Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Shasta County

This is the second time I have stayed here and enjoyed it immensely! Comfortable beds and pillows. Place is always clean and super close to my best friend’s house. Close to the freeway and lots of restaurants! Thanks so much for another wonderful stay in California!!

This was the perfect place for me. Check in was easy and Joshua was a great host. The Oak House was exactly as described and just what I was looking for! If I am ever in town I will definitely stay here again. Thank you !

We enjoyed our long weekend in the bungalow! The place was just as described, and Brandy was very responsive before and during our stay. The area is very residential, but not far (a 20+ minute walk down a hill) from restaurants and downtown Redding. All essential amenities were available, and it was nice to have a washer and dryer on the back deck.

We had an amazing time staying at the house. The kids and adults both loved the pool and the heat. Everything as described and would happily stay again!

We absolutely loved this cottage with the front and backyard gardens, and we wished we had been staying in Redding for longer than one night just so we could fully relish this delightful home. The antiques were a lovely touch and the bedrooms were thoughtfully decorated. Such an inviting space. Book this house! You won't be disappointed!

Angie’s house was a wonderful place for us to stay while visiting family in Redding. We enjoyed our stay very much and found the home to be exactly as described and in a great neighborhood!

This was our first time to stay in a portion of a home and the studio was perfect for what we needed. It had all the amenities, was clean, easy to access, parking. Rebekah was always responsive if we had questions or needed anything. She made us feel right at home.

Rhonda was a wonderful host and her home was a great find for the price. She met us for check-in and helpfully explained everything we might need to know about the house. The bedrooms were comfortable, the home was well maintained, and we really appreciated how well the AC was working after a long day of driving. Rhonda provided coffee beans and does not require guests to clean before leaving, which were both nice bonuses! I would absolutely stay here again if I was going back to Redding.

I stayed here with my friend and her dog on our way to go backpacking in the Trinity Alps. This was the perfect place and we would stay again, lovely kitchen and living room. Comfy beds and clean bathroom. Linda was very responsive and gave clear instructions with photos so we could arrive in the evening with no issues.

our way was great, we only stayed a day but I had stayed longer i would have enjoyed more of the great amenities. Host was communicative and checked in on us via messenger. glad the location was out of main hustle and bustle but only a 15 minute drive if you wanted to get food or a store. would recommend!

She let me know ahead I’d stay at a different rental on the same property as the frig went out in the one I had booked. It was a small house WELL worth the price…clean, comfy & peaceful with everything I needed. I esp. enjoyed sitting in the yard behind the property, watching the horses, chickens & llamas.

We stayed at Jessica’s studio in Weaverville for 1 night. Great spot for exploring the charming small mountain communities and outdoor recreation. The weather was quite warm during our visit, but Jessica’s place has A/C which was great for us to cool down a little. Very comfortable for stay, wish it had been longer. We shall return if we plan to travel back here. The mountains, creeks, rivers and lakes are stunning! 🌲🛶⛰️❤️

Great place and great hosts. It’s a vintage home with lots of charm. Spacious and comfortable. Slept really well on a nice bed. Greg was very helpful and always responsive to questions. They give you plenty of space to do your thing. The neighborhood is nice too. Quiet but close to the old downtown and everything on the west side.

Christie was an outstanding host. Super prompt communication and checked in to make sure everything was good. The place had a great vibe. Everything was modern. My mother and I got good rest on comfy beds. Bathroom was great. Having washer/dryer in unit was a bonus. Kitchen had everything to cook with. Parking was never an issue. Coffee shop downstairs is really good as well. Nice to be able to walk to downtown in under 5 minutes. 5* host 5* stay

During a 10-day road trip, we spent 3 nights in Darlene’s wonderful rental unit in Redding. She is an excellent host who made us feel very welcome. The rental unit is great, and has everything needed for a pleasant and relaxing stay, including cookware, dishes, coffeemaker, etc., and the bed is extremely comfortable. Darlene is very communicative, and responds quickly to inquiries. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and look forward to a return visit!
