Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Southwold

We stayed at 6 Blyth View for one week as a family and we throughly recommend it to anyone looking for a lovely getaway in a peaceful location. The cottage is part of a lovely estate in a very peaceful and thoughtfully designed setting with amazing grounds overlooking fields to the East so you can stunning sunset views. It’s a short drive from wonderful Southwold and several neighbouring villages with great pubs offering decent food options as well as lovely drives to explore the surrounding areas. The cottage is perfectly equipped with all facilities working perfectly, a very well equipped kitchen, comfortable bedrooms offering plenty of storage space plus a perfect living room space and indoor and outdoor dining. Parking is situated close to the property. In addition, the (bookable timeslots) gym, swimming pool and games room were much fun and we very much enjoyed. Highly recommend this property and thank you to the attentive host for great support and communication when needed 🙏🏼

The food was a lovely surprise! Thank you. The toiletries were amazing too (they smell divine!). Very comfortable to relax and sleep. Really hope to come again and stay longer next time! So much more to explore!

Can’t recommend Sonya’s place highly enough, fabulous location with beautiful walks, the broads and pubs and restaurants as well as parks and cafes in easy walking distance. Lots more to do within a short drive too. Very clean, thoughtful touches, comfy beds and sofa, table and chairs front and back for sun morning and evening, everything we needed to hand. Sonya was really responsive and helpful too. Thank you for a wonderful stay, hope to be back soon.

We had the most wonderful time staying at The Little Barn in Topcroft. It is a well kept and comfortable cottage, with all the amenities you could want. We loved the location as it is tucked out of the way of the busiest areas but still well connected to the coast and towns/cities for trips out. Hannah is a superb host who will go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and settled (providing us with some delicious home made apple juice too!). We will definitely be returning and would recommend!

Just finished a very relaxing few days and it was everything we could have hoped for. Stunning view and so peaceful! Caravan had everything we needed. Spotless and clean. Spacious apartment above shop in the high street. Over the road from the Adnams shop and a few steps from various lovey bakeries. Really comfortable beds and lounge. Steep stairs to the top floor where twin beds and second double-bed are.

Lovely flat with really nice fixtures and fittings. Owners very responsive. Easy acces via key box and clear instruction. Great base if you want to see North Norfolk. If you don't, it's a very good location with pubs and takeaways within short walking distance.

Excellent stay at Judith's apartment. I've stayed on a number of occasions and the apartment is always presented in immaculate condition. Central location is very beneficial. Guaranteed I'll be returning.

Lovely flat. Spotlessly clean, walking distance to the town centre and has parking! Cindy left clear instructions for everything and even had folders of local things to do and takeaway menus. Would highly recommend.

This is by far the best place to explore Woodbridge from and it has parking - right in the centre of town! Clean, well equipped and ultra convenient. We always stay here or 6f if it is available, when we visit Woodbridge.

A lovely peaceful spot with pleasant village walk to the river from the door, as well as easy access to the main road. The accommodation was very comfortable with everything we needed and felt homely and clean. The riverside location was lovely, although rather more overgrown than shown on the pictures. Would definitely stay again.

The location of Viv's flat was a great base for exploring East Suffolk without having to travel miles. Framlingham, Aldeburgh and Southwold were all in easy reach. The flat had everything we needed. It was small, but didn’t feel at all cramped and was exactly as described. We loved the position looking on to the churchyard at the back. Viv and her husband were charming hosts and very helpful with suggestions for places to visit. We had a lovely time!

A super apartment within easy walking distance of the train station, restaurants and all of the attraction Norwich has to offer. The apartment is really cosy with a very comfortable bed and well equipped kitchen. Access is really secure and easy. Although I had no need for a parking space, this is a great service that the apartment offers. Highly recommended!

First time using Airbnb and we hit the jackpot with Sarah. Visiting our Son at University, the Flat was a great base. Very reasonably priced, quiet location, free parking. The flat was clean and comfortable. Sarah was very informative and quick to respond to any messages.

We had such a lovely stay. The flat is very clean, nicely decorated and the outdoor area is beautiful. The sauna was fab and we loved taking a dip in the water. Would definitely stay again!

We really enjoyed our stay. The location is so central and walkable from all the great spots in Norwich.

The annex was easy to find with clear, helpful instructions. The surroundings were lovely and all the facilities were just as described, absolutely great. We had a fantastic nights sleep ready for our onward journey. There were lovely little extras waiting for us on arrival and one beautiful dog, Mabel who came over for cuddles. Had a great few days’ stay in Annetta’s house – loved the character of the place and surrounding gardens. The accommodation was very clean, comfortable and spacious. Annetta is extremely friendly and helpful and her contact beforehand was very good. Nice touches include the hot tub and breakfast bits in the fridge. This is an ideal location to relax and explore the coast and inland. I would definitely recommend and intend to return to explore more of the area. Many thanks!

We had a lovely stay at Helen’s place near Oulton Broad for 3 nights with the kids and the dog. Lovely little attention to detail with dog treats and dog bowls left out, also some treats for the humans. Thanks!
