Family-friendly holiday rentals in South Historic District, Savannah

Matt’s house on Tybee is perfect for a large family. The house has covered parking underneath that can be utilized for leaving strollers, bikes, and beach wagons accessible but out of the elements. There are two outdoor showers and a water hose for washing down after the beach. Upon walking upstairs, you are greeted with a beautiful screened deck with plenty of comfortable seating. Walking into the main house, it’s airy and spacious. The kitchen, dining area, living room all connect well. We had paper towels, basic kitchen supplies, etc. provided by Matt. The bedrooms are large (x2 king beds). A/C worked great. Matt’s house includes a hot tub, outdoor hammock, and an uncovered part of the deck for tanning. This is our second stay at this property. We would love to book again. Thanks Matt.

More than enough room for me, my husband, my mother in law and two small children. Would definitely stay again - perfect beach access.

Kathee was a great host and gave terrific local recommendations. We had car trouble our last day and our host was very flexible with check out. Condo looks just like the pictures and just steps from the beach! Very restful and plenty of room for family of 4 during Spring break. Heated pool and hot tub open in mid March. Highly recommend!

A wonderful weekend stay for our group! The place is huge, right next to a convenience store, and very walkable to a lot of places. Jerry is friendly, always responsive, and provided clear instructions.

David’s place was great. The bed super comfy . Living space was furnished nice .Very clean. Plenty of space to enjoy a Savannah Vacation. Close to Kroger for supplies. We relaxed at the pool after enjoying many tours that we booked during our stay . We will return soon.

Wonderful Carriage House in the heart of all Palmetto Bluff has to offer. Beautifully decorated, comfortable and surprisingly VERY private home in a great location. Amazing response time from Ellen -- even during a holiday weekend. We could not ask for a better place to stay and hosts. We will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend!

Great house and wonderful host for your Savannah Airbnb stay. The host is one of the most responsive hosts I have ever dealt with. She usually responds within minutes. The house is located in a good area and near everything via a short Uber ride. I like that it sits in a quiet neighborhood with friendly neighbors and has adequate private parking. The home is very clean and has all of the basics for your stay. There is adequate bedspace and plenty of towels for guests. Other amenities include a hairdryer, fully stocked linen closet, soaps, shampoos and a convenient washer and dryer for guest use. The house has a vintage southern feel with modern conveniences like high-speed wifi and smart TVs. I highly recommend this property.

We had a lovely stay at this place. It was a short drive to downtown Savannah and it was very quiet. We loved sitting on the screened in front porch with our dog. The place was very clean and very homey. We would totally stay here again.

This was a great stay for me, my husband, and his family. In total, we had 6 adults and brought along our 2 dogs to stay and there was enough room to be comfortable for us all. The house was very clean, furniture was comfortable, and the kitchen was easy to cook in with all the supplies we needed. I loved that the garage was big enough to fit all of our vehicles! There were beach chairs and a wagon available to use if you didn't have your own, and the beach was just a short walk around the corner. You could easily walk the sidewalk from the house to access the rest of the island, and there were cute shops just one house over. We loved our stay and would recommend to anyone as a great location for Tybee and Savannah!

A wonderful place to stay in a beautiful city! The Airbnb was fantastic with everything we needed and in a perfect spot. Very close to Forsyth Park and all of the sights of historic Savannah. Definitely recommend for anyone wanting to visit. Plenty of space for 6 people.

Had the most amazing stay here for my bachelorette party weekend! The house was so perfect — super spacious, clean, and full of charm. We had a group of 10 and never felt cramped; there was more than enough room for everyone to relax and get ready. The front porch was one of our favorite spots, perfect for sipping coffee in the mornings and winding down in the evenings. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and we all slept so well after long days out on the town. The location was great too — quick Uber ride to downtown and all the restaurants and bars we wanted to visit. Highly recommend for any group trip or celebration!

Our stay was great! The house is incredible and spacious - we wanted the Savannah historical vibe with modern amenities and got just that. The ambiance was great and everything was as expected or exceeded regarding amenities. Reasonable expectations of guests and extremely responsive to questions and instructions. Would definitely recommend!

Wendy made us feel very welcome! I had a few questions about the house and the area before we arrived and she answered me promptly. She also provided a house manual that included many suggestions regarding the area which was quite helpful. We loved the neighborhood and accessibility to downtown Savannah and Tybee Island. The backyard and pool were a quiet oasis surrounded by beautiful flowering bushes and trees. It was such a lovely place to retreat to in the early morning with a cup of coffee to relax and or catch sight of a hummingbird or butterfly. After a day of touring or visiting the beach it was so nice to go home to enjoy the swimming pool and barbeque. We would definitely stay here again when visiting Savannah.

This was the perfect location for our first visit to Savannah. Everything was walkable ( we never used our car) and we absolutely loved that it came with a parking spot. The old building was spacious, well maintained and well furnished. This was one of our favorite Airbnb’s. No complaints at all.

What a great time we had on Tybee Island! My 2 daughters, 2 grandchildren and I had plenty of comfy room to spread out in this great condo! Beach access is ideal - covered parking to keep the hot sun off the car - pools easily accessible for both kids! Morning coffee on the balcony- listening to the surf and watching the ships go by. Life is indeed beautiful! Rhonda answered our questions timely and we had no issues checking in or at anytime throughout the week.

Beautiful home and very peaceful location. Very short walk to the beach on the bay side. Loved the quietness of the beach and its easy access from condo. Beautiful view of the water from our balconies. Nice pool in this complex of condo’s. Walked across the street to eat, shop and rent bikes. Harbor town and Coligny is a short drive from condo. Daily views of deer, 2 babies and its momma and 2 bucks. One buck was a 10 pt. They were all very friendly and clearly used to people. The momma dear ate bananas out of my three year old grandsons hand so sweetly. Truly a remarkable experience to be able to witness the wildlife so intimately. The home fit the 10 of us very comfortably. It was perfect! Great experience building beautiful memories! we will be back!

We had a great time at Melba’s place. Perfect location and lots to do within walking distance. Melba was quick at responding to questions and if we needed something, she was prompt getting to us. I would recommend staying at one of her places.

Was a little disappointed about the construction going on right next door beginning at 7am every morning but the home itself is amazing! My family and I had a wonderful time during our stay- there was plenty of room for everyone. Close to most of the popular spots in the historic district. This was my 2nd time staying at a Lucky Savannah property and I would recommend to everyone!

The little condo was exactly as described, very cute and homey. It was the perfect set-up for the 4 of us for our short stay as a halfway point back home. I loved the area of the beach where it's located, nice and quite. My only true complaint about the building was getting woke up in the middle of the night to the sound of cats fighting.

John was extremely helpful and swift with any questions asked. Place was clean and close to the beach. Would highly recommend.

Patricia’s place was perfect for our family. Dafuski is a unique place and this was exactly what we wanted. Patricia was open and honest about what was available on the island and what was not. Her property manager, Susan, was outstanding. She was knowledgeable, flexible, and friendly. The location and set up of the condo was perfect. We loved having our coffee on the deck and walking the beach every morning. Super helpful that we can bring our dogs as well. I think we found our perfect place on Dafuski.
