Amazing place, perfect base

Clean, pretty apartment just as described , with spectacular view. Friendly and responsive hosts.

On a road trip through Norway, we made a stopover here and felt very comfortable. Everything was clean, the communication was great and the check-in was very easy. You have a great view of the place and the home cinema is awesome :D The family is separated by a curtain in the staircase - cool solution, so you feel like you are with the family in the house, but everyone stays very discreet. We found it very cozy and relaxing.

We had a good time! Everything was as it should be and worked well. Recommended!

A house with a stunning view!! The location is perfect, with a supermarket right behind you. The hosts are extremely friendly and ready to help with anything. The place is fully equipped with everything you might need. My family and I really enjoyed our stay!

The house was very good, the location was very good for us, because the next day we went to Nigarsbreen and it is only 45 min. The house was very clean and we had a very pleasant stay. We only spent one night

We had some trouble getting into the property because we didn't have the code at check-in. The accommodation was clean and well-equipped, especially suitable for two people. The noise from the main road is noticeable inside, but not likely to disturb sleep, after a busy day...

The place was wonderful and we enjoyed it thoroughly and as a family we felt very welcome and at home. We are looking forward to coming back here ❤️

Very nice house. Absolutely comfortable. Felt like at home. Cecilie was very kind to allow me late check out. She also helped me to park my car for 10 days before my check in date (when I went for 10 days cruise from Bergen).

Christen is unlike any other host. He met me at the bus stop and helped me with the luggage. He has a handwritten book of recommendations on where to eat and what to do, along with helpful instructions for the stay. He had left a bottle of wine, and cookies and coffee for me, which was very thoughtful. The place is super walkable to the city centre and the tour/airport bus stops. While central, it’s also tucked away from all the city centre madness and thereby offers a quiet and relaxing place to stay after a busy day of exploring the beauty of Norway. Christen was very friendly, flexible and welcoming. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a central place to stay in Bergen (as long as they don’t mind climbing up a few flight of stairs). Thanks for the lovely time in Bergen, Christen! Hope to stay here again when my travels bring me back to the incredibly beautiful city of Bergen. :) Cheers!

Lovely apartment with picture postcard views

A great accommodation, super bed nicely furnished, because in the basement, hardly any daylight, but since it was raining it did not matter.

what a great place!! so clean, spatious, you will have anything you need and the view is simply breathtaking!! so peaceful and the hosts are always available to help and responsive. Best airbnb I've had in Norway so far..Thank you for everything!!

Really sweet apartment in a perfect location with beautiful streets around and lovely restaurants and bakeries close by! Great to have so many walks from the doorstep. Would highly recommend for any couple visiting Bergen.

Super helpful and responsive host. Lovely apartment in great location for town and skiing (downhill and cross country). Easy walk to shops, and the highland lodge pool/gym/sauna/bakery just next door are great. For skiing we walked to bus stop up the road with young kids and it was ok, but did have to carry their skis :) Apartment gets great sun in the afternoon, perfect on the balcony!

The apartment was a great stay again. It was very comfortable, homely and suitable for our family to cook and relax after a days skiing. With less snow this year we had a different view but got to walk to the beach. I hope we can come again next year. Thanks for hosting!

The stay at Joakim’s was very pleasant. He was very communicative and was very available for anything we may have needed.

Beautiful 2-storey apartment, with everything you need: bathroom, washing machine, 2 separate bedrooms, small kitchen with 2 hobs and a combi-microwave. Beautiful view of the lake and parking on private property. The apartment complex has an elevator, but it is out of service. So, be aware that you will have to walk up stairs. Grete herself responded very quickly and proactively to our messages. Nice host to communicate.

Modern apartment with new furniture and kitchen, everything tip-top, in the house there is a warm pool and table tennis table, really great. The traffic in front of the house is already noticeable, but you can be in Gudvangen on the Næroyfjord in 20 minutes. Great communication with the host.

We are so happy we found this place! Great place where it was easy to find peace, both outside in the garden and inside. Very pleasant hosts who enhanced the experience of feeling welcome and at home. Great communication throughout. We will definitely book here at a later time. I highly recommend both the place and the hosts to others!

All in all a fantastic nice weekend in quiet and beautiful surroundings. Short distance to beautiful nature, quiet and peaceful neighborhood, welcoming and friendly host who could both tip us about hiking opportunities and turn off a friendly chat.
