Holiday rentals with a balcony in Southern California

Fantastic place to stay with a large group, and a great location! Cheap lyfts to the gas lamp and airport. Right by Balboa Park and walkable to several wonderful restaurants. The apartments were very clean and had all amenities we'd need. The hosts were very organized. Highly recommended!

The location was great, close to many restaurants and shops, great ocean breeze, great ocean view from the room, beautiful grounds, and 5 minutes from my sons house on Camp Pendleton!

We’ve stayed in Airbnb’s all over the world and Luis and Wade’s place was the BEST one we’ve ever stayed in! The location is in a very walkable, safe, and convenient part of San Diego (Hillcrest). The unit was spotlessly clean, with all that we needed to feel comfortable- extra blankets, charging spots galore, plenty of kitchen supplies, etc). Although we didn’t get the chance to take full advantage of the zen garden, Wade does an amazing job of maintaining it! The laundry facilities were super convenient to have for our 5 day trip. We will absolutely be returning on our next trip to San Diego! The neighborhood is very quiet! The garage was a tight fit but manageable in our mid-size rental so don’t lose hope if it seems like it won’t fit! We had the pleasure of meeting Wade and it’s so clear how hands on he is with his property (not always common with Airbnb hosts). 11/10 would recommend!!!!

Stayed a weekend with my 3 year old and 6 month old! Everything was as listed and the place was easy to find. Small beach with soft sand is a 4 min drive or 15 min walk. Daughter loved the sand! There were so many food options and coffee that was walking distance. Everything else if needed was within 10 min drive so that was convenient. Would come back again since it was such a convenient location too! Aja was very nice and communicated with me the entire trip. Place was clean and had everything needed.

Our stay in Paso was amazing thanks to this beautiful perfectly located condo! More spacious than we expected with a huge beautiful bathroom. So many restaurants and shops in the area and the square right outside our front door!

We received the house immaculately. The house really provided comfort and ease of use beyond what we needed. The location was incredibly good. Walking distance to grocery store, shopping and center. It'll be the first option we'll look back next year

Stayed here on a work trip and it’s a fantastic place to stay whether you’re staying for work or pleasure. Apartment is clean and super quiet. Pool & spa are also a plus! Thanks Drew for an awesome stay

Udo’s property offered light, spacious rooms with beautiful decor, off-street parking and short walks to restaurants, beach, bluff (morning yoga), a farmer’s market, grocery store, bakeries, etc. We dined in the garden, on our balcony and inside where plants were literally works of art with unique display of textures, varieties, shapes and colors. Everything from the laundry room and bookshelves to closets and bathroom were well stocked and well maintained. Enjoyed many personal touches such as biscotti and fresh flowers. Outdoor activities work supported by bicycles, beach towels, folding chairs, a yoga mat, and even binoculars, as well as more common conveniences. We highly recommend Udo’s lovely property and hope to revisit next winter.

Property was just as described and more. Perfect location for our needs, communication with hosts was easy and helpful. Would luv to stay again if back in area. Thanks for a great stay🙏🏼

Location can’t be beat if you want a nice base for exploring all the shops and restaurants in Silver Lake. Tucked back in a quiet neighborhood but just 10-15 minutes (walking) away from all the cute stuff. Apartment was adorable and very small. Ideal for 1 person, but got a little tricky to navigate where to put luggage etc for 2 people. I think the space above this one is also an Airbnb, and there was a good amount of walking around upstairs, but nothing major. That said I’d stay here again!

This was an amazing place to stay for 2 couples. We were able to meet up with our parents, visit our grandmother who is local, and explore the area with ease. The home is beautiful and well worth the money. Amazing neighborhood that was nice and quiet. Will definitely be back!

I spent 3 nights at Melissa's place with my wife, my daughter and my 14 month old grandson. It was everything that we expected and more. The house was perfect for us. It is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The bedrooms were well laid out and the beds were very comfortable. It was nice having 2 bathrooms, both with showers and one with a bathtub as well. The kitchen had everything we needed (and more!) We loved the neighborhood! It was so convenient for walking for everything we needed. There were quite a few choices for coffee shops in the morning and lots of great restaurants nearby. We had a wonderful take out dinner from Pine and Crane. Melissa was a great host and we would love to stay at her place again! -Peter

We had a wonderful stay at Bianca’s place. She was exceptionally responsive and helpful whenever we reached out to her. The place is exactly as it is described. We particularly enjoyed being able to walk to so many great restaurants. Also, Pavillions (supermarket) is a short walk to pick up supplies. We would book this again!

