Nice house, reasonable amount of space. We were seven and it worked well for us, if a little bit tight. It isn't a problem if you, like us, are only in the house to sleep and shower. It is a fair walk to ikebukoro station, but it's not bad. The host was nice, we didn't need much from them but we got a good impression.

A perfect Tokyo Central-East home! For two couples this was a fabulous, spacious, modern, well appointed house with easy acess to Asakusa, Ginza, Shinjuku, Ueno and the Keisei Skyliner for transport to/from Narita. We chose to taxi from the house to Nippori Station to catch the Skyliner, cost was 1200 JPY, very easy with the Go taxi app. You can grab a hot can of coffee at the Mini Stop (2min walk), the Family Marts at Iriya metro station (6min) or for that Showa period vibe check out Only Cafe (12min). Inageya Iriya Supermarket had everything we needed for meals, snacks and drinks. Our host Kyo-ya san was flexible and friendly, couldn’t ask for anything better, domo arigato gozaimasu :) This was the last of six AirBnB’s we stayed at during our Japan travel, and it was such a comfortable, quiet, and all round pleasant space to be in as we wound down to head home. 100 percent would stay again, great location and value for money.

For Tokyo this place was very roomy for 4 adults. Rooms were clean and comfortable especially the tatami room. The main living space was also very large for Tokyo. It’s in a quiet neighborhood in Ikebukuro and local train station was a 10min walk. Major Ikebukuro station is about a 15min walk and is very busy with lots of malls, shops and eating choices. Familymart is literally around the corner for morning breakfast and coffee. Bigger Familymart is about a 5 min walk. I was a little concerned about location but seriously was not an issue given the proximity of stations. 6min train ride to Shinjuku from Ikebukuro station.

Near Otsuza station for the Yamamote train line. This line takes you to Harajuko, Shimbuya, and Shinjuku within 20 mins. There is a 7 eleven near and lots of restaurants. Enough beds for 8 of my friends. The price was great. Loved my stay.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this exceptional Airbnb property with my family, and it was one of the best stays we've ever had. The host was incredibly responsive, honest, and considerate. Everything promised was delivered, and the host went above and beyond to ensure our stay was pleasant by providing thoughtful amenities like slippers, toothbrushes, seasonings, and adapters. The space itself was spacious, well-decorated, and impeccably clean. The attention to detail and the host's dedication to guest comfort made all the difference. We felt well taken care of throughout our stay and couldn't have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone looking for top-notch accommodation. Location was super convenient, the station is walking distance, there's a convenience store nearby, and the neighborhood is nice. The place itself was quite spacious and cozy. We arrived about 2 hours early because of our scheduled transport, and the owner allowed us to leave our bags for now while the unit is being setup. Very friendly and responsive, will book again in the future if nearby and working with a large group.

We had a wonderful stay at Kyoko‘s home in Shibuya. We are a family of six from the United States with two adults and four teenagers. The home was spacious and clean and easily accessible. The beds were comfortable, the air conditioning very functional and the kitchen well appointed. The shower was outstanding with excellent water pressure and plenty of hot water for the six of us to shower. The combination washer/dryer was large capacity, very convenient and worked very well. Most of all we enjoyed working with Kyoko herself. She was highly communicative, responsive and very helpful. I had multiple questions about her home as well as about details pertaining to our trip to Japan and she helped every time without hesitation. I would gladly stay at this property or any of her other properties again in the future.

Largely great stay! Place is as described and the host was perfectly communicative, helpful and flexible, great host. Home is beautiful and the location is wonderful, a quiet / residential area (with embassies, expats) but very close to Azubu and Hiro-o subways and shopping and dining etc. Just be aware that the home is unique, referred to by my co-traveler as a 'concrete palace' which seems apt. As others have mentioned, tight spiral stairway up to 4F may not be for everyone. And some weird quirks, like the shower, sink and toilet (4F) all in different spots, seems more designed for form rather than function. Also the concrete needs some work (esp 4F shower, as the host is aware and communicated about) and updating in a few places. Might be hard to live in long-term but made for a wonderful 4N stay overall (as long as you're ok with the stairs etc). Bonus ride to NRT was a nice touch, thank you

The host was super friendly and helpful. The husband and wife went above and beyond to help us plan transportation from the Airbnb to the airport. They were incredibly kind and supportive every step of the way. The house was spotless and very well-maintained. We truly appreciated their hospitality!

This was our 4th airbnb during our stay in Japan and by far our favorite!! It is such a clean, beautiful home in an amazing location. Only about 15-20 minutes by train to Tokyo and many of the surrounding cities. We were a group of 7 people and it was plenty spacious for us. Not to mention, the detail that this host put into the home really made it so comfortable. You can tell they really care about their guests. I really wish we could have stayed here longer!

Great home in a lovely, friendly neighborhood. The beds were a little uncomfortable but putting an extra comforter on top of the mattress helped. It has great amenities.

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was very close to lots of great restaurants and easy access to the subway. It is down a side street that is generally very quiet in the evenings but you only need to walk a couple of minutes to get into much livelier parts of the city. The place itself had everything we needed, would recommend.

First Yoshiya was amazing to deal with. Very kind and responsive. She had great advice and was beyond kind, friendly, and helpful. The house itself is very comfortable and great for families. Very clean and well appointed. The location was perfect for us. While outside of the center of Tokyo, there are tons of restaurants, bars, shops, and subway is only about a 6 min walk. The actual street the house is on is very quiet with no thru traffic. And the surrounding streets are full of amenities. If you want less touristy experience but still want convenience at your fingertips this place is ideal. For me, there were no obvious drawbacks. It can take 30-55mins to get to the tourist hotspots, depending on the time of day, but was very easy and I preferred the Kameari area. It was fun with more options for restaurants and shops than I could keep track of. Next time I am in Tokyo I will definitely be staying here again.
