Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Shasta County

We had an amazing weekend with my 2 boys and 2 of their friends! The house is ideal for families and kids, there is plenty of space and entertainment. The location is great, we just visited Burney Falls but Lassen Park entrance was right there, 20 mins away, very convenient for adventures. The hosts were great, clear communication and instructions. We enjoyed the stay!

A place right on the river is a magical thing. The morning bird chorus alone made it all worth it. Kids were happy. Dana has put so much care and attention into this home.

We had a great stay in Dunsmuir! The host provided very accurate and detailed directions, which made finding the house super easy. Check-in was smooth, and we were able to get inside without any issues. The house itself was spotless, spacious, and had a cozy, welcoming vibe—truly felt like a home away from home. Would definitely stay here again!

Loved our stay at the cabin. It's a surprisingly roomy and well-appointed place. The kitchen has everything you need to make great meals and everything was comfortable and cozy. It's quite close to the main Lassen entrance which made exploration easy and the little neighborhood is charming and quiet. Ron was super responsive and made everything easy.

We enjoyed our long weekend in the bungalow! The place was just as described, and Brandy was very responsive before and during our stay. The area is very residential, but not far (a 20+ minute walk down a hill) from restaurants and downtown Redding. All essential amenities were available, and it was nice to have a washer and dryer on the back deck.

We found the house to be very comfortable and clean. Beds were comfortable and they had actual curtains, so not much light came in (which I really appreciate.) We only stayed one night and didn’t use the kitchen so I can’t speak to the amenities there. But it’s right next to the lake, which makes for a nice, peaceful walk. Rodrigo was very communicative before our stay to update us on a few things, which was great. We’ll definitely consider staying here again!

The chalet was beautiful and the pride of ownership really shines. Larry and Christie keep the property looking green and lush, even in the dry summer. We loved spending time in the enclosed garden with our dog, and the open plan setup downstairs makes for a great gathering space. The pool/spa enclosed deck/patio is stunning, and the water was sparkling clean making for an enticing dip! Our kids loved the pool toys and we appreciated the thoughtful set up. There is no shortage of places to sit on this beautiful property. One morning we tried out the Blackstone grill and loved the breakfast experience. The weather was hot during our stay, but the AC inside was nice and cool. It can be a bit buggy in the evenings so pick up some citronella bracelets to wear in the evenings. I loved stargazing on the back deck. The host has a variety of magical lights and bug zappers set up on automatic that make the outdoor space stunning at night too. We enjoyed our first trip up to Shasta Lake!

This was a perfect family vacation for Father’s Day weekend. Lots to do with the pool and amenities close to the lake to have a boat day. Perfect. We would definitely come back again.

I had a great time with my family at Alex’s lovely home. I decided to plan a last minute getaway to celebrate a couple of graduations and just to get away - Alex’s place was perfect. We did exactly what we went for - swam and relaxed. Very nice home and pool. Quiet and peaceful neighborhood. We got take out a couple of nights and the places we chose were great and very close to Alex’s. His instructions were easy and straightforward. Easy communication. I would happily stay again and would highly recommend.

This is definitely a perfect getaway! I was roadtriping and stopped by Shingletown. Candess’s farm is huge and very beautiful. It’s for sure a wonderful place to have friends gathering, bbq, pool, animals, and all the natural beauty! The cabin is super super cute I literally screamed out when I stepped in, it’s exactly what you would imagine in the tales. Only thing was it didn’t have any service and I happened to get some work to do, and they kindly invited me to use the guest room which has internet. The night was amazing!

Awesome. The pool was exceptionally fantastic. The outdoor tables and sofa were great. We had a memorable family weekend at this place. The home is off the beaten path, in that it is down a gravel road. There are no restaurants or shops to walk to, so you have to like country living to rent this place. There were deer and squirrels visiting. Yet, it was about three minutes from the freeway (which was barely audible). The pool is enclosed in a sturdy steel fence. Our dog loved it here. The kitchen was well stocked. I recommend renting a boat on Shasta Lake from Anklers, about a 10 minute drive from this place.

Oh my goodness highly recommend. This was an amazing stay. Everything was perfect. Very comfortable. Awesome view. The kids just loved it. Definitely coming back.

Very cozy home! Beautiful pool and outdoor space! The neighborhood is very friendly and we enjoyed our walks in the morning.

We loved the stay and proximity to Lassen Volcanic National Park. The on-site amenities were great between the pool, hot tub, and variety of toys for the kids in the garage. The beds had great sheets and pillows and we appreciate how clean the property was for our arrival.

My stay at Linda's was only 1 night but if I am back in the area I will book again. She was flexible with my check in time when I needed to arrive late and her place is very comfortable. I had my kitty with me too and was very appreciative of her willingness to have my kitty too. Her place would be very comfortable for a much longer stay with the full kitchen and ample seating inside and outside.

I loved my stay in the Tiny House! Kelly was welcoming and let me know what to expect when I arrived. There were so many sweet touches that make it feel cozy and homey. I enjoyed the semi-outdoor experience. Felt like I was at a hot spring! Loved meeting Lexi as well. Highly recommend the Hedge Creek Falls trail if you want a sweet, easy hike!

Happy was a fantastic host! Great communication, friendly, quick to respond, very helpful, and informative. The property was truly lovely! It was spotless, comfortable, and spacious - nestled in a quiet, peaceful setting. Everything was perfect. We had an amazing stay here and we’d love to stay here again!

we are so excited when we got the warm welcome from Kristina on arrival. She even put the air conditioner on before we checked in. Really nice hostess she is. The house is well equipped both the kitchen and bathroom. A whole package of dishes and kitchen items, we feel just like at home. We just got back from 4 days here and loved every moment! Very peaceful and quiet, just what we needed. Close enough to shopping in Burney and lots of fishing! The house was very comfortable and decorated with all things we love and very clean and well stocked. Ron was a fantastic host and exceptionally responsive to any questions or needs we had.
