Holiday rentals with a kayak in Shasta County

Room was spacious, clean, and comfortable with private entrance. One bathroom was close and easily accessible, with shower in a separate bathroom down the hall. Beautiful property with deer and turkey in the morning. Very responsive and respectful host. Enjoyed our stay!

Loris, place is beyond amazing! I’ve stayed at plenty of Air B&B’s but this one stood out by far! From the prestine home to the beautifull outdoors and nature it is truely a breathtaking view and stay. The lake, the hot tub, nature, cleanliness, the kitches, the amenities , and everything in between make Lori’s place a true and unbelievable experience! Dont hesitate to book or reach out to Lori for she is responsive and has a great home!

This was an amazing family trip. The house is right on the lake and there were deer every morning. Lori was very helpful and had everything laid out for us.

Great place. Would have preferred to have better understanding of the difficulties to access the place. However, the host was very nice. All you gotta do is spend a great deal of time reading a massive book with instructions and you will be fine.

This house was amazing, one of the best Airbnb's I've stayed at. It had everything you could possibly want in a lakeside getaway. The space and layout was perfect for two families of for with young kids. Given all the amenities included, it was a great value and super easy to relax and enjoy the location. Lori was a great host too, always responsive and easy to communicate with. We enjoyed the well equipped deck for all dinners and was able to stay warm on cooler nights with the heat lamps. The hot tub was a great location, away from other houses; it was also very clean. Kitchen was fully equipped and well stocked (had the sharpest knives!) I appreciated all the little details that made the house amazing...from custom local artwork to the fully loaded welcome basket. We will be back again!

Very accommodating and helpful hosts. The home was very clean and as described with different activities and amenities. The location was amazing with balcony views of the lake down below as well as a short walk to the lake. The beds were comfortable and clean and the rooms were spacious and organized. Overall a great place to spend a nice getaway.

Lori was a great host, always in communication, and responding to any question we had, the place is so pretty, clean, and very convenient. I truly recommend this place for someone who wants to have a good time out of the city and connects with the nature.

The house was beautiful, clean, and well equipped with everything we needed for our family. Christie was wonderful - extremely responsive and took care of everything we needed. She clearly thought about the little things and made sure we felt right at home. We would love to come back next time we're in the area.

I have never been excited to write a review before but here it goes, this place was magnificent! A beautiful cabin setting overlooking the sacramento arm of lake Shasta with a private dock, kayaks and life vests to use free of charge, this place must be on some kind of energetic lay line because the vibe was so good! I would definitely come back, also I recommend this place to anyone looking for a getaway for sure!

Scott and Julie have such a wonder property with multiple cottages of all sizes of group, which they have painstakingly maintained for multiple years. Scott I hom I interfaced with multiple times since the time I initially booked my cottage in February of 2023 had been super nice and helpful in multiple times addressing our request to change our reservation as after 4 hops in calendar time across March, June, July we finally made it in September and as a last minute curve ball I asked him to swap us to a larger cottage a day before heading to Lakehead and he was more than happy to accommodate. The hospitality and care showcased by him and Julie was none above anyone I have ever stayed at AirBnB at. The cottage was a lovely 2 bedroom cabin overlooking a quite calm end of lake shasta and was nicely tugged at the back of the property. This place is awesome and gawking at the night sky and then enjoy the deer walk by the property in the early hours of the morning was breathtaking. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🙏😊

Great stay, amazing location, spotless, and cozy

The cabin was amazing. It was everything we needed for a quick trip getaway to the caverns. The location was perfect and the amenities were wonderful. The hosts were super friendly and even offered us a coupon for the caverns. There was a wedding that was going on and the hosts let us know the music would be going late. It was fun and the noise ended earlier then what the expected time was given. We had a wonderful time with our family of four and look forward to staying at the cabin again one day. Thank you for a lovely experience!

A well priced, peaceful cabin in the woods, just on the banks of the lake. Two decent sized bedrooms and a good shower room. Lots of extras provided in the kitchen which was very welcome. The host was very flexible when we had to turn up slightly later than initially expected. WiFi and signal here slightly patchy but overall a very good stay!

Absolutely the best lake getaway we’ve ever had! We spent a perfect week here, and I can’t say enough good things. The place was so clean it practically squeaked, and it had everything we needed plus tons of extras we didn’t even realize we wanted! The AC kept us cool even when the sun was blazing, and there was plenty of space for all of us to relax and spread out. Downstairs was its own little paradise my kids, and granddaughters loved having their own living area. It was like a mini apartment, and it gave us all some breathing room There are three fridges, so you never have to make a trip to the store. There was so much to do! From yard games and lake toys outside to a mountain of board games inside, we were always busy. The master bedroom view of the lake, the trees, and the mountains right from bed was amazing! We anchored our boat right in front of the house all week, which made for amazing lake days. Dave and Lori are absolute gems and pour their hearts into what they do!

This was an amazing experience. The cabin is as cozy as described, felt like a home to me and my partner. It’s very complete, convenient location with beautiful views . Julie’s attention and communication was exceptional ❤️
