The house off the beaten track. If you want be totally alone in the woods in a house steeped in history, this is the place. Most of the inventory is historically and intact. A mini museum. Close by the house runs a river where you can fish small trout or swim. There are several nice waterfalls close by. Hiking trails up the mountain starts just 200 m from the house. Cabin/boathouse by the sea for rent, (boathouse by the sea with privat pier). New renovated apartment by the sea in beautiful Strandebarm. Great to swim and good fishing conditions. If you like use a boat you can rent one from us. Near the shop and petrol station. Want to walk in the mountains there are many beautiful hikes in the area. Trolltunga hike 1 1/2 houer drive, Folgefonn Glacier 40 min drive Nearest airport is BGO Bergen Flesland airport. 1 hour and 20min by car.

Summer: the cabin is 1 min from the lake just walking distance at the back of the main house. We have sitting area by the lake and sitting area by the small river (this is nearest to the cabin). Feel free to choose. Winter: The cottage is a 20 mins drive to Rauland Ski Center. You can also ski on the frozen lake. Cross country is also a possibility near the area. Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Has access to lake. Great way to spend your summer.

The "Firehouse" was built in 2004 with everything of modern qualities. There are heating cables in the floor, a private terrace, a great wood-burning oven and cultivation area just outside. The house has a bedroom and a loft. Just outside the door you will find popular hiking and biking trails. 6 min drive to Sogndal center, 4 min away is Kaupanger center with grocery and ViteMeir center, nice for big and small! 2 min away you will find pool, playground and gym.

The place is about 20 -30 min from Dalen, Lårdal, Åmot, Rauland and Seljord.
