Note: Our property has recently been cleaned up after Hurricane Helene. The town of Hendersonville and Asheville are all open and many favorite spots have reopened. Cozy home with full kitchen and full bath located on a tree covered drive. This one bedroom house is your own private oasis. Idle Speed- The Ultimate Lake Lure Escape!

As of now, Lake Lure is not expected to be open for boating and/or swimming by summer 2025 as lake recovery and cleanup efforts are still ongoing. However, our home is good to go and ready to host. We have just reduced our rates and minimum booking nights to reflect the expected conditions. The house remains a wonderful place for gathering and creating memories. The lake and mountains are still as beautiful as ever. Thank you for your continued support of such a special small town.
