Great little place just for a couple

The outdoor courtyard is especially nice and private-,with a fire pit, grill and comfortable chairs. It is a rustic location easy walking distance to North Shore Beach. If you want an ocean beach you can drive straight south for 20 minutes and reach Smiths Point State Park right on the ocean. The North Fork with its vineyards is a short drive and the Hamptons also only 30 minutes to West Hampton. You can fish, golf, walk among the wooded area and relax in peace. Brand new private 1 BASEMENT bedroom apartment fully furnished. Just bough a brand new comfortable Queen size bed. Full kitchen, bathroom, living room. Bedroom has walk in closet. Apartment is in the BASEMENT of a 2500 sft home. The apartment is at least 800 square feet and has a private entrance. Has Keurig ( which I supply coffee , sugar and creamer for) , full stove, big frig, a microwave, toaster, hair Dryer and iron. Plenty of towels, shampoo, conditioner and soap. NO PETS ALLOWED

We absolutely loved the Hidden retreat! We enjoyed all of the gathering spots. Especially the outdoor fireplace!!! Everything was wonderful! Very clean and beds were very comfortable. Short walk to excellent restaurants, shops and water. Hope to visit again!

Here the clocks seem to have stopped ticking for some decades and people are preserved in the here and now. We rang the old ships bell and Ted opened with his long white ponytail and a smile. We entered and found ourselves wandering through an Antique world. The house was built in the late 19th century and is surrounded by a lovely garden. There are 3 guestrooms , 2 sharing a bathroom. So this might not be ideal for loners or honeymooners. Teds house is the perfect house for people who like to be around other people, like to meet and communicate. Teds house is where things are as they are and you can simply be yourself. Ted is funny and entertaining . Sometimes the greatest gift is to find a place where you can stay and talk and where things do not change- when everything else around you , everything you know is constantly changing and changing fast. Highly recommend for people who like the simple Live In The Now Moment. Thank you Ted for inviting us to your special world!

Nerlly was incredibly accomadating and provided excellent recommendations for things to do while in Long Island. I stayed here while visiting Long Island wine country and the location is well within driving distance to some of the best wineries and vineyards the East Coast has to offer. If the opportunity comes again to visit Long Island I will try to stay here again!
