This is a working farm with a vineyard, apple orchard, raspberries, and a large green garden. The house is located on the old mission peninsula. There are wonderful restaurants and wineries within minutes and town is a short 7 mile jaunt away. The house is quite modern downstairs with eames furniture and other retro touches all open spaces with views in every direction. The bedroom retains the old farmhouse feel with oak trim and antique furnishings. Your bedroom has a king seize bed and is very large. It overlooks a wonderful field and farmhouse. You have your private bathroom, just across the hall. The house is air-conditioned. We can't accommodate children + pets, and we don't allow smoking in the house.
“Irene and her husband were wonderful hosts. The space was sparkling clean and the location is ideal! I was 8 months pregnant at the time and this couldn't have been an easier vacation for us -- so relaxing! We hadn't spent much time on Old Mission aside from visiting wineries prior to this trip, but it was a really wonderful base for our travels. Every morning we walked the grounds of the property with coffee, and were able to both run and bike to other places located nearby. The flower farm down the road was a nice visit, too. Thanks Irene! We'll be back!”

“The best place to stay in Bellaire for two people by far! The yard & views of the river are so beautiful. The accommodations were far better than I expected. So many additional touches. The room is super cozy & has your every need. The location is perfect. We walked down town every night for food and a pint. No driving necessary. You can also paddle a kayak or sup down the river in the backyard. The hosts are so generous and kind. I will definitely be staying again in the future.”
Up north at its best! Stay in a custom cabin in the middle of Rocky Top Farms, a cherry orchard. Please read this listing completely!
“Oh my, the little cabin is the perfect spot for two people to relax and unwind! We spent our honeymoon here after covid derailed our original plans. WE LOVED IT SO MUCH. There is a nice deck to sit on and breakfast/lunch/dinner, an awesome hot tub under the stars, and the set up is super cozy. It's set far enough away to enjoy some peace and quiet in nature, but close enough to drive to Bellaire, Charlevoix, Torch Lake, and Petoskey. The hosts were so kind when we bumped into them when our dog got off her leash, and again when we had a few questions as we were cleaning up and heading out. We left the cabin only a few times--we honestly just loved roaming the grounds, taking our dogs for a walk on the disc golf course, cooking meals in the kitchen, playing games, and sitting in the hot tub. We did not want to leave! 10/10 100% A++++ all the gold stars. Note: We did bring our two pups with us-- a shepherd mix and an old yorkie. The old yorkie is very protective and takes a while to warm up to other dogs. The two dogs on the farm will come up and greet you and want to play with your pups. They are friendly and our shepherd mix got along with them great, but our little yorkie did not. They got into a bit of a barking match through the sliding door and in retrospect I probably should've left the yorkie at home. This was at no fault to the hosts or their dogs-- the hosts even came to pick up their pups when they heard the barking. It's more for future guests to be mindful of their dogs and if it's a good fit to bring them along!”
