Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Southbourne

We had a lovely peaceful stay, which was exactly what we where looking for so we could explore the area without being in a busy town. The layout makes the most of the space and is a lot bigger than we thought it would be. The garden is perfect for dogs as no escape routes. Decor is beautiful. Didn’t have any issues with the property. The only downside was that the local pub had closed, not Emma’s fault. Made us explore more and eat out at lunchtime rather than the evening . Would defiantly back. A really gem of a place.

A wonderful stay in a special place - perfect for a family or friends exploring the area on foot or bike. Lots of space to relax at the property, inside and out. Particularly appreciated Benjamin’s friendly and responsive approach, and flexibility on check out time for a small extra fee.

We hired this for a few days with family to celebrate my nans 70th birthday. Absolutely beautiful house and gardens and the facilities are amazing. We live locally so knew about the area but loved having a swimming pool, tennis courts and snooker table for all of us to enjoy. The lounge was bigger than we thought and comfortably sat all of us. We also received a helpful guide a few days before our stay which gave us all the information we needed. Overall a really lovely stay, thank you!

We had a great time at Dibbens Townhouse. So well located - just a couple of minutes from the quay, and surrounded by lovely restaurants. The house is really spacious and very comfortable. Everything you could need. There can be a bit of external noise - both from people on the high street, and from seagulls - so I used earplugs as others had mentioned on the first night to help me get to sleep. It was much quieter on the second night. Definitely want to come back - sadly the weather turned so we didn’t do what we were planning to on our last day, and due to a recent operation I wasn’t able to try out the amazing looking bath!! Would highly recommended a stay here. Thank you for having us.

We had such a wonderful time! The house was perfect for our stay, really spacious, comfortable and clean. The hot tub was great and the house was so close to the beach (less than 5 min walk). Aimee and Paul were really helpful and responsive when we had questions. I would highly recommend booking a stay here!

Conker Lodge was just right for our stay. It was very comfortable, quiet and extremely well equipped. The garden was beautiful and a lovely space to sit and relax. We would highly recommend.

An absolutely gorgeous place to stay. The location was wonderful, you felt like you were in the middle of nowhere, despite there being a pub next door! Lots of walks or cycles from the door, yet 2 minutes from a main road. The house was beautifully decorated and great bedrooms, lovely linen and comfy beds, with fantastic bathrooms. Everything you needed to cook for yourself and great recommendations of things to do and places to go. We had ponies outside our garden! Paul was a great host, responsive and helpful, really welcoming and very kind regarding checking in and out. We were there to celebrate a few things and felt it was absolutely the place for that. The pub next door under new owners was very friendly but did not disturb us at all. Thank you Paul, we had a great stay and would highly recommend it.

We have just returned from the most amazing week staying at the bolt hole. The house and location were just perfect and exactly what we needed for our two young energetic boys and dog. We spent plenty of time in the stunning garden and relaxing in the hot tub. Thank you so much Claire and Buster for making us feel so welcome and especially for allowing us to meet all of the animals. Freddie and Bertie will keep these memories for life and they are already missing playing with the dogs ( especially Fred ) and saying hello to Bernard every morning through the gate. We will definitely be back to stay again in the future.

Had a lovely three night stay in Acorn hut. Spacious and very private outdoor space with a hot tub for relaxing. Bathroom facilities were clean and shower was great. The hut itself was cosy with everything you need for a few nights away. Big enough for my partner and I as well as our large greyhound. The host was lovely and helpful with advice about places to go and the surrounding area. Would definitely recommend a stay here for anyone looking for a peaceful spot.

We were looking for somewhere in the New Forest area to celebrate our wedding anniversary with family. This house was perfect for us all, 8 adults and 5 grandchildren. The house is in a beautiful, quiet location which is exactly what we wanted. The house has everything you need and more, fully fitted kitchen with massive island and dinning table. All rooms were spotless as well as the many toilets and bathrooms. We stayed in the master bedroom which is very tastefully decorated. The swimming pool was a big bonus, perfect size and depth for our Grandchildren and very warm. It also had a padlocked gate to keep the little ones out when playing in the garden. Our host Katie was brilliant from start to finish keeping us updated on the stay and very responsive to messages. She provided a welcome food pack of sausages, bacon, bread and essentials which was really appreciated. Katie even took the time to let our grandchildren help her feed her horses. Can’t wait to return!

