My stay was beautiful. The home is bright, clean, & spacious with a well-stocked kitchen. There’s no oven, but I cooked every meal I wanted. The bed is comfy, & the patio is perfect for breakfast. There’s a stunning hike nearby. Map to “Montecito,” take the left fork, and it loops back to the house. More trails are a short taxi ride away. Buses to the city are easy (10 pesos), & DiDi for taxi. Maria offers a ride if it aligns with her work schedule. She’s incredibly kind & genuinely cares about her guests. Filtered water is available upon request, which was super helpful. There’s also a sweet cleaning service from Carmelita. The local market near Mula Café has amazing fresh produce. The neighborhood is peaceful & friendly. If you're a light sleeper, bring earplugs as dogs sometimes bark at night. This place feels like home thanks to the love and generosity of Maria and her family. I’m so grateful to have found it.

Our stay was excellent. The apartment was very nice, clean and is in an excellent area to explore downtown Oaxaca. Skarlett was a kind and attentive hostess during our stay. I would definitely recommend it.

This place is super cute and comfortable. The kitchen is complete with everything you need (coffee maker, blender, stove, utensils, Tupperware etc). The shower is hot, the internet is strong enough for zoom calls. Hosts are friendly and helpful. Plenty of natural light. It is a 40 min walk to downtown or an 80-120 peso taxi ride. There is a grocery store near by and restaurants walking distance. I recommend this place. I would stay there again.

Amazing place to stay! Host was super responsive and helpful with any inquiries wether it was concerning my stay at the location or questions regarding the surrounding area. I felt at home and most importantly my belongings felt secure which is a big plus. Beautiful view from the roof, clean place, and very cozy! Will definitely return in the event of another visit! Gio's place was perfect for my few nights in Oaxaca and I appreciated how attentive he was to all the details and any questions I had. The apartment had everything I needed and I slept very comfortably each night. One thing, the windows overlook a street that was busy at some times and noisy at times. It didn't bother me but it is worth nothing. I'd stay there again.

Loved this flat! Such a great location so comfortable close to everything! - you have everything you need in the flat. I felt safe and secure in the neighbourhood and found everyone so friendly and helpful. There is a fantastic taco restaurant next door and a great cafe called Rustiko up the block. Highly recommend this place and will stay again when I return to this lovely city

The room is very well equipped, the air conditioning is a plus for the heat of Oaxaca. You have shops, supermarkets and the center 15 min walk. Would definitely stay here again. In addition, Karla was always very kind and responded quickly to our questions

Had an overall pleasant stay at Jose’s place! The apartment is very spacious and is very close to the centro/shopping. I appreciate their flexibility and hospitality!

Lupita was a lovely host with great communication. The apartment was true to the description and photos. Nice location near a park and slightly away from the hustle of centro but still easily walkable. There's also a nice co-working space literally next door if you're working and want a change of location.

The apartment is super nice, pleasant, tidy and clean. It has everything it says in amenities, Elena was kind and attentive at all times, I would definitely come back.

What a treat to stay at Karmen's! Great views, friendly neighbors, lots of amazing birds right outside your doorstep, in walking distance to the archeological site Monte Alban, small stores to get food, and the artist town of Arrazola where they make alebrijes. Also, the internet was reliable enough that I could work from home (using video calls)! The spot is about a half hour outside of the city by mototaxi, so the air is cleaner and it's more peaceful than you'll find elsewhere. Karmen has planted hundreds of native trees and plants on the land so there are lots of pollinators, gorgeous butterflies, flowers, and a couple of very sweet dogs. Karmen was a great host- proactive, responsive, and kind. She generously invited me to many incredible events locally and in the city. She is very well connected in the artist and healing communities. What a great deal! Hope to be back soon.

The apartment was super clean, I am a very picky person when it comes to hygiene and this place was so clean you can smell it as soon as you walk in. Very functional, the area is great walking distance to everything, love the cute European vibes. It would stay here again no hesitation. Communication was right on the dot and it will rate this place 100 out of 10. Love it!!!

The loft is outstanding! Very beautiful, clean, comfortable and nearby the centre with a lot of restaurants. The bed is amazing: very big and comfortable. Maria Claudina is a great host with quick responses on messages/questions. The only thing what was not so comfortable for us (light sleeper/sensitive), was that the light is coming from the roof windows what wakes us up very early. Together with a very noisy bird who likes to scream (or sing, depending on your preferences. ;-)), our days began earlier than we would like. But all together: we would book the loft again if we visit Oaxaca ever again! Thank you Maria Claudina and Dennys!

I had a great stay at Daphne’s place. It’s perfect if your travelling solo - there is more than enough room! The location is also great - there are good coffee shops close-by and you’re only 5 minutes from Santo Domingo church. The Wi-Fi seas also great - I had a job interview while staying and didn’t have any issues with the connection. If I am ever back in Oaxaca I will be sure to stay at Daphne’s place again!

Thank you so much for another amazing stay (this was our second time here). Absolutely beautiful property and the perfect size for a group of 6 - so many different spaces to hang out, work, or have downtime for ourselves. Communication, check-in process, and general information/guidance were excellent.

The place is far from the centre of Oaxaca where many of the things to see and do are, you’ll need a car if you stay here - Taxis aren’t as accessible / convenient depending on time of day. Otherwise, great place and made use of the rooftop. Very clean, easy check in.

great place to stay with a big group

Due to the geography of the city, in this area the houses do not handle garcheras, if you are one of those who car is very worried about leaving your car in the street Think well, if you arrive without a car , it is the best because you remove that earring. Of the rest, everything is OK host and installation.

Our stay was very comfortable, the guard was always very attentive and friendly, it is worth making room to enjoy the apartment, the area is quiet and the view is beautiful. Rosa provides you with all the necessary information about the place and recommendations for the city. As a recommendation, you should book taxis in advance for departures.

A highly recommended place, we loved everything, the jacuzzi is amazing, everything is very tidy, clean and beautiful. We would definitely come back.
