Great find! Felt like a kid again. It was a real adventure staying here.Felt so cozy and well designed.Lots to do in Nailsworth and the surrounding area.Dave was very helpful and looked after us well.Thankyou for making us so welcome.

We were 5 adults and an 11 year old staying for 3 nights. The cottage was beautiful - rustic with everything you need. Alice and Louise were very accommodating and friendly. There was a power cut when we arrived but they let us have use of the camper oven for our potatoes. The surroundings are really beautiful. Loads of wildlife, swimming and fishing in river. Great walks.....would definitely stay there again!

Quiet, secluded, peaceful surroundings, spacious & comfortable accommodations. Can see why the Hen House consistently ranks as a top choice & A-bnb favorite. The Hen House has certainly become our favorite. Nicki & Johnny are fabulous hosts, considerate of guests' comfort & privacy. We were able to enjoy the meadow, long walks along the country roads, some fun table tennis, & quiet reading under the shade trees. A favorite time of day was having breakfast at the patio table just outside the door to the hen house, save a day or two, we had great weather for it. Wifi is excellent. Neil works remotely & never had a dropped conference call. There's plenty of games & DVDs for the rainy days; & the house is equipped with all the tools you'll need to keep it clean/tidy. I only wish I knew how to play the piano. I would have played a few tunes. If you enjoy birding, you'll love the birdsong & the birds that visit the garden, glorious. Truly a wonderful place to stay, enjoy & relax. Gracias!

Judith was great, as I had not read that the oven was a small box type. I brought a massive lasagne and I think it was slightly beyond the oven’s capability. After 40 mins when it was still not cooked through, I messaged Judith and she put it in her oven. She knocked later with my steaming hot perfectly cooked lasagne and a smile on her face. She was very helpful.

gorgeous place to stay, everything was clean and tidy. left us fresh bread when we arrived which tasted amazing. we found some nice walks nearby and really enjoyed the sun setting over the hills and being able to watch the stars as we fell asleep.

We had a lovely stay. The Annex provided a comfortable and pleasant environment. We appreciated the cozy atmosphere and thoughtful amenities. We would happily recommend this Annex to others. There are also extra towels for the hot tub and blankets for the garden. We can highly recommend Emma as a host. She was very helpful, offered us fresh milk for morning coffee, and recommended great places for food, etc. The information book was also very helpful.

We were 2 mums with 3 boys ranging from 2 to 8 yrs old. The cottage was perfect foe us and the boys loved seeing the lambs every day and having chance to bottle feed one of them each evening. There is loads to do with children in the local area and we had a fabulous stay. Our host were extremely helpful during our stay.

Beautiful one-bed converted hay store. At the end of a country lane, near Ross-on-Wye. Stef gave clear instructions and responded very quickly to messages. The view of sheep and horses gave a proper country feel.

I can’t recommend this place highly enough. Both couples in our party were highly impressed. Steven was very welcoming and we appreciated the supplies to get us started. Everything in the house is of a high standard and very comfortable. Outside there are superb views from outside seating and the hot tub. There is a good barbecue and we enjoyed cooking and eating outside. Llangollen, Bala, Ffestiniog and Snowdonia are nearby. Luke came and introduced himself and he and Steven are the perfect hosts, very charming and helpful but not intrusive or fussy. We definitely would love to come back

Lovely stay at Fiona and Richard’s place. The surroundings are beautiful and the barn has everything you need. Fiona was friendly and helpful. Lots of wonderful places to visit near by and plenty of walking. We had a very relaxed few days.

Clean, confortable, peaceful and well located. Top scones, especially if you get a Millie bonus. Lisa and Phil grand hosts. Would stay again.

Adele's gite was perfect for my short stay while visiting relatives. It was very clean and the bed was very comfortable as far as I was concerned. It had everything I needed including extras in the shower: shampoo, conditioner and shower gel. There is only a microwave which was fine as far as I was concerned but there are plenty of places around for eating out all listed out on helpful sheets provided by Adele. One thing, it does take a long time for the water to run hot, I almost gave up ;)

Hoo Lodge was exceptional. Andy was responsive, and welcomed us upon arrival. The studio was impeccably clean. We could tell they had taken great care to make sure everything was just perfect. Things we loved most about Hoo Lodge: the light, the gorgeous kitchenette, and sitting out on the lovely patio furniture enjoying the peaceful cotswolds setting. We hope to come back someday!

Hunters Lodge was one of the best stays we have had. Everything from the outside to the fixtures and furniture was top quality. The place itself is very quiet and private, good size for two guests, lovely comfy bed and an amazing hot tub that was great for cooling down on hot days and nice and warm on cool evenings. A truly beautiful building with amazing interiors.

Fabulous accommodation! Great place to chill out and get away. Set in amazing countryside with beautiful nature all around. Barleymow pub is a 10 minute walk across fields and not to be missed! Amy was a great host and made sure we had everything that we needed. Highly recommend m!

This property is just amazing. Beautifully furnished and laid out it really is a special find. Exceptionally comfy beds and the copper bath and jacuzzi are pure bliss and do a superb job of soothing tired achy muscles. All very private and secluded but owners are next to it on main house. Had a lovely chat with Rebecca . Would 100 % love to stay again in fact I loved it so much I added another night this time 👍

Lovely weekend at the little Smith and would recommend to anyone thinking of going, we will definitely be can soon. What a great place and host!!

Too magical to tell anyone about! But I can't help telling all my friends about the prettiest cottage in the most stunning setting I have just had the absolute pleasure to enjoy. Very dog friendly too - Mango had the best time too I think! Thanks you Lindsay and Mark. We will be back one day!

We had a wonderful stay at Amanda and Richard’s Airbnb! The location was absolutely beautiful and incredibly peaceful — the perfect escape. From the moment we arrived we felt warmly welcomed, especially with the lovely hamper and bottle of champagne. It was such a thoughtful touch that made the stay feel extra special. Amanda was a fantastic host — friendly, attentive, and clearly takes great pride in making sure her guests have the best experience. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway! We can’t wait to stay again!! Thank you for the most perfect stay :)

Richard's place has a lovely blend of feeling like you're in the middle of nowhere yet being only a 15 drive into thriving Buxton. It was warm, comfortable and a great size for a family get-together, with some amazing walks literally on your doorstep. We can all genuinely say we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

We have just spent 4 fabulous days at Joanne and Neil’s cottage. Very easy to find ( following the comprehensive directions from Joanne ) and beautiful in terms of the cottage itself and location. The cottage is beautifully decorated and curated inside and out and spotlessly clean. We would normally venture out to eat when staying away from home but happily ate at the cottage each evening as the kitchen is very well equipped and the dinning and lounge areas super cozy. Comfortable bed and very quiet location ensures a good nights sleep! Perfectly located to explore Hay on Wye and Brecon, and for hiking in the Brecon Beacons. A small local co-op and larger Morrisons in Brecon together with restaurants and bars within easy reach. You will need a car for all the above. Very kind and responsive hosts whose guests comfort and happiness at the cottage seemed a priority. Would stay again in a heartbeat ! Highly recommended.
