There are not enough words to describe how beautiful, scenic, and quiet this place was. John was extremely communicative and responded quickly to any questions I had. The directions and instructions were helpful and clear. The home is tucked away from the center of town which made it so relaxing. The home has a woodsy modern home feel to it that is just incredible. The decor and furniture was comfortable and stylish. The hot tub was so nice and relaxing. It felt like you were in the middle of the woods. The home has everything you could possibly need when visiting Idyllwild. I had the perfect getaway here.

This is one of those true gems you’re absolutely stoked to stumble upon. The minute we drove down the country lane and saw the house, my wife and I knew we had found a truly magical getaway. We both agree it’s one of the top three homes/properties we’ve had the pleasure of experiencing! Every square inch of the property is amazing. The house is beautiful. The kitchen is stocked and perfect for those who enjoy cooking. We cooked three of the four nights because we just loved the atmosphere and views so much! Our four year old absolutely loved exploring the trails, pond and backyard. The hot tub was in perfect condition. Rare! The awesome fire-pit on the balcony was perfect for making smores and staying warm while listening to the frogs sing while stargazing. We played games, watched movies and just had a perfect long weekend. The worst part was having to say goodbye! It was so peaceful, it’s going to be hard to beat such a good nights rest. Another week would have been nice!

Beautifully decorated cabin, in a remote and peaceful location. Only a short drive from big supermarkets and also Joshua Tree National park. Was a great base for exploring and also staying in and relaxing :)

Josh and Dons place was exactly as the pictures appeared. It was the cleanest and one of the nicest places I have ever stayed at through Airbnb! You will not be disappointed. I appreciated their house manual as well and the food recommendation for the Joshua hookah lounge did not disappoint! We enjoyed the proximity to Joshua tree national park and the quiet atmosphere around the property. Truly a place to relax and disconnect from all the other distractions of life.

We had a fantastic stay! The house was beautifully and authentically decorated, very clean, and had everything we needed. The pool offered an amazing view, and the whirlpool was clean and perfect for relaxing. The host was incredibly kind and always available – communication was quick and easy. We had the most amazing weekend! This Airbnb truly has it all. The kitchen is fully stocked with beautiful appliances, the landscaping is pristine, and the cabin design is thoughtfully curated for a peaceful retreat by the river. I was genuinely sad to leave. The hosts go above and beyond to ensure guests have everything they need to fully enjoy this idyllic setting. I went with a group of friends, and we were all impressed by how well-maintained the space was. It's clear the hosts are experts at providing a top-notch experience. We’ll definitely be back!

Excellent stay, very proactive and responsive hosts. Just far enough out of town to feel private, but close enough to palm springs to "go out". The cabin itself was SUPER neat.

I had a wonderful stay at this adorable cabin. I spent most of my getaway by myself and I felt safe and incredibly cozy the entire time. The surroundings are beautiful and so is the cabin itself. Alexa and her team are THE BEST. I had questions before and during my stay and they were uniquely kind and responsive each time I reached out. I was so impressed that I’ve made note of the other properties they manage for future reference. The cabin is bright and spacious and has everything you need to feel at home. It was EXTREMELY clean. The town village and lake are minutes away and there are trails to walk nearby as well. I was surrounded by nature but had all the “modern” comforts I needed. The grocery store is nearby and I was able to make all my meals in the cabin’s fully stocked kitchen. The water in the super clean bathroom was instantly hot and I thoroughly enjoyed my showers. Every surface in the cabin was dust and clutter free. I am so thankful for this stay. Thank you!

One word, AWESOME! As soon as you walk in you feel at home, from the ambiance to even the smell of the house. It helped make you forgot all of life’s stresses and live in the moment, enjoy the amazing views, and family bonding. The cabin itself was really clean, smelled great, well equipped kitchen with everything you would need and more, comfortable beds, couches, closet full of board games, and can’t forget the pac-man game. Outside they have string lighting, with outdoor sectional with a propane outdoor firepit to relax and enjoy the outdoors. The jacuzzi feels amazing especially after a busy day exploring. The cabin is near local hikes, local village with souvenirs shops and places to eat. Overall my experience here was great, the host were fast to respond and also included a small book of local recommendations which was very helpful.

This home fully lived up to the high ratings and reviews. It's a beautiful location, and the interiors are well appointed and stylish, without feeling precious. As a family with a large dog, we were especially grateful to have such a lovely home with a fenced in yard that allowed us all to travel together. Aside from the house itself, Stephanie was an incredibly responsive host and responded immediately to any questions that came up. Overall, a delightful stay at a beautiful property, we would absolutely love to return.

This place was perfect in every way. Staying on the vineyard was luxurious and relaxing. When you turn off the main highway, you know you entering somewhere special. Everyone in the area is involved in agriculture. There is a diverse variety of mostly small farms. The tiny house was really fun and private. It has everything you need on a small scale, yet it feels very comfortable. The highlight was definitely the giant windows by the bed. You open the windows in the morning and you are about 10 feet from grape vines. At night and in the morning, you can hear the birds on the farm. It is very quiet with the windows closed, but we kept them open because I like the animal sounds. At night, the grounds are teaming with the sounds of life. This isn’t the four seasons, and it doesn’t try to be. I have never stayed somewhere like this before, but I loved every aspect of it. I will stay here again and it was a good price. I know it is a little different, but give it a shot, it is amazing

Royya’s place reminds me why I started staying in Airbnbs forever ago. It’s the person style, the details and personal touches you can’t find in hotels that give you a glimpse into a world you might not have ever known. Royya space was cleaner than any hotel. Outside there was a plant in bloom that filled the air with a floral fragrance that was a subtle, sweet reminder I was no longer in the city. In either direction the house is about 30 minutes to both Palm Springs and Joshua Tree. Which was perfect. It’s a location that is both isolated and yet still surrounded by places to go and people to see. The space itself is open and airy with everything a person could need. The drive in was fine for me. I have an off roading vehicle but I wonder how a car lower to the ground would handle the bumpy dirt roads. All in all an incredible place to stay and an experience I’ll never forget. I would definitely recommend.

The pictures don’t do it justice! My husband and I did a last minute staycation and Finch Hatton (as it is named) happened to be available! Sunni’s cabin was EXACTLY what we were looking for. Everything was simply perfect. You can tell in all the little details that this is Sunni’s passion. If you are thinking is it worth the price the answer is YES! We are just in love with this quiet slice of heaven and hope to return one day for another restful stay 💜 If you’re thinking about purchasing food made to order, we can attest to Sunni’s excellent culinary skills. Great , vintage style house that feels like spending the night at your grandmas house when you were 8. The location is perfect for people wanting to get away from big cities and create art.

Jill’s Wander Wild cabin was everything we were hoping for and more. It was fully stocked, and quiet and only minutes from town. The hot tub was wonderful, the bed was comfy and we absolutely loved listening to nature on the deck and drinking coffee in the mornings. We did a puzzle, listened to some music and just enjoyed the surroundings while we fell in love with the town. We will certainly be back if she’ll have us!

Such a relaxing environment! And when we wanted to be active, hiking trails abound - our favorite was the Ernie Maxwell Scenic Trail. I especially enjoyed having my morning coffee outdoors. Many birds, especially woodpeckers, were active. Sunset over the San Bernardino Forest is marvelous! The plants along the walkway to the hot tub reveal intentionality and a desire to make the entire property unique. The gentle breeze and cool temperatures enhance the experience! GREAT view and great kitchen! Eadt check in, safe place! Note: I strongly recommend you go on Google maps and see the driveway before showing up, it made pulling into the house much easier!
