This 4-season shipping container cabin has a master bedroom, electricity, wood-fired hot tub, heat, wood stove, indoor bathroom with shower, mountain views, star-gazing patio, La Colombe coffee service, gas grill, kitchen, and fire ring. Warm in the winter and cool in the summer. It sits on 20 acres, two hours north of NYC. Hiking trails, Woodstock, Kingston, Saugerties or the Hudson River 20 min away. The Cabin - Ski House near Windham

The Cabin is set back, secluded, unbelievably cozy and wonderfully romantic. It's a place to reconnect and recharge, to listen to the river and hear the wind through the trees and indulge in slow lunches and long walks and truly marvel at the Catskills. There's hiking in the summer, skiing in the winter, mountain fresh air and dark, starry nights. This is a house, and you can treat it as such. But if you let go, and give in to the energy of a space created with love, this will feel like home.

Enjoy an old-fashioned vacation right across the street from the Hudson river. Watch the tides, boats, and barges pass by. Dining, kayaking within walking. Historic Hudson, Olana just 10 min. drive. This is a house to relax, use as a base for other activities. It is not intended as a place to party.. It is a quiet neighborhood. I expect my guests to respect that. There is a weekend special. You may see Carolina Wrens, Cardinals, Chickadees, Woodpeckers, Goldfinches and Hummingbirds. The creek to the front attracts Bald and Golden Eagles, Osprey, Blue Herons, Red Tail Hawks, Ducks and Geese. ABSOLUTELY NO PETS ALLOWED.
