Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Shanklin

Bonnie view Hilltop retreat was the perfect destination for our long weekend visit to Ventnor. Having read all the reviews, my expectations were already quite high but I can honestly say after visiting we were truly blown away! The attention to detail is next to none and we felt right at home as soon as we arrived. Communication was also great from beginning to end. Thanks so much for a remarkable and peaceful stay!

Thank you Carl for an amazing stay! There were 4 adults and two children under 6 and the villa had everything we needed. The treats on arrival including milk and biscuits was a touch and there were lots of basic kitchen items which were very helpful. Bonchurch is a very quiet place but walkable to Ventnor and we enjoyed the walk along the coastal path. We also enjoyed visiting Shanklin beach, which was a short drive away. The accommodation had everything we could have needed including 3 amazing bathrooms which for 4 adults was a big treat.

absolute gem literally home from home . lovely seaside cottage with literally everything in it that you could possibly want or need . I will definitely be booking stephs home in the near future and I highly recommend it to friends and family it was spot on in every way ... and we were left the most gorgeous rock cakes . fabulous . perfect.

Lovely house, great location in town close to beach and shops/restaurants. Our favourite bit was the deck at the back of the house with the view out to the sea! Kathryn was a model host- communicative, helpful. Would heartily recommend!

Really enjoyed our stay with our dog - who loved the paddock! So relaxing to just sit on the sofa, enjoy the outlook and watch the birds wizz about. Beautiful and peaceful location with wonderful local walks, especially down the lane towards West Ashling with its picturesque mill pond. On a Monday evening there's a wood fired pizza van at the Richmond Arms there, serving delicious pizzas. Bosham and West Wittering are easily reached by car and well worth a visit.

We had an amazing stay - the property is breathtaking. Clean and modern, comfortable and a good size. The dogs were safe in the garden as it's all fenced in. The balcony with views over sea is stunning and we enjoyed having coffee out there every morning then soaking in the hot tub in the evening after a day venturing out to the local sites (the sea excursion and Ventnor Botanical gardens are well worth doing!). Thank you for a fabulous stay - we're already planning to return next year!

We had a fantastic stay during May half term with the kids - the house is stunning, even better than the photos and the view is spectacular. The house has a very high -end finish to it and had everything you could wish for in terms of amenities. We look forward to visiting again sometime soon

Cedar House is simply stunning. Beautiful gardens and surroundings, very comfortable and spacious property with everything you need. The pool and spa are a delight and I couldn't recommend highly enough. Kelly as a host is great as well, good at responding and clear with information, nothing was too much trouble. Overall, a brilliant place, would definitely recommend.

Fantastic stay for a long weekend with my wife! The location was perfect for exploring the town, and the exclusive development added a touch of luxury. The apartment was spotless and well-maintained, with a great view of the river from the balcony - The seating and table was very comfortable. The one-bedroom layout worked well for us, with spacious rooms and a hall. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed. A big plus was the convenient car parking, just a stone's throw from the lift. One tip for future guests: make sure to pick up the garage key fob from the apartment before unloading your car! Overall, we were very comfortable here and would definitely stay again. Highly recommended!

The appartment was in an excellent location although access to the town on foot was hampered by the recent rockfall which had blocked all access via the direct route. This, obviously was outside of David and Mandy hands, but advanced info on this issue would have been helpful, as my wife is still recovering from a knee replacement. However, this would not have resulted in us changing our booking. The property was well equipped, comfortable and clean, with a fantastic view over the beach and sea. Ventnor Park and the beach were all within 10 to 15minute walking distance and the town would have been less than five minutes. We very much enjoyed our stay.

Absolutely stunning! This gorgeous apartment offers everything you need for a true home-away-from-home experience—comfortable beds, a lovely bathroom, and a fully equipped kitchen stocked with everything you might require. And the view? Simply breathtaking. Waking up and falling asleep to the sound of the waves was pure bliss. A beautiful location to get away from it all with a small selection of places to eat and drink within a couple of minutes walk - we ate at Drifters which can recommend as the food was delicious. There is also a small selection of shops with everything you might need. We stayed for 3 nights but wished we had stayed longer as you are also a in a good position to visit Chichester, Portsmouth and Arundel Castle but to be honest we had such amazing weather in a wonderful location we didn't venture very far on this trip but will definitely be booking to visit again! Absolutely perfect!

A wonderful stay for a surprise birthday for my wife. Despite the weather not being amazing, we loved the location and the place. Great restaurants within 2-10 minutes walk and the view and the noise for the sea were AMAZING!

Lovely apartment. Everything we needed. Comfortable. Loved the balcony as it gave an unhindered outlook to the bay, which we love and have visited for many years. Daughter and family in flat below so gave us a lovely family holiday. Lovely Sunday lunch at the Albion though need to make sure you have the Sunday roast menu which they forgot to give us!! This place is absolutely gorgeous spot to stay it overlooks the beach ,sit on balcony watch the world go by .it was lovely and clean with pretty decor all through it feels like your at home .definitely coming back soon

Lovely apartment and great host, we had an issue with a blown fuse the first night and Stacey responded to my message quickly and as she was away she got someone else to come round to get it sorted within the hour.

Great location to get to lots of various locations, we visited New Forest, Southampton, Portsmouth and walked down to the shingle beach, which was only a ten minute walk! Lovely and clean place, small but not tiny, just enough room for two adults and two small dogs. Everything was a thoughtful touch, from kitchen wear to comfort. Would definitely stay again if I was ever visiting the same area. Jackie was super helpful and very friendly, which is always a bonus. The surrounding area is residential and also partly industrial but noise level was low, which we appreciated. Plenty of space to park your car and close to the train station.

An absolutely beautiful property in the most stunning surroundings. The accommodation was equipped to such a high spec, it's by far the best Airbnb we have ever stayed in and a fantastic base to explore the Isle of Wight. We can't wait to return! Thanks to Richard for being a wonderful host.

The flat was spacious and comfortable, with all the dishes and linens we needed. Check-in instructions were very clear (with helpful photo illustrations). The location is only a few minutes from everything in central Southampton.

Very clean and comfortable place to stay. Easy access to nearby coastal path with a good pub opposite. The places is as described and clean - will definitely start again .

Wow! What an Airbnb! Absolutely pristine apartment and is exactly as the photos and description. Brilliant communication and advice before during and after the stay. Easy to get in as we arrived late at night. Spotless throughout and comfortable beds and sofas. Great kitchen. Great shower. Cannot fault anything! Very short 2 min walk into town where there are lots of nice shops and pubs. Easy to get around the new forest. If you’re looking for somewhere to stay near here then 100% pick this place!!

Rock pools is a superb flat for a holiday in Seaview. A stone’s throw from the beach and a lovely sea wall walk into the village and cafes of Seaview. Flat is so well equipped for a small family or as we were an elderly mum and daughter visiting family. I would thoroughly recommend staying here in this lovely bright, clean and spacious flat with all mod cons for a holiday needed and finished to a high quality. Katie is so friendly and responsive to all queries and a great host! Many thanks .

This is a lovely apartment. It had everything we needed and was a 5 minute walk to the beach. It was much bigger than we expected. Loved having the garden with plenty of seating. Everything was clean and tidy. Plus the welcome basket was a lovely touch. Thanks Jane.

Fiona's apartment is a very good size for a one bed apartment and it was very clean and bright - looks even better in real life than in the photographs. Location was excellent and we were fortunate to get parking across from the apartment for the 2 nights that we were there. We didn't get to meet Fiona but communication was always very friendly and timely. We look forward to returning for another visit at some point in the near future
