Holiday rentals with breakfast in Southern California

I had an amazing stay at this Airbnb near Joshua Tree! The location was perfect—close to the national park, but still tucked away enough to enjoy the quiet and beauty of the desert. The space was spotless, stylish, and thoughtfully decorated, blending comfort with rustic charm. The outdoor space was a highlight—watching the sunset and stargazing by the firepit was unforgettable. The place had everything I needed: a well-equipped kitchen, comfy bed, and fast Wi-Fi (a plus in the desert!). Highly recommend this spot to anyone visiting Joshua Tree. I’d definitely stay here again!

Super cute space where every little area has its own vibe, the decorations make it feel extra special and thoughtful. They even had coffee beans and checked in with us upon arrival. They had a super easy and short checkout list of things to do before leaving, not like some other places. We were able to take a hot shower outside after using the pool or Jacuzzi which were both very clean and working. We're definitely recommending this place further!

Beautiful, clean, serene, just minutes away from the entrance to Joshua Tree National park. Colin was incredibly responsive and thoughtful, which made our experience seamless and stress-free. If you’re looking to enjoy the raw beauty of the desert in a cozy, beautifully designed home, this is the place for you. Highly recommended!

I had a wonderful stay! Everything was perfect, very clean, well equipped, and super cozy. I especially loved the beautiful interior design, which really fits the vibe of Joshua Tree. The host was incredibly friendly, the location was peaceful and ideal, and the amenities were excellent. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful stay at Michael’s property and he was the perfect host! The house is so comfortable and has every amenity you need. We really appreciated the EV charger, Apple TV, snacks (fresh eggs in the fridge, granola bars, cookies, wine and more), charging stations in the bedroom, and well stocked kitchen (Chemex with filters!). The location can’t be beat as it’s a short walk to downtown and across the street from the Railroad District restaurants and cafes. Michael was extremely easy to communicate with and answered all our questions promptly. This Airbnb is truly a gem in SLO and we would love to stay again!

This was the perfect place to stay with our Star Wars obsessed kids. They loved all of the memorabilia, the arcade, and the backyard! As adults, we appreciated the thoughtfulness of what was stocked in the house and how easy everything was to operate thanks to clear and easy to find directions. We are looking for an excuse to book again!

the place is very peaceful and everything you can find are here including sprout, restaurants, target. you can easily reach via car almost everything and its a great place for shopping. the place is very good and reachable. we even gave a big camel plushie just to express our gratitude. the place can cook which we saved alot of money and we had our dirty linen clean. the hist gave us free laundry detergent and it helped us alot in savings. if i can give 10 stars i would do so. more power

Nicole’s house was great. Her house was so comfortable that we felt at home when we got there. Our stay there flew by fast. The instructions she left for us was easy to understand and made checking in the place easy. The house was clean and beautiful. Communication with Nicole was very easy and would reply within a few minutes. She was eager to make our stay memorable. A lot of available parking on the street. I was not worried about finding parking at night. Would love to stay at Nicole’s place again.

Jan and Dale's place felt like home. When we arrived we had a nice surprise from them, snacks, a bottle of wine and fresh flowers. The neighborhood felt friendly and it was a 5 minute drive from the beach. They exceeded our expectations and we hope to return soon!

My husband, two girls, and I absolutely loved our stay at Ollie’s place! The location is perfect, and sitting in front of that window every morning with my coffee is something I’m going to daydream about nonstop. We walked right out to the beach every morning after breakfast, and Ollie had chairs, toys, and much more for us to use on the beach. Her breakfast each morning was such a treat! We couldn’t get enough of her delicious baked treats. Ollie is so kind, and is super quick to respond with anything you may need. Thanks Ollie for the best family vacay! ❤️

I enjoyed my stay at Dianna's Airbnb! The place was perfect for my needs, clean, easily accessible, and well-stocked with necessities. The addition of homemade greeting snacks was a nice touch. Also, Dianna was very communicative during the whole booking and stay process. I would highly recommend this Airbnb for your next stay in Long Beach!

This place is definitely worth the pay it was only a 2 min walk from the room! I would definitely recommend to my other friends for future trips!!

I really did not want to write such a positive review because I want to live at this place, and as I’ve found out, it’s very rarely available because of the exceptional location. If you see this place is available just book it. Do not hesitate!!!. Example; if you were at Louis Vuitton on Rodeo Drive and your friend was at this property you could hear each other breath. The area in general is unmatched. The people unchallenged in any realm of Humanity. Shay the host was incredible too, hence why my Karmic retribution gene kicked in and forced me to share this hidden gem. For the past 6 years I’ve lived in LA and I’ve finally found a place called home. Remember!!! Do not hesitate just book it or you’ll be left waiting months for it to become available again.

Jan’s house was a perfectly funky getaway! The outdoor space was amazing and was a very relaxing place to sit - it felt very secluded and private despite being near town and walking distance to all the shops and restaurants.

Peter's house was perfect for traveling with young kids. Peter and his wife set up bedding for our young kids which was so helpful especially with our evening arrival. There were so many fun toys for the kids to play with. The kitchen was well stocked. We really enjoyed our stay. Peter and his wife thought of everything and are great hosts. Beautiful home located in a peaceful neighborhood. The private room and bathroom were cozy and comfortable. Everything we needed during our stay was provided. It was very generous of them to let us use their washing machine and dryer. If we have the chance to visit LA again, we’d love to stay at Kristin and Chris’s place and explore more of their beautiful neighborhood.

From the moment I checked in I felt comfortable and so happy with my choice of rental. Christian's home is beautifully appointed and sparkling clean. My host provided fresh organic continental breakfast and the coffe was wonderful and appreciated. To be so close to my family and our new grand baby was amazing. The neighbor hood is excellent and the 3 block walk enabled me not to have to rent a car. In general very close to everything I needed. My room was very comfortable and with the beautiful bathroom steps away! Without hesitation I would love to revisit and highly recommend Christains home for a peaceful stay in Van Nuys!

I had the most amazing experience at Laura's place! Laura is super friendly and easy to talk to. She always has water, fruit, and food for guests. The place is so comfortable and clean. It has everything you need. Feels like home. It's great that I had my own laundry and dryer when i stayed there. The location is perfect, walkable restaurants nearby. Would definitely stay again in the future!
