Bushmanspoort (Cederberg) Bergwagter Caravan

RosieRating, 5 stars2 months ago
I had a wonderful stay in the caravan - the location is awesome and serene, surrounded by Cederberg rocks. Manus was very friendly and helpful, and ensured I had everything I needed. The caravan is comfortable, the kitchen well equipped - no fridge however a coolbox with multiple ice bricks. The bathroom is a delight, built around the rocks. I definitely recommend, and will return.

**Review for a Weekend Getaway in a Pet-Friendly Retro Caravan** ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ **Review for a Weekend Getaway in a Pet-Friendly Retro Caravan** ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I just had an amazing weekend in a charming retro caravan nestled in nature, and it was perfect! The vintage decor made it cozy and nostalgic, while being impeccably clean and comfortable. Best of all, it was pet-friendly, allowing our dogs to enjoy the adventure too! Evenings spent stargazing around the campfire were unforgettable, and the serene surroundings provided a peaceful escape from daily life. Our hosts were incredibly welcoming, offering great local tips and ensuring we had everything we needed. This was a unique and relaxing getaway for both us and our furry friends. We can't wait to return! Highly recommended!

We traveled with our large dog and this accommodation is perfect for pets as the property is fenced off and private. The bed was comfortable and the self catering kitchen well equipped with everything we needed to make our stay comfortable, we were surrounded by nature and wildlife but still had all the comforts we needed for a relaxing weekend.

Awesome and unique stay. A great option if you have a dog. The drive in through the forest is beautiful and John is very warm and welcoming. I dropped in one night on my way up to PE to visit family and then stayed three nights on my way back. Great value for money.

Great value for money. Beautiful tent with an amazing bathroom. Outside shower was fantastic. One thing to note is that tent 9 and tent 10 are in an area with a pool with no net so parents with young children might want to choose the other tents if their children aren't water safe. A great stay.

It was such a pleasure and gift to stay in Uys and Marina’s place. It is such a nice space and the hosts are amazing, it was just meant to be. Ofcourse you need to enjoy a bit of camping lifestyle and “challenges”. 😉 Definitely will be visiting again and feel like i found more new beautiful conscious souls in the Cape.

Private camping in Ceres!

EmmaRating, 5 stars4 months ago
Lovely private campsite. Lots of grass and shade. The river is mostly quite shallow but it was lovely to swim in and the kids and dogs played in it for hours. Fridge and hot water worked well with no issues. Just worth noting that there isn’t a braai grid so you do need to take your own, and there is a sandy dip in the road through the orchard that a regular car might not get through (we were in 4X4). Would recommend to others and we would love to go back again. Thanks Candice!

Flat Peak Cozy Farmstay - Bosbok Tented Camp

ItumelengRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Our little family have an awesome time . We stayed for two nights and it was lovely. From the booking to the communication everything was excellent. This family owned place is well managed , run with kindness and grace. We operated the boiler Donkie for the first time and had warm water for showering. It is clean and well taken care off. Great Wi-Fi and all cooking tools were provided. We went for morning walks with the kids and had amazing time. They have a cactus tree a beautiful and rare find. If you looking for a great Glamping experience with the family away from the big city- 2 hours away from Johannesburg. I highly recommend it. We will be coming back soon. Thank you for a great place.

Oryx Wilderness: Doppruim Tented Camp

StevenRating, 5 stars17 months ago
Probably the best stay I have had on airbnb. Absolutely lovely venue with incredible hosts. The views are breath taking and the game on the farm are plentiful. Cheerful and helpful host who is extremely knowledgeable when asking questions on the game drives. If you want some time to get away with a few friends or family, this is surely a top choice. A great 'bush' vibe and tranquil. Thanks for hosting us!

The Cosy Caravan at Kiva Moya

GabrielRating, 5 stars12 months ago
The Caravan at Kiva Moya is a wonderful place to stay that gave me a real chance to recharge. The set up is basic, but very comfortable and fun, and everything you need is there in ample supply. Cláudia is an incredibly generous host, and the property is magical and wild. It's a great bush getaway close to the city. My experience was also really private, which was lovely.

A short distance from CT to the most peaceful hidden gem tucked away among the Western Cape's most beautiful fynbos. What a great break from the busyness of the city, and technology! Not once did I feel the urge to scroll through mindless social media apps! instead, we cooked meals together, played board games, read books, soaked in the hot tub and at night, gazed at the star-filled sky sitting around a bonfire.

The Tent is nice and spacious, has all the basic amenities that you would need for self catering unit. The camp site has a beautiful garden with plenty of birdlife and the sounds of the ocean. The ablutions are very close by and was very clean. We will definitely recommend Characters to anyone wanting to get away and wanting stay in Pennington.

Onrus Beach Camping : Under the Milkwood.

CarolRating, 5 stars65 months ago
What a gem - a really special night away. You get to the spot by boat- how special is that? Andy is so warm and friendly and bursting with local knowledge from Onrus to Hermanus. We had a double bed in our tent with fulll linen and towels and a hot shower. We had our own private beach overlooking the lagoon- the sea is just 5 minutes away. There is a communal barbeque and all implements are provided. We cannot recommend Andy and his glamping under the milkwoods enough. We cannot wait to return.
