The house is clean and comfortable, suitable for one to two people. The house location and staying instruction provided are very clear. The response from the owner is quick and always nice. The house is with balcony and elevator which is a bonus! The house is close to restaurants and family-mart. Overall, it is a very enjoyable stay!

We really enjoyed our stay at this place. It is in a much quieter neighborhood and very peaceful during the evenings. 7/11 is across the road and a grocery store is right next door for anything you'd need. Train station and bus stops are extremely close.

Süße kleine Unterkunft, die alles hat, was man braucht. Wir haben uns wohl gefühlt und man ist schnell an der nächsten Haltestelle. Auch Wäsche waschen ist schnell und unkompliziert möglich. Eine gute Unterkunft für 5-7 Tage. Wir empfehlen die Unterkunft gerne weiter! 👌🏼

Great little apartment in Okubo, perfectly positioned between two JR stations which are less than 5 minutes walk away with tons of restaurants shops and convenience stores all at your doorstep. Apartment is clean and comfortably sleeps 2 with enough space to relax as well. Would stay again.

4인가족이라 보통 퀸베드 두개숙소에 묵었는데 싱글네개가 더 편하다는것을 알게되었습니다. 수건도 넉넉했고 필요한 물건은 다 있었어요.

Place was better than advertised. Very clean, well organized, large and spacious. The host Eric is responsive with providing directions and other periodic messaging regarding checkin and checkout procedures. That and reached out to us to ensure we had everything we needed prior to arriving. Absolutely zero issues while staying there. Local rail station very close and convenient when wanting to venture outside the Shinjuku area. Thank you Eric for hosting us and if my wife and I venture to Japan again next year. Sincerely hope that your place is available as I’d definitely stay there again.

It’s a homely stay on the ground floor, great for two! Clean space and not cluttered. Location is good with many bus options nearby. Near metro station as well, although not on the main line. Host is very responsive and helpful when we had an issue with locating the AirBnb upon check-in. Would recommend for a week’s stay in Tokyo!

Super easy stay. We especially liked having a baggage drop option hours prior to check-in as we arrived into Tokyo at noon. This gave us a bunch of time to explore the neighborhood. And it was great check-out was 11am versus all the other places we stayed was at 10am. Overall, we'd absolutely stay with Toshi again.

This was a convenient location. Shinjuku Station and Shinjuku Gyoen were within easy walking distance. The whole are is fully of restaurants and shops, including famous shopping locations for cameras and other items as well as the flagship store of Japan's largest bookstore chain. The accommodations were as advertised, clean and cozy, and in a quiet neighborhood offering a restful sleeping location after a busy Tokyo day. The host Maika was always a step ahead in communication and offered extensive recommendations on local eating spots and other services. I had a very relaxing stay and would certainly use this location again on my next trip to Tokyo.

We enjoyed our stay at the flat in Shinjuku. The location is good to explore Tokyo, you can reach the central areas quickly but it‘s still rather quiet. The flat is small (for Japanese standards normal) but sufficient for two people. It‘s a fair price and appears as on the picture. Lee was always very responsive and proactive and gave good instructions on how to find the apartment. The only thing we didn‘t like is that the bed is quite small for two people and there was a strange smell in the shower. We would come again when we are in Tokyo!

Our host Hikaru is one of the best host we had ever met! He always responded to our questions within a few minutes. He came over to the apartment to greet us in person when we arrived (11pm), made sure everything is fine and answered any questions we may have. He gave us many restaurent recommendations. We tried a few and were satisfied with them all. The apartment size is perfect for my husband and I. It is sparkling clean. Good size sleeping and dinning area. Comfortable beds. Air condition and washing machine works well. Bathroom size rather small, but ok with us. Location is very convenient , Yoyogi station is just 10 minutes walk away. One station away from Shinjuku or Harajuku, Shibuya, depends on which direction you take. The apartment is in a quiet residential cal-de-sac. Within 10 minutes walk there are many restaurants and Lawson and supermarket. We are totally happy staying at this apartment. Will definitely stay here again next time we visit Tokyo.

We had a fantastic stay at Taku's flat. The location was superb, just minutes from JR and metro stations with excellent city-wide connections. While the flat was compact on the fourth floor (not an issue for us), the small bathroom might be a tight squeeze for taller guests. The real highlight, however, was the exceptional hospitality of Taku and Yuki – their proactive and attentive care truly made our experience outstanding. Thank you, Taku and Yuki!

Such a great find! The flat is stunning and looks exactly as described, spacious and very nicely designed and decorated. The area is also very vibrant, loads of restaurant and the host kindly provide a long list of places to go

Gimmicky. I want to get that out of the way right now. This property is capitalizing off of having an onsen nearby with traditional looking Japanese bedding and decor. That's what got me, and it might be what's getting you...I would say that's probably not worth it. The place itself is fine. The bedding is fine, but in the end I chose this place over other cheaper options for the novelty, I feel I could have gotten a little bit better value elsewhere, but still overall happy with what I got and what I paid. I used the onsen once during my two week stay. I really like onsens, but this one is small, busy, and I just wasn't a fan. Service was awesome. He spoke great English, and helped me bring my heavy luggage up the stairs to my room. Overall, despite starting out critical here, this place is really nice and I like the quiet area next to nice walking paths. Lastly, I wish the place had a small dining table and chairs. You basically have to eat at a small low table on the floor.

It is a very central but also peaceful place to be staying during you trip! The public transport connections are amazing. It’s just a 10-15 Minute walk to Takadanobaba Station which is on the Yamanote Line Service! Also you can just take the Seibu-Shinjuku-Line to Takadanobaba Station if you don’t want to walk, which is only 2 minutes away by foot! The accomodation itself has everything you need. The only thing which we would have wanted was a microwave but you can also easily warm up your food on the stove! It was also very affordable price for two weeks during a high tourist season like Sakura season in a central location like Shinjuku!! Definitely would book my stay here again.

I had a wonderful stay at this house in Shinjuku! Despite being right in the heart of the city, the place was incredibly calm and relaxing — a perfect escape from the busy streets. The house was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed. Plus, it’s within walking distance to all the fun spots Shinjuku has to offer. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy the city while having a peaceful place to rest!

EleVen was very helpful with directions and responding to my questions about travel from the airport. She kindly arranged a car to pick us up and that was great. She even had drinks, juice and yogurt in the refrigerator for us. The apartment was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable and the air conditioning worked great. We loved having the washing machine and drying rack. On the last day we did run down to the lobby to use the coin dryers which was convenient to have. I would love to stay there again!

Exactly as advertised. Within 2 minutes walking distance from the subway station and a convenience store right in front of the building. Also very clean. However, given the small space, the fact that it’s not in central Shinjuku and the lack of an elevator (apartment is located on a 3rd floor through stairs) as well as of cooking facilities/tools, I would say the price is a bit too high. Mattresses are not soft (very Asia typical, but worth to keep in mind if you’re not used to it). But other than this, we had no issues during our stay and the place is perfectly fine to stay in for a couple of nights.
