Holiday rentals with a fire pit in South India

I would say the property was simply amazing and outstanding. It's one of few best places that I have ever stayed. Great location and a warm and comfy stay. You must try this place, if you want to have a memorable stay at foothills of Nandi.

Bhavan’s home is just amazing. On the edge of a cliff, the views are something you can’t get enough of. It was raining almost all throughout my stay there but that added to the experience. In the middle of nowhere, this place is the best getaway! If you’re looking for a luxury stay with a lot of amenities, this might not be it. There’s good WiFi and a UPS. The house is very clean and beautiful. They also offer food included in the cost, and trust me, it’s amazing. Chandrashekar, the caretaker, is a gem of a person. He’s very helpful, at the door as soon as you need him, and extremely kind. There are a couple of good places around too, like waterfalls and hikes, to explore. Since it’s in the wilderness, you’ll not find any network, irregular electricity, no TV, a lot of bugs, and very windy. I’d say this is a perfect place to get lost. A place worth exploring for sure. You shouldn’t think twice and consider this place for your next stay.

The stay was absolutely perfect! It was booked last minute and our check in was super late. The caretaker was superb and was super responsive, as well as the manager. The only thing I would ask to be improved is a bit more privacy, especially while using the pool. Other than that everything was perfect!

A Great Place and really nice spot located, with a lovely ambience surrounded by nature. The place offers a peaceful and scenic vibe. Fully furnished and equipped kitchen. Refrigerator, Washing mchine and inverter backup make the home perfect place to stay. However, there are a few areas that could use improvement: There’s no in-house pantry service, so we had to rely entirely on outside food or have to cook on our own. Hari arranged food from his nearby hotel. Special thanks to Tamizh caretaker for managing everything. Insects & Ventilation: Since the property is nestled among dense trees, we encountered quite a few bugs, insects, and flying pests. While the sliding French doors added to the charm and ventilation, the absence of mosquito meshes was a drawback. Particularly need to have in Bathrooms. Installing them would greatly improve comfort without compromising the aesthetics. Looking forward to visit again this lovely Cocoa Cottage.

My parents went their for a stay. It was so good and so peaceful. They were very satisfied with place and it's owner. The owner was very friendly and kind. The breakfast they served was good. Everything was very clean and tidy. The surrounding is very clean and beautiful with trees and plants. We would definitely visit them again!

beautiful place...Lino the caretaker was very helpful and pro in making our stay worth the visit... loved the food ...near by walk to the waterfalls and wonderful surroundings... only thing is Google map location is not aqurate...it was the next street... however Lino guided us well and we have reached the location on time.. would love to visit next time too.

Since this is Ravine Hotel property It is well maintained & really built well. Property location itself very beautiful point. Peaceful. Everything looks the same which you seen in picture.

We stayed here with our family and four kids, along with another family, and had a truly wonderful experience. The host went above and beyond—proactively guiding us, checking in regularly, and even arranging special amenities for our kids. It felt like a home away from home. Highly recommended and we’d love to come back!

We had a nice stay with my family. The place is very comfortable stay and the host is quick to respond. The gym is excellent and there is a resident exercise physiologist on hand too. For a small fee they can also set up and help you follow a routing. This worked really well for my father, he was at the gym everyday. There is also a really nice view. The pool was kept very clean and we used it nearly everyday. The kitchen is fully equipped with excellent non-stick (healthy non-stick with no PIFA as I have at home) so we really liked this. There are a few excellent restaurants close by, great food, walking is possible but it really depends on you, but the roads to it may not be for everyone. But certainly excellent dining options. You can always order food to the apartment and it is very easy for delivery folks to find the place, so no issue there. Normally we stay in Colombo but this time we couldn't find a nice place, but this space turned out to be fantastic and served us well.

This place is a nice homestay. The rooms were clean, the beds very comfortable and our landlord was a very nice lady. We had a very good breakfast in her dining room and this is an experience that you will not get at a normal hotel. Thank you Cecilia Cottage for the hospitality and also for the nice and interesting conversations we had.

The apartment is conveniently located close to all the amenities. The apartment was clean and modern with all the necessary facilities for a comfy stay. Chiran and his farther was able to ready the place on a very short notice and really thankful for that. Had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend the place for a stay in Colombo.

very clean and well-equipped apartment... upstairs of a family living below very nice and discreet and present if needed... a unique air conditioning in the room which is paid for and is not reported as such. very close to the big traffic of the city and the sea, but far enough away to sleep properly!!

A Hidden Gem in Nature's Lap! My stay at this Airbnb nestled near the forest was nothing short of magical! From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by the soothing sounds of nature—the rustling of leaves, birds singing, and the crisp forest air. The location is perfect for anyone looking to unwind and escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. The Propeller itself was cozy and thoughtfully decorated, with all the amenities you could need. I especially loved the large windows that let in natural light and provided stunning views of the forest. Waking up to the serene sight of trees outside my window was an absolute treat. The host Malika was incredibly accommodating and responsive, ensuring that I had everything I needed throughout my stay. They also provided great recommendations for nearby spots to explore. If you’re looking for a peaceful retreat surrounded by nature, this is the perfect place. I left feeling refreshed and rejuvenated and can't wait to return!

Peaceful, Clean, Simple, Clutter free, Homely Waking up to birds in the morning and going to bed after looking at the starry sky has been an experience that will stay with us for a really long time. Soochipara waterfall is really close and so are some of the entertainment spots. In house kitchen is outstanding, we really enjoyed food, hospitality and the fast service. Mr Ansar does his job perfectly and knows about the local spots which is really helpful in planning the day.

The food was freshly prepared from a homemade kitchen, adding a delightful touch to our experience. The location was easy to find, and Iona made sure everything was smooth. Meeting her lovely family was a pleasure, and relaxing in the cool cabin provided the perfect escape from the heat. Overall, it was a pleasant and memorable stay.

The place is around 20km from Talakaveri. Been there for my wedding anniversary this year. Waking up to the greenery and sound of the birds chirping was an absolute delight.
