Beachfront holiday rentals in South Africa

We had a lovely stay at Imraan's! The house and the view were so stunning and that made one almost not want to leave the house at all. We also got great recommendations and communication was also very easy. Thank you!

This place was a wonderful getaway! Incredible views over the ocean and the most charming cabin to stay in. The check in was a little challenging in the dark, but Utas instructions and pictures helped us find our way. Would love to stay here again in the future!

1st time stay at Bronwyn’s place. Was there for the 8mile charity swim. The proximity to DUCs was fantastic. Her place is clean and has all amenities listed. Not great for restaurants but wow clean and not crowded. Was great to arrive without having to rush to a shop and buy essentials. Fridge stocked and grocery cupboard had stock if needed. Fruit and rusks supplied.

This is our second stay at Mark and Karen's quaint cottage. We had friends from Australia staying with us and they absolutely loved the position and the fact that we could walk straight onto the beach to witness the sardines arrive at the Pennington Skiboat Club, within easy walking distance from the cottage. Thanks to Neil, who met us on our arrival and was always helpful and available on his cell phone. We will definitely be back!

A wonderful house with pool right at the beach. You can see the ocean from the bedroom. We received water and milk when we got there late, that helped! We really enjoyed our stay as a family!

Rustic beach house. Not much to the accommodation, simple and comfortable. exceptional location. Loved our stay. Feels like you’re in a David Attenborough documentary. Would definitely return

..ended up spending 18 wonderful days with lots of reason to be there again. Babette and Cheryl are warm and hospitable. The air is breathable and believe me the house is a perfect escape to relax, unwind and enjoy the beauty of the ocean. It’s truly a slice of heaven!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Villa Ondine. The house was great, clean and well kept. It has a lovely grass area and pool with a beautiful view. Leon was a great host! Would definitely go back again.

Will definitely visit again! This cottage is the perfect coastal escape, surrounded by breathing taking flora and landscapes. The ocean view is spectacular! We felt right at home here and out hosts were just wonderful.

We loved our stay here while we were visiting Cape Town. It has an amazing view of the ocean and a wonderful outdoor space to enjoy it. The house was extremely clean and well-stocked for our stay, and Naomi was very kind and attentive. There is plenty of space for anywhere from a couple to a large family to stay. We will definitely book this Airbnb again on our next trip to Cape Town!

I’d book this again in a heart beat

Our stay of five days in the beach house was too short! It was such a great experience to stay at the beach and have the most beautiful views and walks!. The house was very well equipped and although staying at the house in early autumn we even had a day or two to chill at the pool and enjoy shrimps and steaks on the braai. At some point there was a power interruption and Clifford immediately came to action and solved the problem. I would highly recommend the house butat the same time this hidden gem should be kept a secret 😊

I have stayed at the house many times. The view and location is fantastic with the sound of the waves creating a relaxing environment. The house has a lovely rustic warm feel. Wi-Fi and TV are great. Beds are comfortable and linen is soft and warm. Loved the fireplace. Linda's communication is immediate and responsive and she was flexible with change of booking which was greatly appreciated. We absolutely loved our stay at Breaking Waves! The place was spotless, and the attention to detail was truly heartwarming. The welcome packets were such a thoughtful touch, and seeing our names on the welcome board made us feel instantly special and at home. It’s clear that a lot of care and love goes into hosting here. We had a wonderful time and can’t thank you enough for your warm hospitality!

We had the most incredible stay and cannot recommend this place highly enough! From the moment we arrived, Rozanne made us feel completely at home — she’s a truly exceptional host: warm, thoughtful, and always available if we needed anything. The home itself is stunning, with stylish and beautifully curated interior décor that strikes the perfect balance between luxury and comfort. The indoor fireplace was a cozy highlight, and we spent unforgettable dinners at the indoor Braai (bbq) enjoying great food. And the view — absolutely to die for. Waking up to the sight of Springboks and Zebras roaming in the distance felt like something out of a dream. Despite its elegant design, the house was surprisingly child-friendly, making it an ideal getaway for our whole family. Every detail was considered. We had a fantastic stay! The house was modern, spacious, and perfect for a large family getaway. The jacuzzi was an absolute highlight—relaxing and well-maintained. What really stood out was the exceptional availability and support of the ground managers; they were always responsive and helpful. The location right on the beach made the experience even more special.
