Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Sister Bay

Dan & Beth said they wanted us to feel at home and we certainly did! We had 7 adults in our group & we talked about the house & cost to stay there. We all agreed it was absolutely worth every cent. Dan couldn’t have been more helpful whenever we reached out with a question. Being right on the beach was magical. Fires at night with a plentiful supply of dry wood was a nice surprise! Anything you could possibly think of was at our disposal! Even the refrigerator was pristine, which in my experience, doesn’t always happen in a rental. We will miss Sandvik house!

Perfect lakeside getaway! This lakehouse exceeded all our expectations! The property was immaculate and beautifully maintained - you can tell the owners take great pride in their home. Communication was seamless from booking through checkout, and they were incredibly responsive to any questions we had. The hot tub was amazing, we spent hours relaxing in it while taking in the stunning lake views. Having the beach just steps from the backyard was a game-changer for our family. The house had everything we needed and more. The location offers the perfect blend of relaxation and fun activities.

Our stay at Alyssa's couldn't have been better! Her home was not only inviting and cozy but was also exceptionally clean and comfortable; everything was spotless! Our family of 6 had plenty of room and felt right at home. And, Alyssa was a wonderful host...very friendly, welcoming, and responsive. We'd definitely rebook with her the next time we are in the area.

We had a fantastic stay! The house was spotless, well-stocked, and incredibly comfortable. After staying in several Airbnbs, it was refreshing to find a host who truly thought of all the little details that make a stay feel special. From the starter supplies to thoughtful touches throughout the home, we felt well taken care of from the moment we arrived. All we had to bring was our food, beverages and personal items. The hosts were proactive, responsive, and easy to communicate with. We would absolutely stay here again!

We loved our stay at Alyson’s property. It had everything we needed, was incredibly clean, and the beds were so comfortable. The fire pit, grill, and outdoor seating were added bonuses. Restaurants and the public beach at Sister Bay were a quick 5 minute drive away. Would definitely stay here if we return to the area!

My friends and I absolutely loved our stay at Sister Bay Haus. Gorgeous home that felt cozy and elegant at the same time. Great amenities. Close to places we wanted to visit. The hosts are wonderful! I highly recommend a stay here!

We had a last minute problem with our reservation at a nearby place and made a last minute request to stay at Pam's. She responded within minutes and we were on our way. Pam's place is in a great location, is very spacious and was perfect for our needs. The place is very clean, very nicely decorated and well maintained. We would love to stay here again.

Our party of 3 enjoyed Hinter Haven as a great home base for all sorts of fun activities and dining in the area. We built a cozy fire outside and enjoyed the serene beauty of the wooded site immensely. The screen porch was also enjoyed by all. Inside, the beds were comfortable and all amenities of a fully functioning household were there.

Great place to stay! You can walk to lots of shops and restaurants. The bed is comfortable and the place is great!

Great spot, we had four people and we spread out. We could order from the restaurant and stop in and pick up so nice.

I had an amazing stay in Door County at Nicole’s place! The location is perfect, right next to a beautiful nature preserve, offering a peaceful and serene environment both inside and out. Highly recommend!

We enjoyed our stay at Lauri's loft. While it is not luxurious, it is very clean and well appointed. In particular, the kitchen had pretty much everything you could ask for in a short stay. It was very comfortable and we greatly appreciated being able to stay there with our dog. We enjoyed the close walk to town and easy access everywhere. Highly recommend this stay!

Very cozy and easy to find, perfect place to stay if traveling solo or with a partner. In a safe and convenient location, with easy access to all the hot spots in Fish Creek and area. Walking distance to Penninsula State Park. The shop below was fun to visit with kind staff.

Soo absolutely adorable!! We LOVED the sliding (barn) school office doors and all the vintage/retro decor!! Both of us being school teachers we loved all the school vibes and all the fun little touches! So much attention to detail! My hubby had a blast playing Pac Man & the other arcade games! The bed was comfy and the whole place was super cozy! He did amazing with the use of space! Within walking distance of the cutest coffee shop: 5J. Sturgeon Bay is the perfect starting base for exploring the "thumb" lol! ;)

This place was perfect for our family! The large backyard was perfect for outdoor games for all the kids and the pool was very nice! Bonus that we could walk to the winery and cheese store! Very convenient location for exploring all of door county!

Quiet, restful location. The little porch was a nice touch. On the small side. Perfect for a couple, as I can't imagine sharing the space with kids. The location is perfect for exploring the Door. We did not use the pools, but would have if we remembered our suits! Well stocked kitchen if you feel like cooking, but no salt/pepper could be found. A pleasant stay overall!

I was very happy with my stay. Place was exactly as advertised, and loved the added amenity of a 24 hour (adults only) pool located just a short walk away. Location was prime for Door County, located right between Sturgeon Bay and Sister Bay, making it easily accessible and drivable for all the wineries and sight-seeing you want to do in the peninsula. Jared’s apartment was in a perfect location on the peninsula. It’s fairly centralized to all of the activities that my family and I wanted to do (20-30 minute drives to popular attractions in door county; state parks, beaches, kayaking, shops, ice cream parlors, etc.). It was perfect walking distance to attractions in downtown Sister Bay (~5-10 walk max). The apartment is on top of a hill so depending on your food coma after dinner, it may feel like a hike. The house was very clean, nicely decorated. All of the essential amenities were available for use and some extras as a plus! Jared was easy to communicate with and gave clear instructions and house rules. Nice neighborhood and well lit. No safety concerns especially with traveling with a toddler. We would love to come back again and stay in this listing.

We had a wonderful time staying at Renae's place for our weekend getaway and it was absolutely beautiful. The view out of the window is breathtaking and the apartment itself is really well kept. Renae was a really nice host with great communication and had special touches throughout the place that made the stay very memorable. We would definitely come back to stay here when visiting in the future.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful, spotless condo. We had everything we needed and the location was great with shops, restaurants and park within easy walking distance. Maddie provided excellent local recommendations and was very responsive, communicating everything we needed to know. Highly recommend this condo and outstanding host!

Veronica was simple excellent. The place was amazing and so cute and clean. Any questions were answered so quickly. Our group didn’t have a phone that accommodated the speaker that was there and Veronica went out of her way to get a new one and drop it off for us to use. It made the weekend so much more fun and I simply couldn’t believe the effort she put in to make sure our stay was amazing. I cannot recommend this stay enough!!
