a lot of steps to the property and in the back garden so probably would not be ideal for anyone with mobility issues but for us it was great.

Both Linda and George were excellent hosts. Friendly, well predisposed, in short: excellent. As for the property, it is very comfortable and pleasant, and it brings a lot of peace to those who stay there. I would definitely visit them again!

Jill is a wonderful host. Such a lovely place and we felt very welcomed and cared for. Woodside is a very interesting house to stay in. The views are amazing and the house is spacious and very well equipped. Jill is very thoughtful host who goes the extra mile in providing really nice snacks. Cove is a very relaxing and peaceful place to stay. We really didn’t want to leave! Thanks so much Jill!

The Butler's Basement is one of my top 3 Airbnbs. The space was fabulous, the area superb to local attractions, and transportation and restaurant options plentiful. I immediately felt at home, thanks to Gemma and James-Lachlan. My travel ans hit a snafu and they couldn't have been more accommodating. I will definitely be back soon!

One of the most, (if not the most), beautifully located places we’ve ever stayed. The house was spotless and well-equipped with amenities. Rosie was a brilliant host and quick to respond whenever we needed anything. I'm so glad we decided here rather than staying in the town, which we were at first considering. Can't recommend this place enough!

We had a wonderful stay at Kayt & David’s place! It was absolutely spotless and so well stocked with anything and everything we could have needed for the weekend, including some really thoughtful touches like croissants, milk and the famous Tunnocks tea cakes! The views over the garden and hills were gorgeous. It was so easy to find and access when we arrived, parking was available right outside on the street and there is a cute pub with some great food right across the street. The bathroom and kitchen were in fantastic condition and supplied with everything we could have needed for a comfortable stay. There were lots of instructions around the place so we were never stuck working out what to do with appliances etc. We had a brilliant time and hope to return one day!
