Bed and breakfast holiday rentals in South Jersey

Aden and Wilma are perfect hosts and their home is beautiful. The room is spacious and comfortable and the furniture is so beautiful it’s hard to believe you are staying in someone’s home and not a country inn. Amazing views in every direction.

Marcia is nice, friendly, and responsive. The place is spacious and the kitchen is well equipped. The place is close to transit stations (a regional rail station, a few bus stops, and a trolley station). There're several stores and restaurants close to the the rail station. The neighborhood is peaceful. In all, during my stay, I felt at home, and would like to stay again if I have a chance!

This was my favourite Place to stay during our USA-Trip. If you like a modern hotel, this is probably not for you. But for us, it was perfect. We had a huge room with the coziest bed ever. We enjoyed the breakfast (whitch is inculded in the price) everyday. The Staff is super friendly and heartwarming. If you are looking for a place to sleep and you are in the area, this is your place to go.

This condo was perfect for our family beach trip. It looked exactly like the pictures. The furniture is beautiful. Plenty of parking, 2 spots in the driveway and many spots on the street. Walkable to all the Lewes shopping/ restaurants. Close drive to the beach. We would definitely stay again.

I stayed for a week at Flint Hill Farm and enjoyed every bit of my visit. Kathy was so warm and welcoming. My room was cozy, the kitchen was accommodating, homemade breads, yoghurt, cheese and coffee. The animals were beautiful, all the farm staff were friendly and nice. Flint Hill Farm is my go-to place when I visit that part of the country. Thanks so much, Kathy. Susan

Wir hatten einen herzlichen Empfang. Und wurde alles gezeigt und auch ein wenig von der Historie des Hauses erzählt. Unser Zimmer entsprach den Bildern. Es war sehr süß eingerichtet. Man konnte von dort alles gut erreichen. Sehr süßer Ort mit vielen Möglichkeiten zu shoppen und zu essen. Da am nächsten Tag Memorial Day war wurde sogar der Frühstückstisch in US Farben gedeckt. Es sah so toll aus. Da wir aufgrund des Jetlags schon um.6 wach waren und daher dann auch früh weiter wollten, haben wir das Frühstück in dem Maße nicht genossen. Aber man ließ uns nicht mit leerem Magen gehen. Ein Bed & Breakfast mit ganz viel Herz!

Sara is a wonderful host. Besides providing us with all necessary amenities, she even volunteered to get the medication for our friend who unexpectedly got an upset stomach, which we are thankful for. She was caring and supportive. The house location is beautiful, peaceful, and convenient. It takes only around 18 minutes to get to Philadelphia or a local airport by car from there. There are many grocery stores around. When choosing to stay at Sara's house, one should consider the pets (a dog and a cat). We personally did not have any issues with them. The dog was very sweet and well-behaved. Yet, the cat ran outside in the evening, and we could not find him in the dark (he came back at the smell of food :D). Overall, our stay was very pleasant and worth the price. We felt like at home.

Always great to stay at Jo-Ann's! We came for my brother's graduation at Swarthmore. The house is cozy, the room is comfortable, and Jo-Ann is very kind and helpful. We're glad to have found her place and are grateful for her hospitality.

This was my first ever bed & breakfast stay and it’s my new favorite way to travel! The location was fantastic, the house was fantastic, Lisa was fantastic, and the other guests were fantastic

Sandy and John’s place is just lovely. The house is beautiful and artfully designed. Our room was a nice size, clean, and comfortable. Sandy and John were very friendly and responsive and served breakfast each morning. The house is right down the street from the main shops and restaurants and has a pretty porch to sit and relax. I would highly recommend staying at The Hugh!

Sira and Bob are the nicest people you can hope to meet. There home is beautiful, clean and comfortable. They go out of their way to make you feel welcome and comfortable. I will definitely come back. I recommend this home, if you are ever in Dover.

We had such a wonderful stay with Charlotte and her husband! This place is absolutely beautiful, stunning surroundings, and the property is amazing. Charlotte and her husband were so welcoming and made us feel right at home, showed us around the house but gave us our privacy too. They were perfectly happy having our mini Aussie there so he felt right at home too, and he loved exploring! The kitchen was available for us to use including the fully stocked fridge. The house is fascinating, so much history and so much to look at. The room itself is perfect, the bed was incredibly comfortable, and there was lots of hot water in the shower. The house is so close to downtown Chesapeake city, it’s amazing to have that much privacy in such beautiful surroundings, but still be within a few minutes of all the restaurants and bars. Overall, we had such a great stay and will definitely be back to visit again!

