Cottage holiday rentals in Sognefjord

We had a lovely stay in the cabin during February. Very cosy, warm and had all we needed. The hot tub was a great addition. Great location for skiing and winter activities near the ski senter. Stian and all other hosts were very helpful and easy to communicate with. Tussen takk :)

Thea’s place was absolutely incredible. She took the time to come outside and greet us so that we could get familiar with where everything was. The place was adorably decorated, clean, and private. The hot tub was also incredible and probably one of the most comfortable we’ve been in. If we are ever in the area again, this is the first place we’ll book.

We had a great stay despite the rain, the house was lovely and cosy. The boys loved being near the fjord and beach. The sauna unexpected extra. Sverre was easy to contact and friendly. The whole experience was super laidback. Thank goodness the sun came out for our last couple of days.

we spent a week on Bergen and surroundings, and two days in this accommodation, clean, well arranged, classy, well heated, functional. a bit far from everything! car required. jaccusi extra... a little unfortunate, but correctly placed on the terrace it is exceptional to use.

Really had the best time here. Firepit and sauna where great. Loved the place.

This is a wonderful cottage and the view was just as beautiful as the pictures make it look. Everything was clean and the kitchen was perfect to cook and chill out too. Only thing to note, if you use public transport than you are a good hour outside of Bergen. The buses go regularly but it takes a while to get into Bergen, where most activities start from. It worked out for me as I wanted to do a bit more relaxing and slow travel. Also there is nice hiking around. But for some this might be a bit far from the hustle and bustle of Bergen, if that is what you are looking for.

We had a lovely stay at Eddie's cabin. We had plenty of space, a beautiful view, & everything we needed. The cabin is quietly situated in a valley close to the most amazing mountain & fjord scenery. It is a calm & tranquil place to return to after a day in the mountains. Hope to return one day.

Incredible views from this beautiful home. Very comfortable home and so peaceful. Definitely recommend this home!

This is 3 year in a row we stay at Heidi's place, passing through. A group of friends of 8 who came this time and Heidi made arrangements for it, even though it was basically room for 6. Very happy that everything goes so smoothly and easily here, and will also come back next year, on our way to Lærdal and football cup.

Very nice old little house in rural surroundings. Well-equipped kitchen, comfortable and new bathroom. Listen between rooms/floors. Nice garden and patio. Very clean and tidy.

Perfect stay for us during our exploration of the fjords. Had plenty of comfy beds, modern renovated bathroom with a washer and dryer, and the added perk of heated floors downstairs. Was also nestled in the most lovely valley. Couldn’t ask for more!

An amazing place with great views. Marianne/Daniel was always very responsive and on hand if we need anything. Would highly recommend.

Great place to stay with great views and very comfortable.The room is very clean and the facilities are complete and perfect for a big person to stay with.The only thing that is not very convenient is that the house is on the hill, and the nearest supermarket is a 15-20 minute drive, which is a bit of a hassle for us to buy our own food and start cooking.Everything else was perfect, the host stayed in the villa opposite and was very welcoming.We drove 2 hours and went to the geiranger fjord for a perfect weekend.

We had a very nice stay at Asbjørn's house. He will pick you up and take your belongings to the cottage as this is on private property. We were used to driving to our cottage ourselves, but because Asbjørn responded so well and quickly this was also fine. You can leave your own car in a private parking lot. The house is very nice and you have beautiful views of the Fjord! It is a large house, where there are still a lot of personal things from the owners, so it feels very homey. What we really liked is that it is a good combination between peace and convenience, if you are in around/in the house it feels private, but the shops and restaurants are a 5 to 10 minute walk. In addition, we liked how open and helpful Asbjørn was, we were allowed to wash our own clothes in their washing machine. We thought it was a wonderful option to discover the Fjords, and still be a little away from mass tourism.

Awesome place, easy check-in, in a very private area beside a church. Ample parking space. The place was very well equipped with a full kitchen, oven, induction, microwave, washing machine etc. Stairway to the 2nd floor was a little steep but not an issue if careful. The house is full of old and interesting furniture and decor. Bed mattress was very comfortable.

What an amazing place!! A very cute and cozy cottage with a spectacular view. We thought that it would be a wonderful place for someone to finish that novel they’ve been working on. 😄 Arild was very helpful and quickly answered all of the questions we had. I only wish we could have stayed longer.

We simply Loooved Emilie's and Elna's place. Such a priviledge that they shared their home with us. We didn't even want to explore much of the surroundings because it was simply exactly what we needed - watching the waves and water, the clouds and the everchanging weather (torrential rain, wind, sun - all in one day). Just what the doctor ordered! And we could watch that from the deck, but also from inside when the wind and cold got a bit too much outside ;) Even the boys just enjoyed hanging out. And in addition for the home to be so wonderful, Elna and Emilie are such wonderful hosts. They go way beyond and above anyone could expect of a host. We would love to come back.

Super nice host, really nice house in a lovely location when skiing! Sunny porch with plenty of seating and good parking space. Recommended!
