Second time staying here and would recommend to anyone wanting a peaceful coast trip. We’ve come in the winter and the cottage is always a warm and cozy place to return to after a cold winters day at the beach. Well stocked with thoughtful touches make you feel right at home, thanks Jill!

A homely little cottage with a well equipped kitchen and comfortable bed. The heat pump was effective in warming the space in the chilly weather. Such a beautiful view and relatively private. I highly recommend doing the Huriawa Pā Walk out on the spit if the weather is dry.

Had the most relaxing, rejuvenating weekend at Sylvia's Cottage. The accommodation is as described, but I also say that the cottage feels like a warm hug. Comfortable beds and furniture, easy access to the beach and headland walks. This cottage was absolutely perfect for our long weekend reboot!

Great wee spot to relax and enjoy family time for a 70th party. We had fantastic weather and the new deck was the perfect place to chill out, so sheltered and great views. Recommend walking around and exploring the area, great wee shop too with lovely coffee and delicious wood fired pizzas 😊
