Shell Kona Coast Resort Ohana Suite Naia

YounginRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Easy to get to the resort. Big for 3-member family. Good to cook and barbecue (we didn't do though). Super-easy check-out (You can just text the front desk that you'll check out and it's done). My parents especially loved this place. I'll stay here again if I come to the Big Island again in the future.

Thanks for the stay! Pretty location on the golf course, turkey visits every morning with the sunrise! I’d recommend updating the beds and streamlining the checkin. Otherwise great second floor location in NW of the big island, with quick access to some of the best beaches on the island.

Private Tropical resort in Kona

ChrisRating, 5 stars76 months ago
This was a room at the Kona Coast Resort, one of my favorite resorts in Kona. It’s more of a time-share resort, so a bit quieter than the more touristy places in Kona. Kona Coast’s rooms are spacious and have all the amenities you would need. Our room had two full baths and a bedroom with a nice balcony overlooking the golf course. Kona Coast has very nice pools, hot tubs, a poolside restaurant and a very hot sauna. I’d recommend staying at Dee’s place here at Kona Coast Resort. Dee was easy to communicate with and was very responsive.

Wyndham Kona Coast Resort|1BR/1BA King Balc Suite

MartinRating, 5 stars7 months ago
The accommodation met our expectations. Very comfortable, large and clean, with sea view terrace. Very nice pool with small functional bar-restaurant with a functional quick menu when you don't want to travel somewhere to an island restaurant. Nice amateur tennis court - plastic squares surface and not exact tennis parameters net, but even like that very nice for holiday's match, and for free. We only missed the nice resort beach, but that was the same problem mostly everywhere on the Big Island. There was no bathroom soap.

Holua Resort at Mauna Loa | 2BR King Bed Suite

We loved this place a lot! If you like pickleball or tennis there are tons of courts too! The condo is very spacious like a small townhome. We would love to stay again and would have loved to stay a few more days but couldn’t extend the dates. You are walking distance to the bay that has all the manta rays at night and the outrigger- so it’s a fun place to walk around and explore. We will book again!

Wyndham Royal Sea Cliff | 2BR/2BA King Balc Suite

MarkRating, 5 stars9 months ago
The location was great; close enough to downtown that we could walk or take a 3-4 minute Uber ride. The kitchen, bedrooms, and patio were perfect. Two really nice pool areas overlooking the ocean, one with kids, one without. Parking was great and made it easy to get around.

2BR Hawaiian Suite w/ all the comforts of home

PamelaRating, 5 stars15 months ago
The condo unit was spacious. The complex was quiet and lovely. We enjoyed walking around the complex. The unit was a little dated, however, we loved how large it was. Plenty of room for 4 adults to move around. Kitchen was well stocked with cookware and dishware.

We had an enjoyable stay and made full use of the room’s facilities, as well as the pools and walking paths around the property. The scenery is beautiful, and the location was perfect for my trip, which was for the IM WC 2024.

Perfect 2 Bedroom Suite for Group Visits to Kona

RosieRating, 5 stars7 months ago
Kalven was super nice and responsive, we were very happy with him as our host! As the Kona Coast Resort is a Wyndham / Shell Vacations property the checkin was done with Wyndham staff on site and in that sense we had nothing more to do with Kalven. Regarding the Wyndham property, Kona Coast Resort: brown brown brown, everything brown! The place seriously needs updating, it's super old, but it was clean, very spacious and a pleasant place to stay. 2 good swimming pools and a wonderful view from the main reception. Kona is generally a very expensive place to stay, this was no exception but it was pleasant. Thanks Kalven!

Absolutely loved the Bay Club! The condo was nice a spacious. Great views of the golf course. Enjoyed the pools and Bbq. The shuttles to nearby Queen and King Market were so handy. We even went to the Hilton down the road and enjoyed watching the dolphins and dinner at Nui Italian. I can’t wait to come back.

Posh 1BR Suite at Exclusive Kona Coast Resort

EtyeneRating, 5 stars8 months ago
We stayed at Kalven’s place with our baby and we loved our stay there. Kalven was very responsive at all times we’ve reached out and very easy to communicate with. The place was beautiful, peaceful and close to restaurants and some nice beaches. The amenities we used, like the hot tub, were also great. We ended extending our stay two extra nights and we appreciate how smooth and easy the whole process went and the fact that we didn’t have to check out and into another apartment. We would definitely stay there again and recommend to others.

Hilton The Bay - 2 Bedroom

AdrianaRating, 5 stars5 months ago
We loved our stay here. The property its inside Hilton resort so besides of having access to the pools from that resort, you get access to Kings Land. There the pools are great, even more if you have kids as they have very cool slides. There is also an adults only swimming pool and volleyball on the water. Also, you can get access to the main hotel area for a $100/day (allows upto 6 people) fee where you can access to the lagoon, perfect for snorkeling. You can avoid going on a tour! we actually saw more animals here than in the tour we did. We saw turtles, manta rays, eels, several fishes. Plus they have a bunch of slides The views from the apartment are amazing, you see the golf and sunset Its big and comfortable. The only downsize if you like to sleep is that they come at 8 am to clean the apartment and they are very noisy and insistent to enter. The grocery store at Queens market has decent prices compare to Kona and a good selection of stuff.
