The Cardinal Cabin is where rustic charm meets modern comforts. The cabin was spotless and comfortably furnished, including a well-appointed kitchen. Everything we needed for an enjoyable, stress-free stay was provided. The abundance of birds serenade the morning while the crickets and frogs welcome the evening. A beautiful mother fox and her kits frolicking around the property provided some fun wildlife watching. There are neighbors close by; however, everyone was friendly and respected the sanctity of the peaceful area. Brittany is a wonderful host who provided a wealth of information on the ins-and-outs of the property, things to do in the area and dining options. She made sure we felt right at home. We will definitely stay at Cardinal Cabin in the future!

It was very relaxing and clean. We liked the screened in pouch where We could watch birds come to our the feeder and I hear them singing in the wooded area. We were only there for one night. The deer didn’t come the night we were there while we were awake. Jeff puts out corn for them each night. There is also a cabin in the woods that has a small lake that we didn’t see . We enjoyed our conversations with Jeff.