This is a lovely location. There's a fair amount of traffic on the nearby bridge, but it was totally quiet by 10 pm and peaceful until about 7:30 am. The room was small but well appointed and supplied with everything promised. Breakfast and afternoon tea were delicious and generous. This was an exceptionally nice 3-day getaway.

I had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The host was very friendly and accommodating, offering a warm and welcoming experience from the moment I arrived. The space had a perfect blend of modern and vintage charm, with a cozy, homey feel that made it easy to relax. The beautiful yard was a lovely bonus, and having a park within walking distance made for peaceful strolls. The neighborhood itself is quiet and scenic—perfect for enjoying a good walk. I would definitely stay here again!

We found our home away from home in New Jersey. Whenever my husband and I travel to NJ, this is the first place we will check to see if they have room for us to stay at the Lily Inn on High Street. We loved the area. The Lily Inn is walking distance to the Delaware river. The Lily Inn has free parking it may be around the corner but it is free. This building will bring you back in time. The Queen Room with Garden View has an updated bathroom so you can relax after a nice hot shower. Remember it is an old house so you do have to wait for the hot water, but once its hot it stays hot for the remaining time of your shower. The bed was so comfortable the both of us slept like babies. We had warm weather so we did not need the fireplace. We might go back in the winter just to try out the fire place. Our Breakfast was amazing!! Made with love by Tom and his wife Alejandra. They made us feel so welcomed told us a little history of the Lily Inn and the surrounding area. Some people can not do stairs so keep in mind this place does have stairs to the bedrooms. We met with Devin on our last day of our stay she was also welcoming. The garden in the back is a nice touch to just sit and relax or if you like to do yoga or Tai Chi like my husband. We will be back whenever we are in the area. Thank you for such a wonderful stay. We never felt to welcomed as we did at the Lily Inn. Remember to put Lily Inn on High street on your GPS lol. We met the owner of the place and she gave us her number so we could call her anytime. We had such a wonderful time my husband and I didn't want to leave. Until next time.

I really like how my stay at Minhaz’s was very peaceful. Jacqueline was very professional and very heartwarming. I appreciate everything she has done for me during my stay. I booked a stay looking for sleep and found/met a really decent mentor/2nd mom!! Jacqueline really is a gift from God! Highly Recommend!

If I could give Grace and her place 100 stars I would! Grace made me feel right at home! She was so welcoming and kind. Her place was so peaceful, clean, and comfortable. She went above and beyond. I can’t say enough great things about this place and host! If you get the chance to stay here, consider yourself lucky!

Garrett was so friendly and check in was easy. The spread for breakfast was perfect and better than most hotels. The ambiance was fun, from disco balls at the entrance to a cozy environment throughout. Would totally stay here again! I wish you guys a successful season! :) Thanks for everything!

It was a very accurate and overall good stay. The host was very easy to communicate with directions of where to park, get in, etc.I rated a 5/5 because our time was well. I messaged before booking that two of us would be staying the night, but we were a bit disappointed to find that there was only one big towel. It was a bit of an inconvenience because we would like a big towel to walk back to our room from the communal bathroom, since the bathroom is tiny to begin with, so getting dressed is a bit cramped. Not sure if it is custom to only provide one towel unless requested, but no big deal. Second, our door knob broke, which could have been a big issue with our safety especially sleeping overnight in a shared house with strangers, but luckily the lady next door to us heard the commotion and told us that this actually happened that morning. She showed us how to lock the door still. Messaged the host and answered quickly and notified that we could still lock the door. Thus still 5/5.

We had a group staying for a month which was something he was not used to, but Steve was very accommodating. It was an amazing place to stay and is close to many restaurants, grocery stores, a gym (which was very accommodating by offering a one-month membership), and it was easy to get around the area. It is a phenomenal house, and the cat was great company greeting us when we came home or got up. It was like a home away from home having everything we needed including a washer and dryer. I would highly recommend this property and would absolutely look forward to staying there again.

The FROG was beyond our expectations. Perfectly located so we could walk to town and visit adorable shops and restaurants. The space was immaculate while homey. We were very comfortable. The garden outside was lovely. The price was incredible compared to other spaces nearby and we were happy we chose this one over the nearby B&Bs. We had our own entrance and it was very quiet. There were also amenities like coffee, snacks, and breakfast sandwiches that made the morning great.

Fantastic deal in an amazing location. Host is responsive and thorough. I’ll stay here again.

Dawn was a great host!! Easy to communicate with and very responsive. Her space was affordable and easy to access the island; perfect for what we needed and hope to stay again!
