Cottage holiday rentals in South Jersey

The home had a beautiful view of the river we saw a bald eagle, blue heron and an osprey. We enjoyed the fire pit ( we did get yelled at by the neighbor next door for too much smoke do beware!). We did not have time for the hot tub but glad it was available.

My friend and I loved staying at this little house. It was so close to the beach, the hot tub was amazing in the evenings and the house was comfortable and welcoming. It was clean, organized and well stocked with the towels. Great little getaway spot at a wonderful price.

Jeannine was extremely helpful and flexible with checkout. The yard was gorgeous and our 2 dogs loved being out there almost the entire day. They had everything you needed from towels, beach chairs and umbrellas. Nice touches with toothbrushes and little things you forget sometimes! Location is right down the road from a gorgeous beach with beautiful sunsets. Next time I am looking for a getaway in Cape May, I will be staying here!!

We stayed for a weekend at NJ shore escape and although the weather was not as warm as we had wanted, our stay was wonderful. The home is very comfortable, clean, and homey. We were able to use the hot tub on our first night, and it was very relaxing with the waterfront view. Salvatore was easy to reach and provided good info on what restaurants and shops were in the area. Highly recommend to anyone looking to stay near the Jersey shore, minutes from LBI and Atlantic City by car. We would love to come back when the weather is warmer.

This was our second time staying at JoJo’s cottage and it was another amazing experience! The house really makes you feel like you’re right at home. The kitchen is well stocked, so we were able to do a lot of cooking at the house. But you’re also so close to so many restaurants for when you’re feeling something easier! It really is a perfect spot, especially if you have dogs and/or kiddos. We would totally book again next summer 😊

We were the very first guests in Eric’s house and we thought Eric did a good job to prepare for his first guests. There are still a few things to improve but I’m sure those will get improved with time. Overall, this is a great house in a very quiet neighborhood. Only a few miles away from the beach. There is a full size on the ground pool that is pretty new and it was a nice surprise especially for kids. Kitchen has everything you need and maybe more. We’ve had a few issues in the beginning but Eric was real quick to respond and help resolve the issues. Additionally, he was checking in sporadically through our stay to make sure everything was going well. We thought it was a good value for a house in Lewes during very busy season. I would recommend anyone looking for a stay in Lewes to give this house a chance.

Loved this place. Couldn’t say enough about how nice it was. It actually was even better than the pictures showed. We hung out on the back deck with a hot tub and the grill and comfy chairs. Bedroom and bathrooms primo. Kitchen was so organized and stocked with equipment and utensils and everything you might need. This was important for us as we cooked almost every meal here We totally enjoyed the pool table in the basement. The host was very helpful, communicative, and responsive. We enjoyed going to local greenhouses and gardens. Highly recommend this place.

What can I say, from the adorable and impeccable style of this cottage to the considerate dog toys and treats, just a really great experience. The pool and outdoor space is just what you need after a day on the beach, and the interior has all you need, plus a relaxing but elevated beach style. Would give this lil place an 11! Thanks to the owners and Teresa for hosting a top notch stay.

What a fantastic little bungalow with an incredible location!!! The house had everything we needed and we were just thrilled with our stay! The sweet little walk to the beach was amazing! The only odd thing was how incredibly small the bathroom was but other than that it was amazing ! I hope to visit again.

The cottage is beautiful, tranquil, and very comfortable - a one of a kind place. The history of the cottage is very interesting and was part of our wonderful stay there. We, along with our guests with four legs, relished walking the serene property. David was a great host - very helpful, responsive, and nice to work with. We look forward to returning.

Jacki's home was so lovely and perfect for a weekend getaway with some friends. We brought our dog who absolutely loved the fenced-in yard and extra loved the mountain of toys stocked in the house!

Wow! I cannot say enough good things about this place! First, the hosts were so responsive before our visit even started, attentive, quick responses, and answered all our questions! The place was beautiful and private, exactly as described. The house had everything you could ever need, and then some! Many cases where we forgot something, and dreading having to leave to buy them, but surprise! Ellen and Michael had it stocked and available to use already! So much backyard space for our 2 pups; toys, treats, food bowls provided to us was an excellent touch and really elevated our experience! The hosts were flexible, understanding, and super accomodating! This home was comfortable, easy to access, and super cozy! Would love to book again next time we're in the area!

Cute, comfortable home. Very quiet and scenic, even had a deer stop by for breakfast our first morning there. Home had everything we needed. Sheila made this a great first experience.

We had an excellent time on our beach vacation! Kelly and Thomas were responsive to help us troubleshoot some minor technical issues and the place is just lovely! My dog especially enjoyed meeting some new canine companions on beach in the mornings and evenings. Thank you Kelly and Thomas- we’ll be back!

Barbara’s cottage was perfect. Very secluded, quiet and peaceful. Loved the wild life and we felt right at home. We highly recommend the place and we appreciate how accommodating the host was. Thank you!

We really enjoyed our stay at this charming and very clean place! We were able to rent bikes (6 minute walk to bike rental shop) and enjoyed nearby bike trails. The town is delightful and restaurants superb! Holly gave us great suggestions of where to go. The gardens and patio were amazing! Excellent vacation spot! Thank you!

The gothic cottage provides a magical little escape. I stayed alone and it was perfect for one but would be special for two as well! There is beauty and peace tucked away in every corner of the land here. I could hear toads and horses from the open window and that made for such a soul soothing experience. There are turtles and snails who live here too, so watch your step! Eleanor and Kurt were so kind, welcoming and very accommodating. I can’t forget to mention their sweet co-host, Miss Kitty, who made my stay complete! 🐈‍⬛

The home was well kept, felt clean, and had all the necessary amenities for the beach. We were happy with our stay.

I had a really lovely stay here while in town for a weekend event. It was the perfect little apartment for the weekend and Jillian went above and beyond to help. Not only did she allow me to have groceries delivered to the site she put them inside and in the fridge when the delivery driver was an hour early. The space was clean and quiet, and exactly what I needed for this weekend, and the host was so friendly and helpful. It honestly made this trip a success and I already plan to book for next year if possible!

We had a wonderful stay at Michele & Mark’s property. The property was just like it was described, the hosts were very hospitable (we enjoyed the chocolates ;) and the town was very pretty. It was so nice being able to walk to restaurants and the grocery store!

Lovely cottage that was perfect for a little family of 4! Great location to get to Dewey and/or Rehoboth. Enjoyed the front porch on our rainy Saturday. Beds were very comfortable. Great weekend getaway.! Thanks Kerri!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The cabin is very peaceful and in beautiful surroundings. We found plenty of activities in nearby Boyertown and enjoyed the local restaurants. The cabin was very clean and was exactly as described.

Cherene was a great house. It was in a quiet area. She laid how clear instructions for how to get to the place and how to get in. She had snacks available when I arrived. Cherene was also very understanding and let me have a late checkout since my flight returning home was in the evening. I would visit Cherene's place again anytime.
