Family-friendly holiday rentals in Solana Beach

This is a great rental for a family. There is plenty of beach equipment as well as equipment for toddlers if needed. Being dog-friendly is a major plus. The house is in a quiet neighborhood which is nice for walking and it is a short drive to restaurants and the beach. We took advantage of the hot tub and the very relaxing back yard.

The location was great, close to many restaurants and shops, great ocean breeze, great ocean view from the room, beautiful grounds, and 5 minutes from my sons house on Camp Pendleton!

"Just Beachy" is a fantastic, absolutely clean accommodation with an exceptional location right on the beach. Everything you need is there...and more. Contact with Lorraine was always "just in time" and provided all the necessary information, and the digital guide also contains everything you need about the entire complex. We had an amazing stay at Nicklas’s place in San Diego! The condo is beautifully renovated and right on the waterfront—waking up to those ocean views was such a treat. The kitchen and bathroom were fully stocked with everything we needed, making our stay super comfortable and convenient. You can tell a lot of thought has gone into making the space feel like a true home away from home. We would absolutely love to stay here again in the future. Highly recommend!

I stay in many rentals. It's the little things like coffee pods, bath products, pool towels, good tp - that make Robyn's place all 5 stars.

Nestled right by the ocean (2mi), it’s a peaceful, serene retreat with beautiful greenery and a calming atmosphere that melts all your stress away. Every corner of the space is beautifully maintained and thoughtfully designed for comfort and relaxation. If you’re looking for a quiet, luxurious, and welcoming escape by the sea, look no further. Leanne and Jim’s place is a hidden gem, and we can’t recommend it highly enough. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!

Our stay in Bird Rock was amazing. This rental was exactly what we were looking for. Super accessible to everything we needed. Short drive to beaches and restaurants (if you want to go further into La Jolla). Plentiful coffee, pastries, açaí bowls all around. It was great spending mornings on the roof top patio drinking our coffee and planning the day. 10/10 would stay again. Thanks Matt!

We had a fabulous time at the Granny Flat! Everything was pristine and Kristen has thought of every amenity. She was kind and responsive. We loved the peaceful backyard with gorgeous views. The location is super convenient and a max of 25-30 mins to anywhere else in the SD area. Our pups had a great time, too! Would love to stay here again!

We absolutely loved staying here! The place is so cute & cozy. If we find ourselves back in San Diego we will definitely be booking this place.

This is the second time I have stayed at Nicole's place. The location is great, we walked to restaurants, grocery store and of course, the beach! Nicole's place is so comfortable. Nicole is also very quick to respond. Check-in and check-out was simple. I will definitely check availability here the next time I will be in Encinitas!

Kathi and Byron are great hosts and the place is beautiful, exactly as described. This is my third time staying here in a year. I absolutely love it! The location is perfect...so close to the beach. I appreciate that it has beach chairs, etc. to take to the beach. I am so glad I discovered Seaside Village, and am already looking at dates for my next trip.

We had an amazing week in Oceanside! This condo is very cozy yet has modern upgrades. There are great views from all of the windows. It is so nice to listen to the ocean at all times. Everything is in walking distance. We will definitely be back again.

Quiet location, exactly as pictured and described. Parking could be a challenge if you have a large vehicle but being able to park in the garage made it easier. Great communication!

I loved the location, we could walk to coffee in the morning. A few great food options are close. The kitchen was fully equipped for anyone wanting to cook, we didn't because the food choices were too good in the area.
