Cabin holiday rentals in Shasta County

Kavian’s place is in a very quiet/peaceful neighborhood and the location is close to Lassen Park. We were well rested every night on a super comfortable bed after our long hikes during the day. Although, we did wish that the pillows were softer and not so firm. The door to the garage from inside of the house is very difficult to close and once in the garage the light doesn’t turn on and it only turns on when you open/close the garage door. It’s also on a timer so, we couldn’t play ping pong that long, but it’s okay. Some of the kitchen utensils are damaged, particularly the rubber ones and the wine opener was no where to be found. We did figure out how to open the wine bottle though with an old school method lol. We were going to use the green blankets while watching the TV, but they smelled like a dog. We didn’t use the backyard at all. Everything else was clean and on point. It’s just the little things that need improvement NBD, but overall we were VERY satisfied with our stay here!

Great place to stay and very homey. Well equipped for a long term stay with everything needed for home cooked meals (Tupperware, spices, toaster, cookware). The stars are super visible here and we enjoyed stargazing from the hot tub. Shower head was a little low for my height but fantastic water pressure. We hope to stay here again when we return to Lassen!

Our family had a wonderful time at Heidi and Steph's place to celebrate our daughter's birthday. Heidi and Steph really made us feel like at home. They're the most wonderful hosts we've ever met. The view from the front porch, facing the river, is beautiful. Great place for fishing and enjoying the beauty of nature. We caught 6 trouts in two days. Yay! Thank you for showing us the spots and for everything else that made our trip an amazing one.

My family and I enjoyed a wonderful stay! The hot tub was probably the children's favorite part. It was the perfect staycation to unwind after the end of the school year. The home was clean and just as pictured. We also enjoyed the record player. The host was also very responsive and there was clearly a lot of effort to ensure guests had everything needed.

If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway to slow down and enjoy the simple things, this is the place. We left feeling refreshed and already thinking about our next visit.

We had a great time with the family at this lodging. We were on the last two days of a 10 day family camping trip, and decided to spread out and relax after a week with the six of us in the tent trailer. There was plenty of room in the driveway (inside the gate) to position and park our pop-up camper. The kids loved all the amenities, especially the game room and the hot tub., and the solid high speed internet. Kitchen was well-appointed for cooking, lots of climate control options provided, and we had fun playing scratchy old Hank Williams and Benny Goodman records on the record player. The location was very central to the things we wanted to see. While lingering snow foiled our plans to peak Mt. Lassen, Old Station is between Lassen and Burney Falls, which was a great accessible attraction. And the town of Burney, with relatively cheap gas and grocery stores is a short detour on the way home. Thank you Joy for sharing your place with us!

Peace and quiet surrounded by the woods and beautiful vistas. Only a 5 minute drive from Dunsmuir, avoiding the disruptive sounds of the trains that run through town.

We had a wonderful stay! There were only four of us and there was room for more. The kitchen was well stocked and Kavian is an excellent communicator. Very responsive, friendly and accommodating.

The cabin is decorated beautifully, and the host, Lillian, is very kind and welcoming! We had a wonderful stay, the bed is absolutely massive and was so comfortable to sleep on. It was a nice and peaceful retreat for my girlfriend and I! Highly recommend!

Very spacious and had lots of fun things inside the house. Everything was perfect for us and it was near from the Lassen Volcanic National Park. David was very friendly and responsive!

This is definitely a perfect getaway! I was roadtriping and stopped by Shingletown. Candess’s farm is huge and very beautiful. It’s for sure a wonderful place to have friends gathering, bbq, pool, animals, and all the natural beauty! The cabin is super super cute I literally screamed out when I stepped in, it’s exactly what you would imagine in the tales. Only thing was it didn’t have any service and I happened to get some work to do, and they kindly invited me to use the guest room which has internet. The night was amazing!

We just got back from 4 days here and loved every moment! Very peaceful and quiet, just what we needed. Close enough to shopping in Burney and lots of fishing! The house was very comfortable and decorated with all things we love and very clean and well stocked. Ron was a fantastic host and exceptionally responsive to any questions or needs we had. We loved our stay! My daughter got married at her house in Coffee Creek. The cabin was perfect for my family to stay in. You had everything we needed and more! Thank you!

My family and I really enjoyed our stay here! The home was beautiful and looked exactly like the photos. We had a little issue but Christie responded quickly and was able to send someone the next day to fix it. It was easy to find and the Oasis Center next door was perfect for us to walk over to enjoy some activities. The noise level from the center surprisingly wasn’t bothersome at all. Overall, it was a great stay and I would stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay at Michael's place. The perfect cosy place for our family Thanksgiving. Michael welcomed us in person, showed us around the place and was available for anything we needed. Great place, great host!

Andrew and his co-hosts were very communicative, responsive, and flexible. The pool was clutch, as we were not used to the heat of Northern California in June, and very much appreciated the ability to cool off in the water every day (also kept our kids entertained). The location was beautiful and close to amenities. Would definitely stay there again the next time we visit our family who live in the area.

The adventure lake house was amazing ! Fully stocked and all organic condiments and some extra food in the pantry. The kitchen had everything we needed coffee maker and everything needed to cook.We had plenty of room to park our 23 foot Malibu wake board boat out front which we tow with our model X Tesla. The 220 Tesla charger helped us keep a full charge. There are no other chargers in the area so this saved us. The cabin is perfect for 2 people.The view of the water was filtered a tad by the trees but still able to see and the walk was less than 3 mins to the water. The house was super cute with lake themed items placed around the house. Beautiful pictures of mount shasta and lake Shasta in each room. The AC was cold and the bed was super comfy with plush new sheets and robes in the closet. The house was fully stocked with lake toys! Paddle boards,inflatable raft, water toys,life vests,etc. we highly recommend this plug and play Shasta adventure lake house and will be returning soon

8 minutes away from the Caverns which is a fun outing. peacefull.

Not enough space to mention how awesome this place is. My kid wanted to visit Lassen Nat'l Park for her college grad gift. Manzanita Lake was just over 6 miles away. We kayaked & jogged happily daily. The local grocery store wasn't too far either . This home is insanely beautiful and very well kept. It had everything we needed. We used the grill, fishing poles, washer/dryer, all the kitchen appliances, and EXCELLENT wi-fi. 2 full baths for 5 is always a plus . Every morning & evening we sat on the back deck snuggled in a blanket, listening to the creek and drinking coffee provided by our hosts. We even enjoyed an evening with board games and wine made by the hosts as well! My hubby and I kept remarking about the cool little things we kept finding in the house, just little touches that made the home more charming and fun. The host answered our texts promptly and was super funny. Felt like a true family vacation, loved every minute. OH and all the guys LOVED playing the N64!

We had a wonderful stay at Meghan’s cabin. It’s in a beautiful area too. Meghan was extremely welcoming and went above and beyond when we had car troubles. We cannot thank her enough for a great stay and for all her help!
