My friend and I recently stayed at your cottage near Nottingham Road, and we wanted to express how perfect it was for our needs. We were looking for a quiet place to catch up and spend time outdoors, without being too far from the hub of restaurants/shops and bars. The cottage had everything we needed, including super comfortable beds, a cosy fireplace, and breathtaking views. I will definitely visit again and highly recommend this tranquil stay! Thank you for a wonderful experience.

Jan was a wonderful host. My wife and I could not have found a better place to stay in Hermanus: the space is beautiful and the location could not have been better.

We had the most wonderful time at the Game Lodge - we were luckily greeted by the giraffe, ostrich’s and buck on arrival. We also got lucky waking up to seeing the Giraffe in front of our lodge for breakfast which was special. The food at the restaurant was delicious. We would highly recommend it. Shaun was welcoming, always had time to talk to us and answer any questions we may have had. We can’t wait to return!

Lovely cottage and made for a beautiful little getaway. The heated blankets were amazing for the cold. Cottage was equipped with everything you may need for a short stay. Highly recommend.

Dies war unser zweiter Aufenthalt im Bougainvillea Cottage und es war genauso schön wie beim ersten Mal! Wir waren vier Wochen dort und haben jeden Tag genossen. Das Haus ist gemütlich mit einer gut ausgestatteten Küche, einem großzügigen Bad und einem schönen Schlafzimmer. Der Außenbereich ist mit bequemen Sitzmöbeln und dem großen Pool im grünen Garten wunderbar, um sich dort aufzuhalten und zu entspannen. Das Haus befindet sich in einer ruhigen und sicheren Wohngegend, die zwei sehr freundlichen Hunde geben zusätzliche Sicherheit. Alles ist gepflegt und sehr sauber, es wird wöchentlich geputzt und auf Wunsch sogar gegen eine Gebühr die Wäsche gewaschen - ein super Service. Chrismare und Ben sind großartige, sehr liebenswürdige Gastgeber, die alles dafür getan haben, daß wir uns wie zuhause gefühlt haben. Wir werden gerne wiederkommen und können Bougainvillea Cottage ohne Einschränkung empfehlen.

We enjoyed our stay at the Kingdom. The unit was very comfortable and as described. The location is close to Sun City and other amenities. Staff were very friendly. We would return.

Lovely place. We stayed over after a hike in the berg. Too short but a lovely spot. Nicole was also super helpful as I asked to leave my laptop with her for the duration of the hike so it didn’t sit in a hot car for 4 days. Easy to pop past and drop it with her beforehand. Next time I’d like to have more time to enjoy the spot!

Beautiful and quiet guest lodge just outside Grahamstown. Peaceful with magnificent views and beautiful scenery. A must for anyone in the Grahamstown area.

Amazing location with a cottage providing rustic charm. Several hikes to beautiful vistas and a lovely outdoor setting to enjoy the sunset. Nearest supermarket is 17km away, so be sure to bring everything with you. Lovely pond for zip line and canoe activities

we absolutely loved the house, the surroundings and all that Southbroom has to offer. The golf course is the centre of all activity and we spent lots of time there. All the beaches are spectacular and happily safe and wonderful to walk on. the house is very comfortable and well laid out. The maid, Amanda is a real asset and we were very happy to have her. we would love to return this house next year.

We had a lovely stay at Whitestone, the details, layout, decor and surroundings are simply beautiful. Claudia and George are very nice people. I do however feel that the price per night (whether you stay during the week or weekend) is quite steep when I compare it to other luxury airbnbs we have stayed in. We’ve been to airbnbs with hot tubs and breathtaking views, with beautiful designs etc, but at a more reasonable price. A qualm of ours was that the hot tub took 7 hours the first night to heat up from cold with continuous stoking(the hole is too deep), and still was only warm, not hot after all that time. The smoke from the fire/braai doesn’t have any real ventilation because again the hole was built very deep so it makes it hard to bbq without inhaling smoke between that and the hot tub. It is gorgeous, but maybe a bit more worth it if it wasn’t at such a high price when compared to what else is out there. This is just our opinion.

We stayed at Sandi’s property for the month of February 2024. The house, which is situated in gated safe and secure parkland, is exactly as described and pictured. The kitchen is extremely well equipped, and the living areas are very comfortable. The TV/satellite channels are comprehensive and the Wi-Fi worked beautifully. The patio area is large and a lovely space to sit, eat, barbeque, and relax in the company of the Bushbucks and other friendly wildlife. Fantastic highly recommendable places to breakfast, lunch and dine, are all within a 5 minute drive, as is the magnificent Brenton on Sea beach. The regular load sheddings posed no problems as an inverter is in place. On top of all that, Sandi was on hand to advise and support us if needed. Her local knowledge, professionalism and good nature was invaluable and was ‘the icing on the cake’ of our sta y, she is indeed a ‘Superhost’ and such a lovely person.

Gary was in touch before and during our stay will any necessary information, and was always willing to assist. It was an absolute pleasure to stay at Sunset Creek.
