Holiday rentals with breakfast in Shasta County

Great place off the beaten path to recharge, reflect, and enjoy the quiet. The location was close to a family event for us, and we felt welcome and happy to be so close. Somehow in all the listing description, I misinterpreted the listing as a separate living space from the host. It was actually a rented bedroom in the hosts living space and a shared end-of-the-hallway bathroom. Although surprised when we arrived, we had added another room to our reservation, and enjoyed the stay very much. Toni was gracious and helpful, and there was plenty of private time. We really enjoyed the pool in the hot weather, and peaceful loungers and reading space in the oasis. The beds were comfortable and quiet. We enjoyed meeting both hosts and their pups, as well as coming and going as needed. We appreciated the secure perimeter and felt at home as their guests.

Room was spacious, clean, and comfortable with private entrance. One bathroom was close and easily accessible, with shower in a separate bathroom down the hall. Beautiful property with deer and turkey in the morning. Very responsive and respectful host. Enjoyed our stay!

We had a wonderful stay at this spacious and well-equipped home in Redding! The house is very large and had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The highlight was definitely the amazing outdoor space—a beautiful pool and a fully loaded outdoor kitchen that made it perfect for relaxing and enjoying the California weather. The hosts clearly put a lot of care into the home and the outdoor area—it’s ideal for families or groups looking to unwind and have fun. The only small issue we noticed was that some of the kitchen dishes weren’t thoroughly clean, but that was easy to fix with a quick rinse. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would definitely recommend this place to others looking for a great stay in Redding!

Thanks so much, Liz This place was by far the best airbnb that I have ever stayed in, and we didn't even use the upstairs. The amenities provided afforded us a more than comfortable stay. The only thing I could have wished for was some kind of cable or tv programing, but wifi was a plus. Our host supplied us with farm fresh eggs, coffee and teas, bag of ice, basic cooking essentials like flour, sugar, butter, oil, and spices, along with a varied supply of cookware, and beautiful dishes and glassware. The back yard was equipped with patio tables, chairs, barbeque, and fire pit. As far as location, Shingletown is fantastically cool, 20 degrees cooler, compared to Redding, and the home is clean and in a nice, quiet neighborhood. I have stayed there before, and I would again, whenever I can. You cannot go wrong with this place. Enjoy, Pat Reeves

This place is just 15 min North of Redding in a quiet neighborhood. As a family of 5 we slept in 2 bedrooms, which was very comfortable. You share the home with John who prepares a wonderful breakfast for your entire family, very special. John is rarely home, so you own the place should you decide to stay there during the day. John is super friendly and he goes out of his way to make your stay just the way you want it.

This was our second stay, and we once again really enjoyed our stay. Thank you, Caitlin! We highly recommend choosing this as a home base for area activities. If you enjoy easy river kayaking, this is a great central location for kayaking on the Trinity River.

I unfortunately didn’t get to stay Veronica’s. My mother had a medical emergency on the way over and we had to cancel our trip. Veronica was extremely understand and gave me a full refund. Thank you so much really appreciate it and definitely will look for you next time we come over that way.

We had a wonderful stay at “The Inn”! The staff were very respectful, friendly, accommodating and helpful. The location is gorgeous and peaceful. I love how it is nestled in the woods! The buildings are beautiful and our room was lovely. The breakfast was delicious! I will recommend The Inn at Shasta Lake to anyone who needs a wonderful place to stay in Shasta County.

Close to I-5 so perfect pit stop for a roadtrip or to explore the beautiful surrounding region of Shasta Lake. Comfy king bed, easy check in/parking, breakfast delivered to room in the morning.

I took my husband for a surprise for his birthday. We brought our 2 dogs. We stayed in the Pinecone Treehouse. It was so clean, the hosts were very kind and responsive. The hosts were really great with their communication, checking in with us about how our stay was going. The property is gorgeous, and very peaceful. It's fun to be able to order breakfast to be delivered to your room, and makes this an even more special and unique experience.

What an amazing and serene stay at the Peace House with Becky and Mia. So much more than one could imagine. Close to sights, hikes, and shopping too there is much to see and do that brings balance to one’s trip.

This place was an absolute gem! We stayed here 2 nights while we were exploring Lassen Volcanic Park which is not far. Martha and Milo (her sweet pup) were very attentive and so kind. She was eager to help if we needed anything and her breakfast was great! The place was clean and we had everything we needed. I can highly recommend this B&B if you’re looking for a quiet place to stay that feels like home. We’re looking forward to our next stay in the future! Thank you again!

We loved our stay here! Martha was so friendly to both us and our 2 kids (ages 5 and 8). We would definately recommend for anyone wanting to stay in the area. We were visiting lassen national park which was 20 minutes or less from her place. Delicious breakfast too!
