Beautiful location, peaceful surroundings, aesthetically furnished, spacious and has a nice open space behind the property for sitting or taking a walk. We could also spot a few birds around the property!

The room and toilet are pretty clean. Beds are comfy. I think you need ask for en-suite room if you need one. Gotta bring your own towels. There are no fans in the room, but it was pleasant during the time we visited. Property has a balcony sit out area, and enjoyed being there. Birding guide and transport with driver were arranged by the homestay. And, both of them are very nice people. Food was so comforting. Small provision stores nearby. Homestay also offered pickup and drop off from Bagdogra airport. No other rooms were occupied, so it was just 2 of us girls, and we felt absolutely safe in the homestay and also during birding activity.

As a professional traveler , I mostly travel alone. This time my decision to stay at Fursat Home stay is the one of greatest decision of mine. Tshirin brother and Her wife is so much helpful as well as cooking is so much awesome. Tshirin brother Hosts me the local areas as well as the adventure travels inside forest. those are my out of expectations but total worth value return travel ever. i highly recommend this stay

We stayed at Sreyas Homestay in Takdah for 3 days, and it was truly a surreal experience. Nestled amidst the forest, the homestay offers breathtaking mountain views and peaceful surroundings that feel like a true escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The 200-metre walk downhill to the house is a bit of a challenge but totally worth it for nature lovers. Sreya, the host, is warm, attentive, and genuinely cares about her guests' comfort. She even accompanied us on a hike to show us the hidden beauty of Takdah. The food served is simple, homely. It takes about 2–3 hours by car from NJP to reach her place. If you're looking for peace, nature, and heartfelt hospitality, this is the perfect retreat.
