House holiday rentals in Santa Teresa Beach

I could not recommend this airbnb more!!! The hosts were the best hosts I have had through airbnb. They messaged us before our stay to give us instructions on how to find the place along with restaurants and recommendations on what to do. Any questions we had they were extremely attentive and responding in minutes. The location was stunning. It was difficult to get to with a car but 100% doable. We ended up renting an ATV from a company that they work with. The ATV company came to deliver it to the house and picked it up as well The hosts offered a cleaning lady to come daily which was an even better plus. It was only about a 5 minute ATV ride to the start of the main road where all the restaurants are. Overall, we had an amazing stay :))

Beautiful accommodation, Fanny is super attentive and kind. The way to get there is a bit tricky, but worth it.

Had an amazing stay ! Location gives you a real feel of Costa Rica, she was not kidding when she said you need a 4X4 to access the property. Love the home, love the view, and love the easy communication with the host.

Make sure you have 4x4 and book this place, you won’t regret it!!!!!!!

Host was amazing , recommend renting ATVs , host arranged for them to be delivered for us, we loved riding them into town , to the beaches and visited Montezuma and the tide pools. We look forward to renting this property again on our next visit to the area !

Beautiful place with amazing views! Every morning we saw monkeys and beautiful birds from the terrace, and the butterflies all day. Close to cute restaurants and to the beach. We had a wonderful time!

Great villa. Community was beautiful & safe. Shared pool was lovely. 5min walk to the beach. Quick drive into town. Always appreciate coffee & sugar!

Had an insanely beautiful stay at Casa Marmara! Spent 2 weeks surrounded by beautiful nature & felt right at home. The house is STUNNING. It felt so open & relaxing with the doors that open fully & the pool right outside. Everything was spotless upon arrival and the cleaner came every 3 days! The beds were super comfortable, AC was very powerful, and had no issues the entire stay. Ricardo was super responsive and always replied quickly when we had any questions or needed recommendations! The road to the house is rough, so definitely have a 4x4 car or rent a quad in ST, but it’s the perfect mix of close to town and private/quiet. Very safe neighborhood as well! Cannot recommend this place enough, definitely coming back for another getaway in the future!!

From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by how clean, beautifully designed, and well-stocked the space was. The location was ideal — close enough to everything we wanted to explore, yet peaceful and quiet at night. Whether we were relaxing on the patio, enjoying the local scenery, or cooking in the fully-equipped kitchen, every moment felt effortless and enjoyable. Absolutely perfect for our girls’ trip! Villa Koa was everything we hoped for and more. The house is spacious, beautifully laid out, and the beds were super comfy. The backyard and views were absolutely stunning—perfect for relaxing and catching up. Just a heads-up: the villa is nestled in the mountains/jungle, so bugs are part of the experience—but nothing unexpected for the setting and totally manageable. You’ll definitely need a 4x4 with high clearance (we had a Suzuki Jimny and it handled the road great). The house is not walkable to town or restaurants, so having a car is a must. Special shoutout to Sophie, the concierge—she was amazing! She gave us fantastic local recommendations and helped plan some great outings. We had a brief issue with the hot water, but concierge responded immediately and maintenance got it sorted right away. Already planning our return next year—can’t wait!

Everything was amazing including the chef I hired. The massage therapist for my retreat was top notch. Marisel the house manager was top of the line! She was very responsive and took care of all of my needs for my women's retreat as well and scheduled the massages and transportation. Sergio our driver for our excursions was the best. The customer service was phenomenal. My only challenge was I scheduled a beach picnic, and the description said there was a path to the beach. This is a path right along the driveway separated by greenery (not sure why the path was even built when you can just walk down the driveway and end up in the same place and easier. This path includes about 50 steps and about 8/10 cement stepping-stones that lead to a gate, you then walk across the street to another path that's not good for elderly or anyone with knee/hip/leg challenges as it's over debris, rocks, roots, water, mud etc and at least another 1000 steps if not more (not good at distance).

Casa Tina was a gem. We had a wonderful vacation with our 3-generation family. We particularly enjoyed the pool and the outdoor facility. Thank you!

The place is charming, it has everything, a pleasant homely atmosphere. The kitchen is very well equipped, the bathroom and shower are pleasant. The location is really central but quiet and close to the beach and restaurants and shops. The hostess was amazing and helped us with everything we needed immediately and happily. We had a great time! Recommend 😊

Absolutely stunning villa experience. My stay was incredible, the house is a quick walk to the beach with great stores/restaurants nearby while still offering plenty of privacy and comfort. Lot's of great dining options nearby and easily walkable to the center of town. I had an amazing time and the hosts were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The pool, hammock, sunlight, and outdoor shower was an awesome added touch. Highly recommend this villa for anyone looking to enjoy their time in Santa Teresa! Thank you!!

This properly is amazing! The hosts and cleaning services are very friendly. You will need a 4x4 to make it up the hill and it’s not easy for a newbie. But don’t be worried, you are in Costa Rica and most roads are like this. The property is minutes away from Santa Teresa beach but also very close to many other beaches that are more private. The sunset from the house is the best you’ll find in the whole town. If you want to check out to sunset on the beach, check out the sunset from the house first. Don’t be worried about the bugs either. They are everywhere but won’t interrupt you while you sleep. You will also need to pay attention to the ants if you leave food out. Would recommend this place to anyone!!

Due to an unfortunate issue with our original place to stay, we had to make a last minute pivot. We were so grateful to have found Richard’s place and his incredible hospitality. This place is toward the north part of the town, so it felt much less crowded and it was particularly quiet at night. All we heard were the waves and an occasional lizard on the roof! 😂 We cooked most of our meals at the property, and the kitchen setup worked great. The instant beach access was amazing, and the ability to come back and relax in the hammocks and at the table/couch area in the shade was also a giant perk. Maria cleaned the place each day, which was also a bonus and an example of their wonderful care. It’s located beside a cafe, which does mean more people nearby at times, but it also means quick access to food/drink. Aside from the first evening when a DJ was playing at the cafe (Sunday funday!), it was a quiet and peaceful place to relax and enjoy a beautiful location. Many thanks!

We had a great stay, the airbnb is beautiful and had everything we needed. It’s only a 15 min walk to the centre with nice cafes and restaurants and about 5/10 minutes to the beach. We would definitely come back

We had a wonderful stay! The place is beautiful and wonderfully quiet – a true retreat. Its location was perfect, with the surfing area being an easy walk away. The house itself was very comfortable and we felt completely safe. Communication with the host was fantastic

This is the only place we love to stay at in ST! It's perfect for our family of 5. Best things about it are the location-it is steps from the beach and our favorite beach bar Rocamar, proximity to Hermosa beach where our kids surf, and we also love the daily cleaning. We will be back!

such a beautiful place to stay Santa Teresa. everything was new and modern and worked as it should. felt right at home and the host was responsive and gave us great recommendations of where to go in the area, they also provide a transportation service if you need to get around without the hassle.
