Cottage holiday rentals in Sognefjord

We had a lovely stay in the cabin during February. Very cosy, warm and had all we needed. The hot tub was a great addition. Great location for skiing and winter activities near the ski senter. Stian and all other hosts were very helpful and easy to communicate with. Tussen takk :)

Thea’s place was absolutely incredible. She took the time to come outside and greet us so that we could get familiar with where everything was. The place was adorably decorated, clean, and private. The hot tub was also incredible and probably one of the most comfortable we’ve been in. If we are ever in the area again, this is the first place we’ll book.

Wir haben die Zeit im Haus von Sverre sehr genossen. Es ist ein kleines Cottage dicht am Fjord. Es ist ein altes Haus mit viel Charakter und individueller Einrichtung. Die Küche ist super ausgestattet. Insgesamt hat das Haus viel zu bieten mit Sauna, einem Pizzaofen und Grillgelegenheit. Sverre und Kristin sind gut zu erreichen und hilfreich.

nous avons passé une semaine sur bergen et alentours, et deux jours dans ce logement, propre, bien agencé, classe, bien chauffé, fonctionnel. un peu loin de tout ! voiture obligatoire. jaccusi en supplément... un peu dommage, mais placé correctement sur la terrasse il est exceptionnel à utiliser.

Really had the best time here. Firepit and sauna where great. Loved the place.

This is a wonderful cottage and the view was just as beautiful as the pictures make it look. Everything was clean and the kitchen was perfect to cook and chill out too. Only thing to note, if you use public transport than you are a good hour outside of Bergen. The buses go regularly but it takes a while to get into Bergen, where most activities start from. It worked out for me as I wanted to do a bit more relaxing and slow travel. Also there is nice hiking around. But for some this might be a bit far from the hustle and bustle of Bergen, if that is what you are looking for.

We had a lovely stay at Eddie's cabin. We had plenty of space, a beautiful view, & everything we needed. The cabin is quietly situated in a valley close to the most amazing mountain & fjord scenery. It is a calm & tranquil place to return to after a day in the mountains. Hope to return one day.

Incredible views from this beautiful home. Very comfortable home and so peaceful. Definitely recommend this home!

Dette er 3 året på rad vi overnatter hos Heidi, på gjennomreise. En vennegjeng på 8 som kom denne gangen, og Heidi la til rette for det, selv om det i utgangspunktet var plass til 6. Veldig fornøyd med at alt går så greit og lett her, og kommer også tilbake neste år, på vår veg til Lærdal og fotballcup.

Kjempe fint gammelt lite hus i landige omgivelser. Ok utstyrt kjøkken, behagelig og nytt bad. Lytt mellom rommene/etasjene. Pen hage og uteplass. Meget rent og pent.

Perfect stay for us during our exploration of the fjords. Had plenty of comfy beds, modern renovated bathroom with a washer and dryer, and the added perk of heated floors downstairs. Was also nestled in the most lovely valley. Couldn’t ask for more!

An amazing place with great views. Marianne/Daniel was always very responsive and on hand if we need anything. Would highly recommend.

非常棒的住宿体验，周边风景优美，非常惬意。房间非常干净，各设施完备，非常适合一大家子人一起住。唯一不太方便的就是，房子在山上，最近的超市开车都要15-20分钟，这对于自己买菜开火做饭的我们来说有点麻烦。其他都很完美，房东住在对面的别墅，非常热情。我们开车2小时，去了geiranger峡湾游览，度过了一个完美的周末。

Veldig vennlig og imøtekommende vert! Kommunikasjon gikk bra da jeg reserverte huset til mine kolleger. Det var varmt og komfortabelt ved ankomst, og de hadde det koselig under hele oppholdet. Huset var rent og godt utstyrt. Anbefales på det sterkeste!

We hebben een heel fijn verblijf in Asbjørn zijn huis gehad. Hij haalt je op en neemt je spullen mee naar het huisje, omdat dit op privé terrein staat. We waren gewend om altijd zelf naar onze huisje te rijden, maar omdat Asbjørn zo goed en snel reageerde was dit ook prima. Je eigen auto kun je achterlaten op een privé parkeerplaats. Het huis staat heel mooi en je hebt prachtig uitzicht op het Fjord! Het is een groot huis, waar nog veel persoonlijke dingen van de eigenaren staan, dus het voelt heel huiselijk. Wat wij heel fijn vonden is dat het een goede combinatie is tussen rust en gemak, als je in rondom/in het huis bent voelt het privé, maar de winkels en restaurants liggen op 5 a 10 minuten lopen. Daarnaast vonden we het fijn hoe open en behulpzaam Asbjørn was, we mochten zelf onze kleren wassen in hun wasmachine. Wij vonden het een prachtige optie om de Fjorden te ontdekken, en toch een beetje weg te zijn van het massatoerisme.

Awesome place, easy check-in, in a very private area beside a church. Ample parking space. The place was very well equipped with a full kitchen, oven, induction, microwave, washing machine etc. Stairway to the 2nd floor was a little steep but not an issue if careful. The house is full of old and interesting furniture and decor. Bed mattress was very comfortable.

What an amazing place!! A very cute and cozy cottage with a spectacular view. We thought that it would be a wonderful place for someone to finish that novel they’ve been working on. 😄 Arild was very helpful and quickly answered all of the questions we had. I only wish we could have stayed longer.

We simply Loooved Emilie's and Elna's place. Such a priviledge that they shared their home with us. We didn't even want to explore much of the surroundings because it was simply exactly what we needed - watching the waves and water, the clouds and the everchanging weather (torrential rain, wind, sun - all in one day). Just what the doctor ordered! And we could watch that from the deck, but also from inside when the wind and cold got a bit too much outside ;) Even the boys just enjoyed hanging out. And in addition for the home to be so wonderful, Elna and Emilie are such wonderful hosts. They go way beyond and above anyone could expect of a host. We would love to come back.

Superhyggelig vert, kjempekoselig hus med nydelig beliggenhet når man skal på ski! Solfylt veranda med nok av sitteplasser og god parkeringsplass. Anbefales!
