Pet-friendly holiday rentals in South Historic District, Savannah

My husband and I and our border collie enjoyed our stay. Neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. Grocery stores and restaurants were nearby. Kitchen had what we needed. And it was an easy drive to get to the historical sites. John was a very responsive host.

Carlos and Marci were fantastic hosts. They responded promptly to our messages and put together a wonderful itinerary for our trip. The place was clean, cozy, and exactly what we needed. We’ll definitely book with them again!

Beautifully appointed and maintained space with lots of small details including lots of personal hygiene supplies. Hosts were very responsive and helpful with lots of great suggestions and very flexible in accommodating our needs. This unit was on the second floor with some steep steps, so if this is an issue. request the first floor apartment. A helpful hint: if checking out but hanging out in Savannah with no car, call the Taco Affair (an 18 minutes walk) and ask about luggage storage for the day. Great part of a great visit to Savannah.

Joel and Angie,we’re very responsive . They were also very accommodating,they made me and my family feel right at home,my kids loved this place . They have toys and fun activies for families with young kids. And the coffee was a definite plus for me ,so thank you Joel and Angie.

This was our second stay and it did not disappoint. Shawn is a welcoming host. She checked in with us to be sure we had everything we needed. The location is fantastic. It is nestled in a quiet neighborhood. The sunlight infused apartment is beautifully decorated and we enjoyed relaxing there each morning and evening. The kitchen is well-appointed with coffee maker, coffee filters, ground coffee, pots, pans, some spices, etc. It’s a comfy kitchen to cook in. The mattresses are very comfortable, great pillows, high quality sheets, and a bottle of wine to start your stay. The location is 15-18 minutes from Tybee Island and to Historic Savannah. We appreciated the peaceful stay. Thank you, Shawn!

The house was perfect! It was close to everything we wanted to do. It was very clean and had plenty of pillows and towels. Would stay again.

My friends and I had such a wonderful weekend at the house! We stayed here for my bachelorette weekend and it worked out perfectly! The house was exactly as described and we had no issues during our stay. The location worked well since we were located in between Tybee Island and downtown. Would recommend this house to any large group looking to create wonderful memories!!

Milan’s home is absolutely beautiful and very comfortable for a family stay. Although we weren’t able to use the pool during our visit, the home itself was clean, spacious, and nicely decorated. Milan was extremely responsive throughout our stay and was very accommodating when a few small mishaps came up. His quick communication and willingness to help really made a difference. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely recommend Milan’s place to others. I’m giving our stay a 4 out of 5!

Here comes the sun was a true home away from home. I was there for my Masters Degree graduation and was so comfortable in their place. It was nice and clean and really comfortable. Laura and Andy were so responsive and welcoming. Thank you so much!

Highly recommend for anyone staying in the area. Spacious, clean and perfect for the family. Kids enjoyed the pool and of course, ping pong. Amenities were plentiful! Hristina has all the details covered. We will most definitely be back!

We had a nice stay at Raquel's play within the Glenwood Grove section of Berwick Plantation. We have family in the Stonelake Townhomes section just a short distance away, so the proximity was very convenient. The floorplans of both locations are very similar, with dining, kitchen, living room, restroom, and master bedroom downstairs, and two additional bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs. Raquel's place includes a bonus playroom and laundry room upstairs. Communication was timely, access was easy, and the home was clean with all necessary supplies and amenities. The location is about 20 minutes from downtown Savannah (Bay Street/River Street), which was fine for us.

We had a wonderful stay at Marci and Carlos’s home in Savannah! The house is warm, welcoming, and comfortable — it truly feels like a boutique hotel, with all the coziness and convenience of a home. It’s fully equipped with everything you might need, the pool is inviting and relaxing, the beds are extremely comfortable and there’s plenty of privacy. Marci & Carlos were kind, responsive, and easy to communicate with. The location is also great — just a short drive to the beach, downtown Savannah and a nearby grocery store for any last-minute needs. We highly recommend staying at Marci and Carlos’s home!

4 of us stayed here for a golf trip and had a great time. Great location with plenty of space and amenities. We loved the backyard. Very friendly host, great location would definitely stay again!

This is such a beautiful and private house. I came here for some self-healing and it was so touching to read the beautiful stories of Karla and Todd's son and father in the house. They are perfectly located halfway between downtown Savannah and Tybee Island so I was able to enjoy both areas on my trip. The home is very comfortable with everything I needed and the gardens outside are beautiful.

Loved this place so much. Close to all my favorite spots. Very clean & comfortable. Garry was quick to respond on everything. There was only 1 small hiccup getting in with push button on key pad, but my hubby was able to fix it. Hope to come back soon.

Ella’s place was very clean and she was a very responsive host! Very good location and had beach supplies for us to use which was nice. I will say the only outdoor space is a shared carport but if you don’t plan to be there much it’s a great place to stay.

My family and I had a wonderful stay at Jacquelyn’s space. The interior layout is open and bright. The kitchen is beautiful. The backyard has so much charm with a few fruit trees. Our kids loved this place and they felt right at home. The location is very convenient. We walked to everything. We had a great time!

Andrew was a great host!! When we arrived he let us check in early and the AC in the upstairs part of the unit had broken, and he was on top of it! He made sure that he had a professional and experienced HVAC man on the scene within a couple hours! They fixed the issue quickly! Host was very responsive and communicated properly with us! While the HVAC was being serviced he sat with us and told us some history on the property and messaged us a list of food places. Overall one of the best experiences! Everything was perfect! I would stay at the Jones carriage house again!

We had a great time. The bed was super comfortable which is something we LOVE. Very cute, would definitely recommend!

Booked a last minute trip to Savannah for an anniversary and wanted to bring our dogs. Chloe & Michael’s place was so convenient and exactly what we were hoping for. I do wish that the fenced in courtyard had some sort of grass area for easy bathroom breaks for pups, but it was perfectly easy to walk around the beautiful neighborhood, or go a block over to Forsyth. Would definitely stay again on another trip to Savannah. The convenience and beauty of a historic neighborhood and still well within walking/biking distance of anything you’d want to do around the city

Lovely stay at Gabe’s. Just the three of us, all ladies in their 70-80’s. Appreciated the three bedrooms, very comfy beds. Good Wi-Fi. As a Brit, I loved the kettle option, usually my tea tastes of coffee. Good parking on the street and mostly used a disabled badge, as a spot is very near. Parking on opposite side of the street, two nights a week when they clean was no problem on the day we needed to. Good communication, very central for all the things we needed to do during our stay. Loved Forsyth Park.

Beth was extremely helpful and proactive in contacting me with a small issue before my arrival. She was very quick to assist and get everything taken care of for me before I got there. I will definitely stay with her again!!!