We stayed at Sam’s place to celebrate my husbands birthday. From the start Sam was responsive, friendly, answered questions and gave some fab advice. When I made a request she did everything she could to make it happen. The caravan itself is in a lovely peaceful part of the park with easy walking distance to the woods for the dog to have a run and also to the beach where we wandered to the pub and then back for an ice cream. Sam clearly explained how everything worked, where everything was & what she was doing to make things perfect for her guests. Her guide for things to do was really helpful so our days were filled and never dull. I would call this caravan a proper family home, it does everything it’s suppose to so you can just relax and enjoy your holiday. When I had some sad family news, Sam went out of her way to make sure we were ok and that we didn’t need to rush out the caravan on check out, so if you want a proper family home from home that does what it says - visit here! 🩷

We had a lovely stay at Stag cottage and fully enjoyed the huge garden during our stay. Communications with Cindy were excellent and she was really quick to respond and keen to ensure our stay was the best it could be. It was most definitely a lucky find and we would stay there again in a heartbeat. 😊🦌❤️

Andrew & Jo made us feel right at home during our stay. We loved our whole trip, especially the pool, quiet setting, and HUGE tv in the living room perfect for movies.

The Beach House in Southbourne provided us with everything that we needed for a perfect family holiday. The house has a spectacular view of the sea, with SOBO Beach access only metres away. The houses itself provides all of the amenities any family could want to have an enjoyable stay. Bathroom to bedroom ratio, safe suitable parking, a swimming pool,a hot tub with sea views, mini golf, a games room and chill out zone, and much more. The property is ideally situated near local shops,cafes pubs and restaurants. The Beach House is perfectly located for day trips to Swanage, Corfe Castle,Sandbanks,Bournemouth, Poole and the surrounding area. The hosts were very helpful and responsive to all of our enquiries. I absolutely loved my stay in Bens cabin! Honestly one of the best air bnb experiences I’ve had. Ben had great communication throughout & was on hand to provide local recommendations. The cabin itself was clean & stylish. The bed was super comfy & I loved laying in it watching the stars through the skylight at night. The cabin was serene & quiet but also felt very safe and secure. As a solo female traveller I felt very safe both in the cabin and surrounding neighbourhood. The location is perfect - leafy residential area with all the amenities you need down the road + more. Mini Co-op, Tesco & Sainsbury’s so close. I also loved coffee (& vegan treats) from veggie cafe Yam just down the road. It was an easy 10/15 mins walk down to the beach. Pokesdown station only a 10/15 mins walk too so super easy to get to without a car. This is a perfect air bnb for anyone looking for a quieter break outside of the hussle & bustle of Bournemouth town centre. Thank you so much!

My parter and I stayed at Ginny’s house the whole week with our little dog and we absolutely loved it. We felt immediately at home and the house has everything you need for a week away. Short walks from the high street and the beach. We are Really happy and looking forward to go back soon. Ginny was very friendly and very helpful throughout the week, I definitely recommend it.

We had a great few days in Southbourne. The flat is very smart and there are great sea views from the balcony. It's a fairly quiet neighbourhood most of the time but the beach is popular with locals when the sun comes out. The two pubs nearby are ok for a quick drink, but it's worth the 5 minute drive into Christchurch to find nicer watering holes and eateries. We had trouble finding a parking space a couple of times but even when we had to park on the sea front, we could still see the car from the flat. Tanyth was very proactive with communications, checking in with us prior to arrival and during the stay. We had no issues but I am sure she would have responded quickly if we had.

A truly special place. The pictures actually don’t do justice to how spacious it is, and how immaculate and well thought out it is, and the Wind in the Willows theme works perfectly in the peaceful surroundings of the riverbank. It’s a really calming and cosy place, and sitting eating breakfast by the riverbank was a joy. The spa bathroom is an extra treat on top. Chris and Judy were extremely proactive and we arrived fully informed with local recommendations and everything was easy to check in and out. We met Judy on the second day who very kindly greeted us and gave us more tips on things to do nearby. We hope one day to return!

Place was immaculate inside Clean tidy and looked after and bonus milk for a cuppa on arrival. Only down side about whole experience was upstairs Tennants were very loud and heavy footed on floor But on saying this I'd recommend this place for a break away walking distance to beach and multiple places for food and drink 👍👍👍

We have just returned from a week at The Annexe and it was wonderful. Elliot is a warm, friendly, professional and extremely helpful owner. The property and location are just perfect and Elliot had numerous recommendations for dog friendly restaurants in the area. Thank you Elliot for all your help. We will most certainly return to The Annexe and wholeheartedly recommend to anyone seeking a break on the south coast.

just got home today, great stay,great location, dog friendly, secure garden,mobility friendly, my husband kept his mobility in the safe locked garden, there was even a cover that fitted over it.Very quite ,black out curtains, very comfy bed,we will definitely go back there,great high street, and a lift to the beach, great if you are old thanks x

It is pretty expensive as stays go but is a great location right by the beach, plus it was half term. The flat was clean and really well presented and v spacious! There was an issue with the sky/tv when we arrived and it was sorted really quickly and Jonathan was v helpful. We had a lovely couple of days.
