Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Santa Cruz Xoxocotlán

Amy’s place was exactly what I needed for my 5 week stay in Oaxaca. The house is a beautiful mix of traditional and modern. A simple and well designed space with everything I needed. The San Felipe neighborhood is a bit far from all the happenings in the city but if you’re comfortable being a bit off the beaten path and learn how the local buses work it makes for nice escape. Would definitely stay here again!

Dulce was very kind and attentive, she received us at the last minute and gave us her house with great willingness. The location is excellent, very close to the airport, which was super convenient for us. Thank you for everything, Dulce!

Mirtha's place is very comfortable. It has everything you need to have a good stay. We were able to take our dog and it has a little doggy for the dog to come out there. It's a good location near downtown. If you don't carry a car, there are collective taxis that pass in the corner and take you to downtown. We had a problem with a chapa that was closed to us and Mirtha was quickly there to solve it. She was attentive the whole time. The only detail is that there are a lot of loose big dogs on the streets outside, then if you carry dog you need to be careful.

Excelente lugar

Excellent place, with a very local and pleasant atmosphere, it is close to downtown (I arrive by car), Moni was on the lookout and sent us recommendations from some places nearby.

WOW. where to begin. Marcela and Angeles home was fantastic. Their communication was excellent. They greeted us upon arrival and allowed an early check in . They also had hot Oaxacan chocolate , juice , cookies and fruit waiting for us. Their home was very spacious. with 2 second floor balconies. The hot water in the showers and kitchen sink was piping hot and plentiful. The wifi was extremely fast.The beds were very comfortable. just the right amount of soft. Each bedroom was well appointed. The bedding was good quality and soft. 4 pillows each bed. Bedside tables and lamps and hangers etc. 2 seating areas with comfortable furniture and large screen TVs with English and Spanish stations. Youtube and Netflix. The bathrooms had lovely towels and you can flush the toilet paper. ( which is not common in Mexico) . The kitchen had everything you need. including coffee & tea. oil and spices for cooking. 15-20 min. walk to Central square. The stair headroom is low. Will stay again.

We had a fantastic stay for one week. Incredible location, lovely people, so peaceful. The house was well equipped and the pool was great. we can't wait to return soon again.

Excellent house to spend a few days with friends. The house is fully equipped for the number of people staying. The pool is small but sufficient to cool off and socialize around it. The house is very comfortable.

an excellent place to spend a day in peace, the place is very nice, regarding other comments that said the poor ventilation in the bedroom, we did not suffer, in fact we slept very comfortably, the place is as shown in the photos and the treatment provided is very nice :)

An accommodation that is worth what you pay. Although the area is not very close to the center, it offers speed on the main avenues. It's not difficult to get there and the house is in a safe area. It has extra amenities that sometimes make you want to stay in the house, excellent accommodation.

What a lovey spot for our family to gather and have a home base as we explored Oaxaca. It was perfect for us and we loved our time there. Mariana was helpful in her recommendations and there was never a need to contact her during our stay as the home provided everything we needed. It was also so very nice to have Raquel to clean for us and Efrain to manage the pool and outdoor spaces. We highly recommend this spot for travel to Oaxaca.

I would happily stay here again! The location is quiet and short walking distance to all the restaurants in town. Oaxaca is an old rustic city & the house reflects the rustic aesthetic of the city. The house is a sleeper from the exterior. Once inside you see the biggest selling point of this house--4 separate spaces for guests to hang out. The kitchen is the central hub. The courtyard is green with vegetation and hummingbirds. The terrace overlooks the city and is amazing. Also on the 2nd floor is a sun deck and 2 person pool. The 3 bedrooms are spacious and 3 bathrooms are plenty. Master bedroom has ensuite bathroom and other large bedroom has bathroom just two steps away. The many gathering areas beat a hotel any day. Mari managed the property while we were there and you can arrange for in home prepared meals. Nothing short of AMAZING. Her mole equaled the Michelin star restaurants in town. We did tours with Zapotec Travel, which were great.

Lovely home with a nice courtyard and pool. Quiet neighborhood. Although not within walking distance to Centro Historico, there are buses nearby and cabs as well. I highly recommend this Airbnb.

I had a perfect stay! Very nice Apartment, everything fully equipped, walking distance to everything I needed. Very good communication, on every wish or question was a reaction immediately.

Alejandro has been one of the best hosts I've ever had! He was very friendly throughout the stay. The location is perfect because it is next to Chedraui and has many things less than 5 minutes away such as parcel, restaurants, pharmacies, etc. The house is well equipped and everything is in perfect condition. I didn't have any problems with hot water. The cleaning lady was also quite friendly

I spent 5 nights here relaxing and working and I felt extremely comfortable, it had everything I needed, secure parking for my moto was very nice, the view was amazing, and there are tiendas and food everywhere. The shower was amazing and the internet was perfect, the work desk was very comfortable for long hours working on the computer. I would definitely stay again.

Claude was very friendly, flexible and we loved her classic VW! The bungalow is very tidy, with the necessary amenities, a super comfortable bed that we wanted to take and a huge garden so our dog can run and loiter. We had a very relaxed and peaceful time. I'd like to come back when it's all greener. Thank you so much for everything Claude!

What a treat to stay at Karmen's! Great views, friendly neighbors, lots of amazing birds right outside your doorstep, in walking distance to the archeological site Monte Alban, small stores to get food, and the artist town of Arrazola where they make alebrijes. Also, the internet was reliable enough that I could work from home (using video calls)! The spot is about a half hour outside of the city by mototaxi, so the air is cleaner and it's more peaceful than you'll find elsewhere. Karmen has planted hundreds of native trees and plants on the land so there are lots of pollinators, gorgeous butterflies, flowers, and a couple of very sweet dogs. Karmen was a great host- proactive, responsive, and kind. She generously invited me to many incredible events locally and in the city. She is very well connected in the artist and healing communities. What a great deal! Hope to be back soon.

This place is super cute and comfortable. The kitchen is complete with everything you need (coffee maker, blender, stove, utensils, Tupperware etc). The shower is hot, the internet is strong enough for zoom calls. Hosts are friendly and helpful. Plenty of natural light. It is a 40 min walk to downtown or an 80-120 peso taxi ride. There is a grocery store near by and restaurants walking distance. I recommend this place. I would stay there again.

A very comfortable place, with the necessary amenities to spend the days of rest. Francisco is always attentive and in communication.
