I'm hesitant to write about Lisa's place as others will snag my spot to rent it. Lisa was a fantastic host with an amazing home that's better in person than the pictures. An extremely outfitted kitchen with a nice big Viking range. This home is perfect for a couple all the way up to 6 people (I wouldn't suggest young kids). Tremendously relaxing with a beautiful lake with lots of birds coming and going. The hosts are lovely and want you to have an incredible time. The home itself is peppered with thoughtful little details and basically everything you could possibly need. Can't recommend highly enough.

This place was such a great home base for our friends trip to Russian River. The property and house are very nice and spacious and the surrounding area is phenomenally beautiful, especially by boat (which come with the place). The dock, the deck and the hot tub were all great places to hang out. Hosts were easy to communicate with. I will definitely stay here again in the future if I have a big group trip.

We felt very fortunate to land at this lovely spot on an unusually hot weekend for the area. The Rys family was very quick to respond to a request for booking, and their home did not disappoint in terms of spaciousness and beautiful location. It is extremely well equipped with nearly any item someone could want for river side recreation, cooking and entertainment. The bedroom spaces, kitchen area, common gathering spaces inside and out were all very spacious, clean and welcoming. We would recommend this home for a pleasant river side get away; it has lots to offer.

We were in the area for a wedding and wanted a place that our family (8 of us) could be together and hang out but also with areas to rest if needed. This home provided that and more! Plenty of options for us all to gather inside and out. So many TVs and a nice assortment of games also. We all enjoyed sitting outside to chat and enjoy the peacefulness of the water and surrounding area. The kitchen was wonderful, easy to prepare meals and we enjoyed the surprise in the fridge. All the bedrooms were spacious and comfortable - loved the fans in every room. Plenty of sparkling clean bathrooms that we could all get ready without any issues. Would highly recommend this home if traveling to the area. Easy access to the highway and shopping center.

We had the best time at Charlie’s home and made some great memories! The home was super spacious, clean, and had all the amenities needed. We especially loved how the natural light flowed into the kitchen and dining room. The views of the river and redwood trees was so breathtaking. It’s also in a great location, just a few minutes from Guernville and a Safeway if you need groceries. We are already talking about coming back next summer. Thank you Charlie!

We loved the lazy river lodge! Great location and beautiful deck. The hot tub was definitely a huge plus! The place is very close to Safeway which makes grocery shopping and cooking easy. Plus, the kitchen comes with all of the pots, pans and things you need! If you’re looking to go to town and don’t want to drive, it’s a pretty easy walk but the road is windy and there isn’t a designated walk space, so that was the only thing we had concerns about (but that’s more of a tip and nothing against Stace/Stace’s place). 10/10 would absolutely stay here again!