This house was BEAUTIFUL. So unique and charming…everything was well planned out with instructions across the house and was stocked with everything we could want/need. Also, f we had any questions Lucinda was very responsive! The location is close to downtown, the Zoo, the farmers market, great restaurants, the sunset cliffs, beaches and more. The only thing I would warn is that it is also close to the airport, so planes fly right over the house so if you are sensitive to loud noises or weary, plan ahead! All in all, an amazing stay, couldn’t recommend enough!

My family and I were forced to evacuate our home due to the Los Angeles fires and were in search of a comfortable, clean, and safe place to ride out such a stressful time. Jill's home not only met those standards, but exceeded them. The home is absolutely lovely. We especially enjoyed the privacy the beautiful landscaping offers, the extra cozy couches and beds, and conveniently walkable location. Jill as a host was just as accommodating as her place. She was easy to communicate with, attentive, and understanding. We are really appreciative of both her and the stay she provided. If it weren't so booked, we'd happily have stayed for longer.

Definitely recommend this house as an option if youre looking for a good peaceful fun time in the pool and or have a hang out in the back while doing some bbq! The place more then served every one of our needs and Kylee was a great host! Very quick to respond and had the place set up to make it feel like home away from home. Thank you Kylee once again we loved our stay and will miss your couches as they were the best weve ever lounged on!

I would highly recommend! Great location with beautiful views. Very nice and clean with all amenities listed. I can get noisy from the airport, but you can't hear much with the windows and doors closed. Overall, 5 stars and will be rebooking soon!

I've stayed at Sandra's condo at the beach several times. I love the peacefulness of the space. The colors are relaxing and the location is very quiet. The parking space in the parking garage is super close to the condo which is really helpful. And there's a great view of Oceanside Harbor from the patio. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. With lots of walking paths and easy access to the beach. The community is gated which gives a nice feel of safety. It's an easy walk to Mission Blvd where there are many shops and restaurants available. It's also an easy walk to the Harbor with many more restaurants, especially if you like seafood. I look forward to my next stay at Sandra's place!

What an AMAZING place! Desiree has thought of absolutely everything to make your stay perfect. Our contact/host (Shannon) was he best - she communicated with us every step of the way to be sure our stay was seamless. She met us at the place and gave us all the details. Bigger Fish is a dream location but the house itself is set up beautifully - to the crisp clean linens and dreamy beds, the very clean floors bathrooms and well stocked kitchen, lovely decor, and really amazing upper deck - this place has it all. We will be back!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay from the start to finish. The place was clean, had everything we needed, free of clutter, spacious and just a short walk over to the beach. We liked being a little away from the more crowded areas and noise that you find closer to the pier. We enjoyed walking and bike riding down to the restaurants/ shops. The garage parking space was spacious enough to fit our truck which was super helpful and we easily found street parking for our other car. The washer and dryer was definitely a nice plus. She has everything you need to enjoy your time at the beach as well. We will definitely try and stay here again in the future if vacationing down at Newport.

This is my third time staying at the suites. They are always super helpful and communicative. Great location. Nice and comfy. There were a few things little things that could use a bit of refresh but it wasn’t enough to affect my overall stay or my rating. I live in LA, so this is a great little get away. Will definitely be back. Seeing the dolphins from the deck is always a treat!

We just departed after a second exceptional stay at Nikki’s desert gem. This apartment has such a great location on the property, and beds are so comfortable. Nikki was easily reachable and accommodating, and the apt was equipped with everything we needed to cook some tasty meals, enjoy the many pools and relax. You can’t beat that mountain view from the deck!

It was a great place, good proximity to the Oceano Dunes, nice view of the ocean from the bedroom. Very clean, nicely decorated. Easy check in and check out instructions.

Very comfortable and clean condo. We loved that the ocean was so accessible and coffee shops were within walking distance. Instructions were clear, as were driving directions. It was a bit noisy with air and car traffic, but we did not have any trouble sleeping. Our hosts were responsive to questions ahead of time. We would recommend it.
