Katie (and joey the dog) were excellent hosts and the cabin left nothing to be desired. Katie was always available and flexible, which made check-in very comfortable. The cabin was beautifully decorated in a maritime style and very clean, with lots of interesting reading material to learn new things about the area. We can highly recommend Katie's Fastnet Cabin!

What a stunning and beautiful place. You’re literally at the end of the country, looking out at the Atlantic. If you want to just check out and be close to the see and sky, I highly recommend. The Loft is a lovely, spacious and well equipped space. Everything you need is provided. Great space for a couple or family. I wish I’d seen it under starry skies! Crookhaven, Schull and Balleydehob are an easy drive for exploring. My only small things to be aware - drive to the Loft isn’t ideal for low cars. Also, given the remote location and drive there, I wouldn’t plan on going out to dinner and coming home in the dark. But that’s just me. Once I was at the property in the evening I didn’t leave. Small things, but just have in mind. It’s an exceptionally beautiful place and I feel lucky to have stayed here and had this experience.

Spotlessly clean. Bed was comfortable. Very quiet area, with car parking space outside. Location was convenient to Castletownbere, where I'd recommed both Murphy's restaurant, and McCarthy's bar.

What a fantastic spacious property and beautiful location. We had everything we needed for our 4 night stay, including the best weather. Catherine and Michael were very welcoming and it was lovely to share a bit of banter with Michael!
